Chapter 339: Zhang Xuanchu preached

Seeing that the two two-headed little dragons were particularly cute, pestering him to keep flying, babbling and shouting and not listening, Zhang Xuanchu was not very good, and he didn't pay attention to it, and talked and chatted with many ordinary dragon grandsons and dragon transformers.

Yulan was so happy that she gave a lot of delicious food to these two butterfly dragons, and the two dragons would not leave her, and they were very happy.

Zhang Xuanchu's heart is not ordinary and restless, in line with the fact that cultivation is the happiest and hardest thing in the world, and it is also the most complicated thing, to this point, I don't know how many ups and downs I have experienced, I don't know how many ups and downs I have experienced, and there are many more, the scenes of the battle are still vivid, and there are many beautiful lives, echoing in my mind.

In the face of the shortness of life and the strangeness of the world, when you come to this small place of residence, there are so many kinds of little dragons, and you can't help but marvel at the inheritance of this creature is very powerful.

After drinking too much immortal wine, I can't help but think of the initial emotion and recall the previous scenes.

Cultivators all over the world have a heart that yearns for a better life, and this heart is always influencing people themselves.

Zhang Xuanchu said: The five kinds of minds of those who learn the Tao are mainly the following five kinds of minds: the first is to be anxious for life and death; the second is to know that the body is the foundation of suffering, and the heart is the foundation of delusional karma; third, we must really see through it, the world's fame, wealth, reputation, lust and profit, are all vain and untrue; fourth, we must be afraid that we will create bad karma in this life, and we will fall into hell in the future, suffer all kinds of suffering, and no one will help them; fifth, we must know the root of our life now, and it is only a breath.

If a person who learns the Tao has these five kinds of minds, he will naturally be indifferent to all the current vain realms, his heart will be naturally pure, and his heart will be strong for a long time. I would like to give a brief discussion of these five minds, hoping that it will be enlightening to all of you.

After saying this, several dragons joined in the preaching, and the two elders sat beside them to listen to the sermon, and the other dragons heard that someone was preaching, and they all came to listen to the sermon. In this place where there are no scriptures, no literature and no knowledge, it is the first thing in tens of thousands of years to be able to listen to people preach, and many dragon people are powerful in their own right, but they do not have Dao heart cultivation, and they can listen to the sermon, which is really the joy of all people.

Zhang Xuanchu said: The first kind of mind is to learn the Tao for the sake of life and death, in order to stop troubles and life and death. If people live in the world, they have to go through a lot of hardships and sufferings, and if they don't cherish their lives, they will be reincarnated in the five realms in the future, seeking an indefinite period of suffering.

From the very beginning of one's initiation, a person should recognize the suffering of the cycle of birth and death, so that he can truly have compassion for life and death. Only when the heart for life and death is firm, will the learner be free from distractions and concentrate on studying. In the process of studying, the Taoist can more deeply understand the filth of the world and the contradictions and sufferings of the world, so that he can initiate the heart of renunciation.

The second kind of mind is to know that the body is the root of suffering, and the mind is the foundation of delusional karma, and the cultivator should cultivate the Tao seriously, always think of the body as the source of suffering, let his happiness start from the heart, think of the various sufferings he has suffered in the five turbid and evil worlds, and increase his Dao thoughts even more, so as to be positive and achieve success as soon as possible. At the same time, the body is the source of suffering, and the human mind is also the root of delusions and negative karma. If a practitioner does not have a firm determination to follow the path, he will easily be captured by all kinds of temptations from the outside world, and thus see different thoughts. If a practitioner is unable to stop his mind during the practice, he will be bound by delusions. If the delusions that arise are evil thoughts, they will become the root cause of karma, and sometimes they will be driven by evil thoughts to create all kinds of negative karma, and if they fail to learn the path, they will fall.

Therefore, in the proverb of liberation, it is said: Sin begins with the heart and the heart is confessed, and when the heart is destroyed, the sin is forgotten. The heart forgets sins and destroys both emptiness, which is called true repentance. Therefore, only when those who learn the Tao extinguish their delusional minds can they truly concentrate on the Tao.

The third kind of heart is to see through, fame and wealth, reputation and profit, all vanity and untruth, fame and wealth, reputation and wealth, all of which are loved by people, and few people can see through them. We often say "fame and fortune are chains", which means that fame and fortune are like reins and shackles that bind people's freedom and make them unable to get free. If we can look down on some of these fame and fortunes, we will have a relaxed and fun life. However, in this era full of desire and the pursuit of enjoyment, when people's desires are never satisfied, perhaps under the influence of traditional thinking, fame and fortune have become the goal of people's struggle and the purpose of life.

Throughout the history of the Yuan Dynasty, how many heroes and how many literati and writers have ended up depressed, helpless and sad because of the pursuit of fame and fortune. Whether it is officialdom, business, or other social circles, the successful and the rising to the top are a minority after all, so the tragedies of being trapped and defeated by fame and fortune are performed in life.

Fame and fortune can indeed bring many benefits to a person. The proper pursuit of fame and fortune is often easy to inspire people to rise up and serve the society. However, if you want to live a good life in the world, you might as well lighten the weight of fame and fortune, look at fame and fortune, and look down on fame and fortune, so as to live the true colors of life, not to worry about fame and small profits, and not to be fluttering because of fame and fortune, you must know that all this is illusory and unreal.

As a person who learns the Tao, when facing fame and wealth, the first thing should be to think that even if a person has more wealth and no matter how high his popularity, he will eventually leave me, and there is no real existence. When a person who learns the Tao sees through fame and fortune, he will not be tempted by fame and fortune, and then he will be able to practice with peace of mind.

The fourth type of mind is to fear the negative karma created in this life, and that those who will fall into hell and be reborn as inferior beings in the future will not be rescued, and those who have learned the Tao should know the cause and effect. In the process of studying the Dao, we should always keep cause and effect in mind, and always remember the truth that good is rewarded with good and evil is rewarded with evil. In our daily spiritual life, we should always think that if we do all kinds of negative karma, we will suffer from different circumstances, or all kinds of suffering in hell in future lives or lifetimes. If a cultivator is able to constantly think about the various sufferings of the beings in the hells, and if there is no one to save them from suffering after being reborn in the hells, the desire for the world's desires and the six dusts will be greatly reduced, and the thoughts of creating negative karma will be extinguished at once.

At the same time, their good thoughts and good deeds also increase, planting good roots for their future, and they will also stay away from suffering in the future.

The fifth kind of mind is to know the root of the present life, and if this breath is broken between these breaths, then it is impossible to seek the blessings of participating in Zen meditation and learning the Tao today, and it will never be sought, and it will be used and rich? Human life is actually very fragile, and if one breath does not come, the first period of life will end.

As the saying goes, "there are no young and old people on the Huangquan Road, and most of the lonely graves are young people", look at the people around us, there are young people who died young, there are people who die young, and it is not easy for people to live to old age.

The lives of people and all things are so fragile that natural and man-made disasters, poverty and diseases may take people's lives at any time. For life to be so short and fragile, we should cherish life, make good use of it to cultivate the path, and not put off all the things we are doing until tomorrow, you know, "Tomorrow after tomorrow, tomorrow is so many." I'm going to live tomorrow, and everything will come to ......"

Once a learner loses his life and wants to practice diligently, he will no longer have such an opportunity, let alone enjoy a life of glory and wealth. These are the five kinds of minds that a learner should have.

These five kinds of minds are not only an encouragement to those who are on the path, but also a warning to practitioners today. I hope that those who have learned the Tao in this world will think more about these five kinds of minds when their bodies and minds are relaxed, and you will definitely be able to restrain yourself from the precipice and care about the Tao.

One of the dragons asked, "What is hell, we don't have hell here, what is hell?" ”

Zhang Xuanchu said: "The hellers, all the ordinary beings who die, the place where all people and all things are going to go after death, all those who are born, old, sick and die, all enter the hell safely, report to the priests inside, and then go to every place to reincarnate in the distribution position." And those who do evil will suffer from hell in hell, and from then on, the spirit will punish the suffering of sin, which is terrifying. When I look at this world, there is a way of hell, but the way of hell here, I don't know why it is. ”

A beautiful dragon girl asked, "Are men and women the same for those who learn the Tao, how can people and dragons tell how to cultivate the Tao, and is the Tao the same as cultivating immortals?" ”

Zhang Xuanchu said with a smile: "Those who learn the Tao are cultivators, and the so-called cultivators are the process on the road taken by cultivators, and they learn the Tao for it." Both men and women walk in the same way, and it is the same principle for men to walk the way with their body and mind, and for women to walk with their mind and body. The dragon clan, but also the human way of cultivating is very few, all changes do not deviate from their ancestors, throughout the world, all dragon cultivators, also often do merit and do good deeds, accumulate merit first. ”

The dragon man asked, "What kind of dragon is doing such a thing, and is it effective for cultivation?"

Zhang Xuanchu said: "Before I cultivated, I heard a story that said that on a small river, the water was turbulent, and no one could cross it, blocking the people coming and going on both sides. After seeing a dragon, swim to this place, use the body to change into a bridge, for people on both sides to come and go, after changing the bridge themselves, you can also sleep and cultivate, for many years, after hundreds of years, one day the heavenly official came to report to it, saying that it has immeasurable merits, ascending to the palace of the dragon god in the heavenly realm, and managing the fish of all living beings in the world. ”
