Chapter Thirty-Seven: Will Logs in to the Purple Cloud Star

As soon as Will landed on the Purple Cloud Star, he found himself in a stone forest, where the grass and trees were sparse, and the huge stone pillars stood like giant trees, pointing straight to the sky. Looking at the huge stone pillars, Will felt that the landscape here was very unscientific.

Will was originally reluctant to participate in any 'virtual reality game simulator' project, and in his opinion, the prospect of such a project is not cutting-edge.

But he changed his mind when he was approached by NASA's head of the space migration program, who told Will that the real purpose of the project was not some meaningless virtual game. Instead, it uses virtual reality technology to control humanoid robots launched to Mars or other planets for scientific research and exploration, or directly for base construction.

At first, however the head of NASA's space migration program explained the importance of the technology and the significance of the test, Will felt uninterested, believing that anyone could participate in the testing of such a project, and that he would not need to spend his time on it.

But when the person in charge expressed his willingness to allocate some of the project's funds to Will to support his research project on microscopic quanta, Will wavered. When the person in charge of the space migration project said that he only needed Will to participate in the preliminary research of the project, and to ensure that he would have to land for eight hours after the first landing, and that all the landing times and landing times after that would be decided by him, Will began to accept it a little.

Then the head of the space program made the final killer move. He told Will from the side that in fact, Will could log in for the first time and then not log in to the simulator, just by name.

Will accepted his research project, and the young man who showed superhuman prowess in scientific research also knew something outside of academics.

In his opinion, the significance of his participation in this project is not how much technical help he can provide, but the presence of his name is important to this project.

Looking back on this, Will felt that it would be better for him to be as little involved as possible in the future, but this time his project really needed this funding. Because resources are more important in his country than everything else.

Will felt a little angry when he saw that he didn't have any shelter on him, and he felt that this was an insult to him as a scientific researcher. No matter what the project is, generating a few pieces of clothing in the virtual world is as simple as tapping a finger.

Will was completely wrong about this, except for the female landers. None of the male landers had any clothing or equipment, also due to a lack of resources.

Will looked around for a moment, as a researcher engaged in scientific research. His observation and understanding of things is different from ordinary people, and he finds that both his body and the objects here are too real in texture. Judging from the information he was exposed to, the technological equipment that could realize this kind of technology was not available before. That alone shocked Will, completely leaving a shred of anger behind him.

As Will looked and felt everything in front of him, he had an illusion of being extremely real. He felt like he had traveled to another planet~!

The thought startled it, but it calmed down when he saw the light curtain in front of him and the point of light below the edge of his line of sight.

Will tapped his finger at the point of light, and the properties panel that appeared in front of him convinced him that he wasn't traveling through time, but was in a virtual reality simulator.

But when he himself confirmed his current situation, he became excited again, because the technology was far beyond his knowledge of virtual technology. Will's mind raced as he calculated the amount of computation needed to be able to carry the technology. He found that even the Anton of the supercomputing center was running at full power and was far from being able to carry such a huge amount of computation, and perhaps the current technology is not yet fully mature quantum computers that can cope with the real huge amount of computation. But he really can't accept that a small virtual reality technology will use a quantum computer as a hardware device, even if it is a quantum computer as a hardware device. But how did the program software achieve such a high level of realism?

Many questions continued to form in Will's mind, and these questions seemed to be like a split curve. Once there is one, more will appear in a row, and Will, who is constantly thinking about many questions in his brain, squatted down and picked up some gravel beside him. When the stones entered his palm, Will's face once again had an incredible expression.

Whether it was the touch of the stones he touched or the temperature of the stones, he was extremely shocked, and what made him even more incomprehensible was the rolling of these stones in the center of his palm because of the vibration of his movements. Don't look at it as a simple stone rolling, it seems to him that it is undoubtedly as amazing as God created the world. The scientific fields to be involved include gravity, random variables, biomechanics, geometry and other disciplines, and if a virtual technology has been able to integrate these academic researches, then it is certain that this virtual technology is enough to be called a breakthrough across the ages.

When Will slowly flipped his palm, the stone in his hand slipped from his palm, fell on the rock on the ground, bounced a few times, and lay quietly on the ground again. Will looked at the series of results caused by this simple action, and his mind no longer thought that he was participating in a virtual reality scientific research project, but was witnessing the birth of a new world~!

Will, who was shocked in his heart, stood there stunned, and he was stunned for a while. Suddenly, as if struck by lightning, Will immediately walked to a strange-looking grass in the crack of the stone on the ground, and he slowly crouched down, and his outstretched right hand was trembling. When his right hand touched the grass in front of him, his right hand was like an electric shock, Will was short of breath, and he tried his best to control his right hand from trembling. Then he vigorously plucked the leaf of a small piece of grass, and looked at the blade of grass that had been pierced by himself and the purple juice that was constantly coming out of the blade of grass. Will's heart became even more excited, and when his thumb and forefinger suddenly crushed the blades of grass in his hand like paste, Will's expression began to be a little crazy.

Looking at the pasty purple grass juice in his hand, Will suddenly raised his head to the sky and roared, this genius boy from the United States discovered the biggest secret of this world in less than thirty seconds after landing on the Purple Cloud Star.

The genius Will only bent down to pick up stones and squatted to pick up blades of grass to realize that he was in another world.

After howling for a while, Will was unusually quiet in the light curtain of the novice shelter, and the reason he was quiet was not because of his self-control. It's because the strange basketball-sized beetle outside the light curtain of the vault is very similar to what happened to someone who likes to masochist. The genius boy became extremely excited after realizing that he had come to the real world for unknown reasons, and he began to run around the stone forest yelling.

However, his behavior seemed to make the aborigines here feel a little noisy, so a strange-looking beetle resting in the hole under the stone pillar ran out, and the beetle, which looked like a shell and had a pair of huge pincers, chased the young man into the light curtain of the shelter.

Looking at the strange giant beetles that swirled around the light curtain outside, Will felt a little distressed in his heart.

He was so excited that he forgot the 'law of the jungle'. It was a mistake that a scientist should not make, but the teenager made this simple but fatal mistake when he was carried away by the excitement.

But the good thing is that this teenager doesn't have the masochistic heart of a certain guy, and the only truth in his world is science.
