Feng Tui testimonials
Sealed and pushed.
The front page is closed, which is an official recognition of the author's achievements at the starting point, and the fact that the work can be displayed here shows that it shows ...... Damn, when I say this, Bourdieu's "Speech on Speeches" always pops up in my head, and I can't go on for a moment.
All in all, I'm happy.
Along the way, although there have been many ups and downs, I am proud and touched by the fact that readers have always been there for me.
When the collection was less than 100, nine readers joined the book friend group to discuss the plot and blow water and fart, which gave me a considerable part of the motivation in my monotonous life, supporting me to record and show the story of the next chapter.
Until now, there are more than 500 book friends in the group, and there are many more book friends who have not joined the group, supporting this work, the world, and the lives of these characters in various ways.
It is an honor to fight alongside you.
I can't say how fast I can write or how much I can update, but I try to make sure that every chapter is written at the best possible level.
I don't have the confidence to change 10,000 words a day, but I have the persistence to polish 3,000 words in seven hours.
In addition, I would like to give special thanks to the editor in charge of this book, Qingmang.
As mentioned earlier, it was he who picked up this street book from the garbage heap and signed the contract.
I won't say anything about his recommendation so I'm grateful for that.
I'll just say one thing.
In the course of ten months, Qingmang continued to use methods such as agitation, encouragement, threats, inducements, and pleadings to carry out inhumane ...... on Wujian Urging.
That's right, a large part of the reason why the unstable Wujian has come to this day is due to the perseverance of the editor.
Here, I will take a part of what Qingmang said on QQ:
"Don't stop changing, hey"
"Can't you divide the 6,000-word update into two days, try not to break it?"
"It's better to code a few words if you have this time"
"I really want to scold my mother when you break the shift"
"I haven't started pushing yet, you're underestimating yourself"
"Write it well, "xxxx" was written with you, and now the monthly manuscript fee is more than 10,000"
"The income is still a lot, you can concentrate on writing, don't break my play"
"I'll calculate for you that you have updated 270,000 words in two months, and the average in a month is 135,000, which is 4,000 words a day, and you can update the stability point"
"Sword of the Street!"
"You can at least try updating it for a week!"
"Why don't you just drop it to my eunuch, I'm upset when I look at it."
"Can't you update 3,000 words a day? You can't give a recommendation if you want to."
"I didn't give up on you when you pounced on a dog"
"We've known each other for a day or two, and if you don't update, I don't have any benefit, I just think it's a pity for a book."
"You're finally up to date! I'm so moved, I'm crying."
"Master, you're the author!"
"Update more, your book has a lot of potential"
"Why do I care more about my work than you?"
"You're now the eleventh in the monthly pass, go, and the tenth chrysanthemum has exploded"
"I'll change the title of the book for you, let's call it "Broken Roots"
"The only requirement is, don't break the update during the closure period, otherwise you will really be blocked"
"It's up to you to update!"
These words speak for themselves.
My gratitude to Qingmang is self-evident.
Wujian doesn't often expose his private thoughts on the Internet, but after a year of writing, and he has a deep relationship with his book friends, it's time to say something from his heart.
The birth of "Kingdom Bloodline" originated a long time ago, but it was an accident that it was actually written.
Many years ago, when Wujian was in high school, he was most fascinated by fantasy literature, and three of my classmates and I made an enthusiastic appointment to create a fantasy together after graduation.
I was probably one of the most active of them all, and even made a historical chronology and a draft map (yes, the crude and childish hand-drawn map on Weibo).
However, after the college entrance examination, the four of us just met in a hurry at McDonald's, laughed together for an afternoon, and then it was over.
Later, the four of them went their separate ways and had their own lives, and one of them was no longer alive.
Although they kept in touch, no one talked about it again, and the enthusiasm and impulse that had cooled down, and I wasn't even sure if they remembered the agreement.
Because even I almost forgot about myself.
It wasn't until many years later, in the summer of 2016.
I remember that day, I received a rejection letter for my Ph.D. application.
That was the last school on the list.
For a person who has aspired and always believed that he wants to follow the path of academic research, the frustration of his future is still very real.
In the early hours of that morning, in a depressed mood, I went back to my dorm room with a beer and drank as I sorted out everything in my bookcase—I just felt that the name of each academic book was full of irony.
Probably by chance, in the mezzanine of an old book (Gadamer's Truth and Method), "it" suddenly appeared.
That hand-drawn map from my high school days.
The map I drew but never had a chance to show them.
Looking at the names of places written in pencil many years ago, and the lines drawn inch by inch, I was reminded of that unfinished agreement.
I think of my youth, my interests, and my passion, and I think of someone who has passed away for many years.
I only felt pantothenic acid in my eyes and tightness in my chest.
Have mixed feelings about.
Maybe it's time.
I told myself.
Regain that promise and regain your dreams.
Even if I'm the only one left.
So, drunk, I pulled open the keyboard.
In the wee hours of the morning, the first two chapters of "Bloodline of the Kingdom" came out.
The image of the boy huddled in the abandoned house, gritting his teeth and struggling to survive, appeared in front of my eyes for the first time.
At that time, everything was still hazy, the world was not clear, and many characters had only a vague face.
It wasn't until I woke up the next day, staring blankly at the big line on the screen that said "Your work has been approved", that I realized what I had done.
I went downstairs and smoked a cigarette (sixteenth relapse) and thought about it for five minutes.
And then it just began.
It wasn't a smooth start to the road.
Maybe many excellent works were signed at the time of 30,000 words or less.
But that's not Kingdom Bloodline.
10,000, 30,000, 50,000, 100,000, 130,000......
It wasn't until 150,000 words that the book waited for an invitation to sign a contract — the editor "picked up the lonely little Tails from the garbage heap" (his exact words).
Just signed a contract, probably because Chapter 6 is often reported, the book has been missing from the website 404 for several days.
370,000 words, three days before it went on sale, the collection of this book was just over 300.
During this period, I experienced a breakup, a defense, graduation, going home, and working.
After it was put on the shelves, the number of readers gradually increased, and more doubts and criticisms followed, and even abuse.
That's when I realized that writing is really tiring.
Do you want to give up?
In the process, similar thoughts have popped into my head more than once.
But my heart always tells me: you love writing, no matter how hard, no matter how tired, no matter how ununderstood, you also have the motivation and reason to persevere.
The author of "Heart Demons", Qin Paper Huaqing once said in the author group: "If you can realize your value while making a living, what is happier in the world than this?"
Quite so.
As my listing testimonial said: bitterness is insignificant, happiness is needless to say.
Whenever there is an idea of giving up, the end of the book, the number of words, and the outline, I will go to the book friend group to have a look, laugh and laugh with everyone, and at the same time convince myself: Look, these pronunciations are all gathered here because of that fantasy and magnificent world, and I look forward to the future of that world with hope.
You can't let them down.
No.
You've got to keep writing.
Keep writing.
One million and three million words to this day.
Straight to the point.
As the first work of a novice, "Bloodline of the Kingdom" is long, the lack of sword and pen power, and the poor rhythm is revealed: in retrospect, the first volume is too sloppy, the second volume is a little taken for granted, the third volume is too miscellaneous and redundant in the front, the back is too big and too wide, the first half of the fourth volume is too urgent, and the second half is too delayed.
Overall, the book still has the problem of too tight pacing and insufficient soothing.
This problem will occur, in fact, it is normal: because from the beginning, Wujian was based on the unit setting in American dramas, episode by episode, season by season, with a compact and continuous plot to spread out the story and the world.
Now it seems that once this kind of writing is stretched, problems of one kind or another will occur, such as reading fatigue.
Trust me, Wujian is trying to solve these problems - and Wujian is someone who likes to go back and change the text every once in a while (smile).
Well, readers, it's still the same old saying: I write well, you read well.
I believe we can find resonance in the book and let each other stimulate some thought, which is more effective communication than many forms of discussion.
I hope everyone comes to the genuine subscription, especially the starting point or QQ reading: believe me, buying the genuine version is addictive.
Finally, post a paragraph from the afterword of "The Prodigal Son of the Border City" as a self-encouragement:
[The conflict of human nature is really a moving factor that cannot be missing in anything.
As a "martial arts writer", I certainly have no objection to attracting readers with treacherous changes, amazing plots, and heroes with prominent personalities. I just felt that there should be something else to give the reader in addition to that, something that could be uplifting.
Something that can make others recognize martial arts as well.
But I also know that new ventures are not only risky, but often thankless.
But I was willing.
Because I am a "writer of martial arts", I always hope that people who write martial arts will also be called "writers" in the future, and will be valued as well as other writers.
I always hope that martial arts will be called "" in the future, and like others, it can be placed in the living room in a grand manner.
