Most of the demons are cultivated by animals, such as snake demons, free demons, fox demons, weasels, roe deer, tigers, turtles and other animals; when they have cultivated supernatural powers, people call them demon beasts, and those who often make merits and do good deeds for the toiling people in the lower realms are called divine beasts. From ancient times to the present, the strange monsters are all innate and natural demon beasts and divine beasts, and they are inherently powerful, and they are naturally powerful without cultivation. Most of the monsters are cultivated from plants, such as tree monsters, grass monsters, flower monsters, etc. But this is not absolute, if they do not cultivate well, do not do evil deeds in the world, and strive to make merits, the laws of heaven and earth, have classified them into the list of immortals, immortal trees, immortal fruits, flower immortals, etc., when they have attained the perfection of merit, they can also become the administrators of the heavenly palace.

Demonic malignancy is evil, irrational, impulsive, and violent. The expansion of Buddha nature and Tao nature replaces all human nature, that is, Buddha is Tao, and finally immortal. ”

"And the demonic nature swells and completely replaces the human nature, which is the demon. Therefore, a person can become both a Buddha and a demon. When any kind of human desire and attachment expands and causes people to lose their minds, they may become a kind of demonic nature. A thought of good and evil. When a person's mind is not correct and his demonic nature is attacked, he will incur demons from another dimension, or the inner and outer demons within nine days, etc., to further guide and strengthen his demonic nature, so that he will completely fall into the demonic path and become a real demon. The inner demon yin demon attracts the outer demon yang demon. Therefore, the great evil things that ordinary people in society do that destroy the cause of mankind are actually done by the demons of another dimension who use their demonic nature to manipulate them. ”

"The devil always appears as a hypocrisy, trying by all means to seduce, indulge, and strengthen people's demonic nature, so that they can do evil endlessly and infinitely, so that they too will become demons, and they will be in the company of demons and fall into hell forever. On the contrary, in order to transform sentient beings, the gods and Buddhas always inspire and guide people's Buddha nature, mindfulness, and good hearts, restrain and control people's demonic nature, evil thoughts, and greed, so that the mind is constantly sublimated, free from human suffering, ascended to heaven, and also became immortals, gods and Buddhas. ”

Ying Zhao said: "Although the demon is fierce and evil, the laws of the universe are destined to be higher than the Immortal Buddha Dao. "The road is one foot high, the magic is one foot high", this is a Buddhist term, the original meaning is to say that it is always higher than the devil, a foot of the Tao can offset the devil of a zhang, and the evil does not suppress the good. There is also a layer of meaning: the higher the line, the greater the difficulty. Anyway, this is what a cultivator said. But later when it was used in the mouths of ordinary people, the meaning changed, and it became a shallow demon high, and the wicked gained power. Therefore, some people simply changed this sentence to "the magic is one foot high, the road is one foot high", in fact, it is to restore the original meaning of "the road is one foot high, the magic is one foot high".
