Chapter 113: Masquerade

The goblet was overflowing with drinks of all colors. Edward gulped down a piece of desiccated coconut cake and gulped down the brown drink in front of him. Suddenly, he let out a high-pitched, shrill giggle. Alan couldn't help but laugh when he saw his surprised expression.

Edward wasn't the only young wizard to be tricked, and laughter could be heard from every corner of the auditorium from time to time.

"It's clucking juice, and when you drink it, you giggle out loud. Professor Lockhart, dressed in a moon-white robe with golden stars, and a glass of red juice, came over and looked at Edward with interest. "I've had a gurgling liquor before and it's more exaggerated than he is. ”

"Hmm...... I think that's exaggerated enough. Alan couldn't imagine what a more powerful effect would look like.

"Your juice looks normal, I think, maybe sweet pomegranate juice. Professor Lockhart guessed the drink in front of Allen, a curious expression.

Alan looked at Edward's expectant expression, picked up the drink in front of him, and took a big sip. The cold liquid flowed into his throat, obviously the color of fire, but Alan felt as if his internal organs were frozen for a moment. The only thing you can feel is the sweetness of the fragrance that remains in your mouth.

Edward looked at Alan and laughed, then turned into a high-pitched giggle. Professor Lockhart leaned back with a smile, then gulped down the drink from his cup and walked over to the other long tables. White steam came out of his ears.

Seeing their expressions, Alan knew that something must have happened to him. "Mirroring!" An oval mirror appeared in front of Allen, a familiar, red face appeared in the mirror, and even Allen's hair turned a bright red.

"Well, retribution is coming so quickly, but it's better than Professor Gilderoy Lockhart's green cloud. Red is at least festive. "Alan has a good mentality and is very open-minded.

Having cast a recovery spell on himself, he instantly returned to his original form. But Edward smiled so much that he didn't need to help him get back to normal! Alan said he was still very cautious sometimes.

The feast was over, and the well-fed Ravenclaws were chatting happily and preparing to go back to their dorms to dress up. After all, there are more fun activities waiting for them!

Following the bustling crowd up the stairs, suddenly, the lively and chattering sound disappeared, and the students in front of them stopped.

Squeezing forward, Alan saw a terrible scene, between the two windows, on the wall a foot above the ground, scribbled with handwriting, shimmering in the light of the burning torches.

"The secret room has been opened, and the heirs are enemies, be wary. ”

Beneath the slogan, Mrs. Loris, Filch's beloved cat, had her tail hanging from the torch holder, her body stiff as a plank, her eyes wide open, staring straight at her.

In the hallway, there is a pool of stagnant water. Harry, Ron, and Hermione stood alone in the middle of the hallway, and all the young wizards present were silent. Only Alan knows what happened.

In the silence, someone spoke loudly. "Enemies of the heirs, be on the lookout! Next is you, Mudbloods!"

It's Draco Malfoy. He had already crowded to the front of the crowd, his cold eyes were alive, and his normally bloodless face was flushed. He looked at the still, stiff cat hanging there, and a grim smile appeared on his face.

Alan felt that what he thought was cute or something must have been a hallucination. Malfoy is really a little villain, and at this time, he has no sympathy at all, but is cursing Hermione, that look is really annoying!

Filch's arrival made the scene even more embarrassing. Enraged, Filch decided that Harry was the culprit and hissed at Harry.

Professor Dumbledore and the other teachers arrived at the scene, took control of the scene, and evacuated the students. They took the three of them to Professor Lockhart's office for questioning.

The conversation of the Ravenclaws suddenly shifted from masquerade to the Chamber of Secrets and the Heirs.

"Is Lady Loris dead? Could it be Harry?" Edward asked Alan after Lady Loris's tragic situation.

"Of course not, Lady Loris is just petrified. It required a very high level of dark magic, and Harry would never have been able to do it. Alan replied calmly.

"Great! Even though Lady Loris is the most annoying cat I've ever seen, I hope it's alive. As long as she lives, Madam Pomfrey will heal it. Edward was happy for Filch.

"Of course it will be cured, and Professor Sprout's mandrake is very symptomatic. Once they have matured, Professor Snape's skills will naturally lead to the successful concoction of potions to bring Lady Loris back to life. Alan said firmly, which quickly calmed Edward and the Ravenclaws around him who were listening.

Despite such an unpleasant incident at Hogwarts, it could not stop the Ravenclaws from wanting to hold a masquerade ball.

When Eren arrives in the Ravenclaw common room disguised as a handsome vampire, he finds that the lounge has completely changed its appearance, making it almost unrecognizable to Alan. The huge bookshelves were tucked away, and the wide, comfortable sofas were placed against the base of the wall for the young wizards to rest. The food that had just appeared in the auditorium appeared on the long table again, and although it was not stacked beautifully, it was still very tempting for everyone to eat. The seniors even brought butterbeer to chat about.

In addition to the vampires dressed as Allen, there are also images of witches, deaths, superheroes, pirates, fairies, skeletons and so on. The most eye-catching is the prefect Penelope, who was seen wearing a leopard print bodysuit and cat ear hair accessories, and she was dressed as a very beautiful "cat woman". Alan suddenly realized, no wonder she had been walking catwalks in the auditorium before!

It's another carnival, dancing and dancing, playing games and playing games. The greedy little wizard seemed to have enough to eat, and while holding his round little belly, he stuffed food into his mouth.

The climax of the atmosphere was the arrival of Professor Flitwick. He disguised himself as a little devil with little red horns and appeared at the ball in a flying pumpkin cart.

The pumpkin cart floats in the air, and Professor Flitwick scatters candy in all directions, causing the young wizards to cheer. Come to think of it, in the eyes of the children, although the professor is dressed as a little devil, he is more like a little angel!
