Chapter 61: The Other Side of the Sea of Suffering
When Yuntian woke up, the team was already halfway through, and the speed was slow, the carriage creaked in bursts, and the horses snorted incessantly.
Through the gap in the curtain, there were countless carriages piled up with large and small boxes outside, and the procession was stretched a lot, and there was no end in sight.
There was a slight sound of conversation in the front of the car into the chamber, and it was the old man who was explaining to a few young officials who were riding horses beside him, telling them to arrive in Chang'an in a while, how to deal with the grain and grass, and to manage the internal affairs of the city.
The others were scattered in the front and back of the procession, ropes attached to each of the carriages, but they were still uneasy, always checking back and forth without interruption.
At this time, the sun was setting, and several bright stars had already appeared in the sky, and the surroundings became dim, and torches were lit in the ranks one after another.
Listening to the conversation between the old man and the young officials, Yun Tian had something else in his heart at the moment, and he unconsciously recalled Fang Cai's dream.
It's not that I haven't dreamed before, and even if I have fulfilled the person of the creator god, I still dream when I should have dreamed, especially when I am about to wake up in the early morning.
However, this dream is particularly special, firstly, the scene in the dream is extremely detailed, and after waking up, I can clearly remember every detail, which seems to mean something, just like something hidden in the depths of my subconscious, which is clearly taken out and placed in front of my eyes.
Unlike when I usually dream, there is only a vague image, and I forget it when I wake up, leaving only a trace of inexplicable emotions.
Moreover, Yuntian was in a dream, and finally became a monk, and Yuntian at that time, now that he thinks about it, he is not at all like his usual self. It's just that Yuntian at that time had a completely different thinking mode from his usual self, as if he was another personality.
At that time, I saw through the appearance of people and me, and understood what it means to be selfless and unselfish, and after that, I seemed to have the ability to easily control my thoughts, and the illusions in my mind became something that could be changed at will.
But it was in a dream, and when I woke up, the clouds were back to normal. If you don't meditate in a quiet and stable environment for a while, you won't be able to empty your head, let alone control your thoughts at will.
And the so-called selfless phase, no one phase, is also comprehended by that Yuntian, now that I think about it, I can only understand the literal meaning, and I don't have a real understanding.
It's as if the final realization is also a fantasy, which is the emotional compensation for the lack of self that I have been asking for for days after days.
As the old saying goes, think about it during the day, dream about it at night, and the more you lack something on weekdays, the more likely it will appear in your dreams, so as to satisfy yourself temporarily.
It seems that this sentence can also be placed on top of Yuntian Fangcai's dream, if this is really the case, then it can also make sense.
However, after thinking about it carefully, Yun Tian felt that things were not so simple.
You must know that when people comprehend something, the kind of lucidity that people produce cannot appear in dreams. Once it appears, it means that the person's mind is clear, which means that the dream will dissipate, which means that the person will open his eyes in the next second.
However, when Yuntian comprehended the selfless phase before, he already had a sense of wakefulness, but he did not wake up immediately, but after comprehending the non-selfless phase, he experienced a dream change. And after that, the dream subsided, and his perspective rose sharply, only to remember that the image of the other side of the Buddha's light disappeared, and his sense of existence also disappeared, and he entered a stage of dreamless sleep, and then he woke up.
It's as if you were in a dream when you fell asleep, not when you were about to wake up.
Under such a reversal, Yuntian came to an extremely exciting conclusion.
The dream is illusory, but the perception is true!
Filled with confidence, he started from the beginning and carefully reviewed his dreams, trying to find the things that the dream imagery projected in reality, so as to find a way to the lost state of mind.
It's like a post-match review to find out the key points that have been overlooked.
First of all, the first scene in my dream is a struggle in the wind and waves, and since it is a struggle, then the wind and waves represent the dilemma in reality.
The clouds are dim, and there are vortices in them, as if they want to suck themselves into them, which corresponds to an experience hidden deep in the memory of Yun Tian. That should be the profound lesson that he almost planted in the hands of the eternal boss of the Marvel Universe earlier.
And the mysterious gaze in the depths of the seabed is probably from Poseidon, who occupies one of his own bodies, before being shattered by the sea god Kolybusso in the Caribbean world, a gaze that almost left a psychological shadow on himself.
And what does it mean that both are part of a dilemma?
I am afraid that I have already subconsciously worried about the dangers I may encounter in the future, and eternity and Poseidon are just symbols of countless dangers that may appear in the future, and they are images that are revealed to the outside.
Then, he steers the boat to avoid danger and sail to the other side of safety, so that the boat can be seen as his own reliance, reflected in reality, that is the transcendent system, or the laws of the heavens.
The other side of the distance, undisturbed by the wind and waves, is the land of bliss, which represents one's great freedom and great liberation.
From this point of view, this opening scene can be summed up by a Buddhist saying, that is, crossing the sea of suffering and landing on the other side.
This also coincides with the appearance of the two sweeping monks in the back, as well as their own achievements as Buddhas, and their feet become the other side.
And before the two old monks appeared, there was another point worth paying attention to, that is, how could they not get close to the other side and escape the predicament.
Imprinted into reality, even if you can't penetrate the selfless and unselfed appearance, you can't see the no-self and no-human appearance, so the first time you try to master the transcendent path, you are stuck halfway.
The previous months of struggle, until the end, did not come to the results I wanted. It was only at the beginning of the stage that I encountered such an almost insoluble dilemma, which was a big blow to me for several days, otherwise I would not have felt powerless in my dreams.
On the other hand, the other side of the dream is reflected in reality, and the immediate goal is to break the bottleneck, that is, to understand the Buddha's principles and learn the Yijin Sutra.
In addition, the other side can turn the wind and waves into the invisible, therefore. If we take a long-term view, it is to achieve a truly omniscient and all-powerful creator god, above the heavens, and at that time, no matter how powerful the existence is, it will not pose a threat to itself, so it can be regarded as resolving the possibility of danger.
After that, it seems that you want to give up, and the vortex that is getting stronger and stronger above your head at that time may refer to the self who gives up moving forward in reality, the irresistible dangers that you may encounter in the future, or the final destruction of the heavens.
The first act came to an abrupt end at this point, because the appearance of the two old monks was so abrupt.
One of them is an old monk who has achieved merit through the clouds, and the other is the master of the old monk and the sweeping monk of the year. And the reason why the sweeping monk is the appearance in the TV series is that I haven't seen him before, so I copied the deepest impression of the sweeping monk in my memory and attached it to his body.
Then the sweeping monk's sentence "I am who the donor thinks I am" can be understood.
Yuntian guessed that the sudden appearance of the two monks mostly reflected his psychology of needing help when he was unable to support himself. And because the difficulties they encountered were the Yijin Sutra of Buddhism, and the two of them left relics for themselves, which gave them a great help, so the so-called help at this time appeared in the form of these two people.
Of course, Yun Tian thought that they might really be the thoughts of the two monks who had attained the right results to stay in the relics. But as soon as this speculation appeared, it was vetoed by Yuntian.
Just because the light of creation has the ability to be inviolable, Yun Tian had tried to withdraw his consciousness into the glazed blood earlier, but he didn't see any other thoughts being expelled, so he decided that these relics were really just pure perceptions, and then disappeared completely.
This also corresponds to the words of the two monks, one of them said, "Yes, I'm leaving", and then both said, "The donor is too worried, there is only you here".
It follows from this that these two people, together with the surrounding scenes and the self in the dream, are all thoughts in their heads, everything is themselves, so where is the self at this time?
Thinking of the following scenes, Yun Tian suddenly realized that the real self in the dream should be the perspective from which he observed the dream, both in the boat and in the monk's robe.
Why is there such an inference, it is only because Yun Tian remembered that his perspective was suddenly raised before the dream subsided, and then he thought of the scene when his own existence also changed after the previous perspective was changed, that he discovered the key.
In contrast to dreams, Yuntian's self is an object.
Thinking of this, Yuntian couldn't help but think about the relationship between perception and perspective transformation.
Just because the perception is generated by the monk's robe Yuntian, the Yuntian who took the boat was just tired and sank into the sea of suffering.
If the cloud sky on the boat is his own feeling about his recent situation, then what does the monk's robe cloud sky refer to?
Yuntian recalled that the monk's robe Yuntian was formed by the overlap of two monks. From a subconscious point of view, those two monks represent Yuntian's self-salvation, and in addition to the fact that they have a certain amount of intelligence and complete rationality, Yuntian suddenly thought of a word, reason!
This is probably the last crisis juncture, in order to save one's sunken consciousness, the pure reason that bursts out of the subconscious.
Reason leads oneself and allows oneself to understand that this is a dream, so as to relieve the false sense of crisis, and then eliminate the sinking sense of one's own consciousness, and play a role in calming the state of mind.
In dreams, this is a passive behavior, a subconscious feeling of the existence of danger, in the case of not being able to distinguish whether the danger is real or false, just in case, and then triggering a psychological self-protection mechanism, with pure reason to achieve the purpose of self-redemption.
When you wake up, you will encounter something difficult, and then comfort yourself and explain yourself. But this is an active behavior, because it is an act that is produced under the control of one's own subjective consciousness.
And he will have this kind of dream, the root of it is still the bottleneck encountered in reality, the rational Yuntian knows that saving the standard for a while will not play a decisive role, and the anxiety and frustration in his heart will not disappear with knowing that he is just dreaming.
Therefore, in the end, the two monks merged into one and turned into a monk's robe Yuntian, on the one hand, it is to let Yuntian change his way of thinking, and on the other hand, it is to give himself a hint when he wakes up, if he wants to break through the bottleneck, he needs to change his way of thinking.
In this way, the monk's robe Yuntian is actually the other side of his own personality, and he is the self who takes Buddhism as the fundamental logic of thinking, or it can be said that it is my Buddha Yuntian.
Therefore, there is a scene where you become a Buddha on the ground, and the other side is under your feet.
A different way of thinking can break through the dilemma, that is, break through the bottleneck and achieve the goal.
From this, Yun Tian suddenly came to an astonishing conclusion.
He had also thought that if he wanted to practice a different transcendent path, he might have to accept a different concept if he had a body of another race other than a human body.
But there is a conflict between ideas, just like Buddhism is idealism, and Yuntian himself until now, subconsciously still uses a materialist way of thinking, and has always been unable to understand the truth of idealism.
So this is why he thinks he has read a lot of Buddhist scriptures and understood a lot of Buddhist principles, but he can't always break through the truth that there is no self and no one.
Just because he did not really take Buddhism as the fundamental guiding ideology of his words and deeds, he deliberately vaguely or distorted some places that conflicted with his own way of thinking. Even if you don't do this, you only understand the Buddha's teachings literally, and you don't really agree with it in your heart. Therefore, when understanding the truth in the Buddhist scriptures and the perception in the mind, it is like watching a fire from the other side, and it is always impossible to understand it thoroughly, that is, it cannot be logical and self-consistent as the saying goes.
Without a Buddha heart, how can we fully understand the Buddha's principles?
Therefore, the feelings of those relics are always hovering in my mind, just because I have not accepted them wholeheartedly and turned them into my own things. Because of this, I have read countless Buddhist scriptures and done countless debates before, which can be regarded as a waste of work.
Earlier, the genes of all things were obtained, and the characteristic of genetic diversity itself was used to lay the foundation for countless transcendent paths.
Now, by becoming a single personality and becoming multifaceted, you will further broaden the range of transcendent paths that you can learn.
However, it is easier said than done, because this is a complete self-denial and remodeling, negating oneself with a materialist viewpoint, reshaping Yuntian with an idealistic viewpoint, that is, bringing the monk's robe Yuntian in the dream world to reality.
Doing so is equivalent to breaking and then standing, just like the star master in the movie Kung Fu, first the whole body was fractured, the meridians were broken, and then because of the opening of the second vein of Rendu, the muscles and bones were reshaped, and the cocoon turned into a butterfly.
However, for Yuntian, the present is a psychological dismantling and reconstruction, which is much more painful and dangerous than the physical reconstruction. If something goes wrong, the lightest result is to produce a new personality, but even this is completely unacceptable to Yuntian.
But fortunately, Yun Tian can skip the step of self-denial, because his dream is extremely clear, and the unique feeling of incarnating into a monk's robe Yun Tian before is still deeply hidden in his heart.
He can rely on this feeling to directly draw out the Buddha Yuntian that has been hidden in the heart and has long been shaped by pure reason, which means to awaken the Buddha's mind and realize direct replacement, without the need for self-denial.
Thinking of this, Yun Tian was about to experience the feeling in his dream, when he suddenly noticed that the carriage under him stopped.
Thinking through the joints, Yun Tian was no longer in a hurry, and through the gap in the curtain, he saw the wide city gate in front of him, with the word Chang'an written on it.
It turns out that now that we have arrived in Chang'an City, it is no longer the time to deal with our own passes.
It's just dim all around, and even with torches, it still can't illuminate the whole team. Seeing under the city gate, Yun Tian used his superhuman senses and looked around, wanting to confirm the status of the team.
But just when his eyes swept to a certain place outside the city, he seemed to have found something, and Yun Tian's mind turned to lightning, and he couldn't help but sneer: "Heh!
