Chapter Ninety-Eight: A Book and Two Letters
After sitting on the floor for a while, I began to wonder if I wasn't looking for it carefully enough. So, he got up from the ground, picked up the box, and poured it down, and the whole box of things was scattered all over the floor with a loud noise.
I didn't care where my favorite marbles went, so I threw myself on the pile of books and flipped over.
By the time I got to the fifth turn, I had completely given up hope.
"Xiao Yuan, what are you flipping?"
I looked back and saw that my father was opening the curtain and looked at the house in amazement.
I stood up and pretended to be calm and said, "I, I'm looking for a homework book." ”
My grandfather laughed when he heard this. He pointed to my desk and said, "Isn't there a stack of homework books on the desk?"
I was thinking about how to answer my grandfather's words, when he took something out of his back and said, "Are you looking for this?"
When I saw it, it was the big envelope that my father had given me.
My grandfather handed me the envelope and said, "Keep your belongings." Yesterday I saw your brother rummaging through something in the box and turned this out. He wanted to open it, but I stopped him, so I kept it for you for the time being. This should be given to you by the old enemy. ”
I nodded.
My father said: "I know that there are many secrets between you and Lao Qiu, so open it and take a look while there is no one at home." I'm going up the hill, I'll lock the door for you later, and I'll put the key through the crack in the door, and if they come back, you can put it back in for them. ”
After saying that, he put down the curtain and left.
When my grandfather walked by the window, I couldn't help but shout, "Lord, thank you." ”
A voice came from outside the window: "This baby, when will you learn to be polite to your family." Then I heard the sound of the door locking.
I couldn't wait to open the envelope, which contained a book and a smaller one.
There were no words written on the small envelope, the book was not made of paper, but by Bo Juan, with a blue cover with a long white frame on the cover, which should be the place where the title of the book should be inscribed, but there were no words. Flipping through the cover, there are three big characters written on the title page: Xuanmen Technique.
My heart trembled, remembering the story told by my father before, isn't this one of the treasures that Uncle Bo Yi gave to the woodcutter, that is, the first generation of Guzhu Gong!
I opened the page and looked at it, and there were strange words written in it, but I didn't recognize any of them.
I set the book aside and opened the small envelope, which contained two letters, one in a thick wad and one with only two pages.
I opened a thick one that read: Sailor's grandson. I thought my dad wanted me to hand it over to the sailors, so I quickly folded it again.
I took out the second two-page letter and looked at it, and it had my name written on it. That's when I read it carefully.
The letter says:
"Xiao Yuan:
This farewell, although it is not far from the mountains and roads, it is also separated by two places. The truth in the heart cannot be given up, but the world changes, and it is impossible for human beings to turn it around.
In my life, I have been mediocre, and there are only two things that make me feel that it is not all meaningless to live in the world for decades.
The first thing is to guard your Uncle Shiwa's family all your life, and you can see that they are safe and healthy, especially the sailors, although they are not intelligent, but they are also diligent and studious, and they may be able to make a difference in the future.
The second thing is to find a successor for the Xuanmen. This is my luck, and it is also the luck of the Xuanmen and the world.
Attached to the letter is the Xuanjiao canon "Xuanmen Technique", this scripture came from Dongyi, and then brought to the West by Boyi Shuqi, and was passed on to the first generation of the ancestor of Shouyang in Shouyang Mountain. Since then, it has become the treasure of Zhenshan in the first vein of Xuanjiao Shouyang Mountain, and it is also the first holy relic of Xuanjiao in the world.
In the past dynasties, although there were several saints, in order to preach the needs of the mission, the righteousness and principles of the "Xuanmen Technique" were copied and passed on to the Xuanjiao courts of various ethnic groups, but the Xuanfa part only existed in this book.
There are only two drafts of the whole "Xuanmen Technique" in the world. When Uncle Boyi passed it to the ancestor Gong, the ancestor saw that it was all Dongyi characters, and he didn't know Dongyi characters, so he devoted himself to learning Dongyi characters and learned them in 20 years. After completing his studies, he transcribed a draft of "Xuanmen Technique" in Western Zhou script, and sealed the original manuscript into the Shenjian Cave together with Jinyun Divine Sword.
This Western Zhou Dynasty script "Xuanmen Technique" has been passed down from generation to generation and has become a symbol of the lord of Xuanmen in Shouyang Mountain.
"When the ancestor taught me this scripture, it was because Xuanyuan showed that I would be the successor of the Lord of Shouyang Mountain in the future.
Now that I think about it, there is nothing wrong with what Xuanyuan shows, but we all misunderstood, I am not the successor of the Lord of Shouyang Mountain, but the one who can find the true inheritor.
Now, my mission is complete. I have entrusted this sutra to you, and you must practice diligently before you can take on great responsibilities in the future.
The Chinese characters in the book are the ancient Zhou of the Western Zhou Dynasty, and you and I cannot read them. Shi Zu had long expected this, and his old man spent decades of energy sorting out the words that appeared in the book in order, a total of 18,000 words, all of which were marked in the present text and attached to the back of the book, totaling 27 pages.
You can refer to the attached pages and transcribe the whole text into the present text and then study it while learning the ancient Chinese language. However, it is important to remember that neither the ancient Western Zhou Dynasty nor the modern texts can be circulated. When you are able to read the ancient texts in the future, be sure to destroy the present texts.
While cultivating the Xuanfa, there is one thing that is also very important, and that is to follow your sixth master to practice the exercises.
That set of exercises, is the ancestor combined with the implementation of the Xuanfa needs to personally create, it contains a lot of ways to cooperate with the Xuanfa, learning the exercises, will be of great benefit to the mastery of the Xuanfa, in the future in the use of the Xuanfa will also be handy.
Your sixth master is the deepest in martial arts and wisdom among all the disciples of the ancestor, and he has the best practice of the exercises, which is also a platform near the water for you, so you must make good use of it.
The other letter is for the sailors, but you can read it first, and then take it to the sailors when no one else is there, and when you have read it, burn it immediately, along with the letter. ”
The letter is unsigned and undated.
I opened the thick letter again. It reads:
"Sailor's grandson:
Please forgive me for not saying goodbye.
Leaving tomorrow, I'll ask your parents not to see each other off, and let them not tell you when I'm leaving. It's because I've experienced too many partings in my life, and I'm afraid of parting scenes.
I am not a good husband, not a good father, and not a good grandfather.
However, if your family can live in peace and harmony, I have nothing to worry about.
There's one thing I think you're going to have to face after all. Now you are not too young and have your own opinions, so through this long letter, I want to tell you something that may be beyond your imagination and ability to accept.
It's not a story, it's something that has happened and is happening. I hope you can be patient and read it through. If you can't accept it for a while, you can also read it as a story for the time being.
First of all, I want to tell you that the world is not what we see it is, at least the world we see is not the whole of the real world.
Where we can't see, there are many human realms that are the same as the world we know, which we collectively call the secret world. On the other hand, the world that we can see is called the manifest world.
There are many human races in the secret world, and these races are hidden deep underground, or hidden in the jungle, or isolated in the desert, or isolated abroad. Each group has a different shape and is different from our appearance. But they, like us, are descendants of the gods, real people.
Among these secret tribes is a human race called the Drought Fish, who live in the southwestern secret forest, and share that forest with the manifest people for thousands of years, but they have never disturbed the manifest people, and no one knows of their existence, except for a few special people, of course.
More than fifty years ago, the six-year-old daughter of the leader of the Drought Tribe, the sole heir of the leader of the Drought Tribe, disappeared. She was exiled into our world.
Fifteen years later, the twenty-one-year-old princess returned to the Drought Tribe, and she married the boy who had sent her back to her own people.
They thought they could live happily ever after.
But the good times did not last long, and half a month later, the drought people encountered a great disaster.
The boy and the princess of the Drought Tribes left the Drought Tribes one after another, and returned to the place where the two grew up together.
The boy was imprisoned for unexplained things, and was finally sentenced to death.
But at that time, the princess was already pregnant.
The princess's adoptive mother in the world was very anxious, because the princess married the young man, the people around her could not know, she didn't want her daughter to give birth to a child in vain, ruining her name.
In the same village lived a man who had tuberculosis since he was a child and had not yet married a wife in his forties.
In the early years, there was a plague in the area, and the princess's adoptive mother saved the whole family of the craftsman. In gratitude, the craftsman found the princess's adoptive mother and said that he could help.
The princess's adoptive mother asked him how he could help.
The craftsman said that he could make a false marriage with the princess, and after the marriage, let the princess live in his house, and when the princess gave birth, he wrote a letter of divorce, pretending to divorce the princess. In this way, the princess's reputation can be preserved.
The princess's adoptive mother had no choice but to agree. But the princess refused to agree.
Later, the adoptive mother forcibly sent the princess to the craftsman's house, pretending to worship the church and become a relative.
The princess had no choice but to settle down in the craftsman's house, and since then she has formed a grudge against her adoptive mother.
Eight months later, the princess gave birth to a baby boy.
When the boy was half a year old, before he could write a letter of resignation, the craftsman fell ill and died.
From then on, no one could write a letter of divorce, and the fake marriage became a real widow, and the princess stayed in the craftsman's house.
Later, the boy was not shot, and returned to the village a few years later.
The princess wanted to live with the teenager again, but in the secular environment at that time, the teenager felt that even if he was with the princess, he would not have a normal life at the risk of being scolded by the world, not to mention that for a child who was just five or six years old, it could bring a lifetime of stigma.
The boy refused, but he promised that he would silently protect their mother and son in secret for the rest of his life.
But the princess washed her face with tears every day, and she felt that it was too unfair to the boy. Later, she also persuaded the older teenager many times to find someone to form a family again, and not to live alone all the time, but the teenager always insisted on being alone. ”
Halfway through reading, I suddenly heard a noise at the door, and I quickly put the "Xuanmen Technique" and the two letters into a large envelope, carried them in my arms, and ran out to open the door.
