Chapter 15: Finding a Secluded Spot in the Mountains of Koya (Part 1)

~~ Recommend a "Xinghan Room" written by a water friend, travel through the Han Dynasty to present the emperor, and Xing my Han Dynasty is mighty!

"My name is Izumi Sakurai, I think you should know me, right?" After Lu Xihua finished singing "I Want to Say I Love You Loudly", he couldn't hold back any longer, Sakurai Izumi confidently took off the huge toad mirror on his face and put his delicate face in front of Lu Xihua.

deliberately lowered his voice, looking like he was afraid that others would hear it, but he expected the mysterious big boy to show a surprised expression.

It's a pity that Lu Xihua is not Japanese, where can he recognize this famous host of TBS TV. If you are Yan Song, Yongyuan, Benin, these familiar faces before, Lu Xihua can really be surprised: Why, you also come to Japan for tourism?

However, when it was the turn of the royal sister-type young lady next to her, Lu Xihua had no impression, shook her head and said, "I don't know, are you very famous?"

Izumi Sakurai's smiling face, which was still blooming, suddenly froze, and his teeth quietly bit his lip to calm the anger in his heart, not like a child.

is worthy of being a professional host of the news channel, after a breath, he smiled again, and generously stretched out his right hand and handed it to Lu Xihua, "It's okay if you don't know." Let me introduce myself: My name is Izumi Sakurai, and I am the host of the TBS news channel in Tokyo, and I often broadcast daily news and conduct some live interviews. Can you tell me your name?"

Out of politeness, Lu Xihua shook Sakurai Quan's small hand back, soft, with warmth, and quickly let go again, "Lu Xihua, a Chinese person." ”

Sakurai Izumi's body trembled slightly when she heard this, she looked Lu Xihua up and down, and asked in a low voice, "Are you a student who was invited to study abroad?" She knew that Japan and China were now in the honeymoon period, and the two sides had carried out multi-faceted exchanges in the economic and cultural fields.

Some famous Japanese universities also specially invite Chinese students to come to Japan to study and receive modern education, but the number of places is extremely limited, and only geniuses with outstanding knowledge in a certain aspect can have this kind of treatment.

Of course, there is another way, that is, the children of some wealthy and high-ranking officials in China can also get the opportunity to study in Japan. Seeing that Lu Xihua was so particular about food, Izumi Sakurai guessed that he might be the latter, and he couldn't help but feel some disdain in his heart, but he immediately suppressed it well, still with a gentle smile on her face, and her goal was only that moving song.

"It's really enviable, I can't imagine that Lu Jun, as a Chinese, can create such a song that is in line with the characteristics of Japanese college students, is this the so-called talent? I don't know..."

"I didn't write it. ”

"What?!"

"I said I didn't write this song, I was just wandering around the park at random, and I heard someone singing it, so I accidentally wrote it down, so if you want to look for something like the original, please don't waste time on me. ”

"Is that so? So may I ask, when and in which park did Lu Jun hear it? I really want to know~"

"I'm really sorry about this, I was drunk that night and forgot the exact location, and I'm also very distressed. "The original work didn't appear until ninety-three years, where can I find it for you now, Lu Xihua doesn't want to pay attention to it.

"You~" Sakurai Izumi was really angry, and just now he said that he had memorized it after hearing someone else's singing, but now he got drunk and forgot the location. Do you think I'm an idiot? Believe your inconsistencies, or don't you want to tell me at all?

"Lu Jun~" Izumi Sakurai wants to try again.

"I'm sorry, I woke up a little early this morning, so I'm a little sleepy right now and want to sleep for a while. After Lu Xihua said this, he turned his head to Sakurai Izumi and began to pretend to sleep.

Izumi Sakurai quietly clenched his hands into fists, Okay, you sleep, I want to see how many tricks you have.

When the Shinkansen arrives in Osaka, people start to get off the train, preparing to take various means of transportation from here to overseas or to remote places such as Kyushu and Shikoku in Japan.

I thought that no one would venture to Tokyo at this moment, but the large number of monks on the platform was calming everyone.

Five-colored armor, snow-white hakama, mighty monk's stick, and serious expressions made the people waiting on the opposite platform almost dare not make loud noises, and can only talk in whispers.

"Is it a monk, why does it look so vicious?"

"Haven't you studied Japanese history? That's the legendary monk soldier~"

"What is a monk?"

"Those who specialize in battlefield battles, it is said that subduing demons and eliminating demons is their specialty. ”

"Is this for the sake of the city of Tokyo?"

"It seems like a lot of people, at least a thousand people. ”

"It's so close to Wakayama Prefecture, it seems that it's Koyasan's troops. ”

"I'm going to call my friend and reassure him that since the monastery has dispatched monks, then there will be a solution to the matter, and there is no need to leave in a hurry. ”

"I heard that the Mt. Hiei Tendai sect has also dispatched their secret troops, and monks from all over the country are gathering in Tokyo City. ”

"It is said that the governor of Tokyo has issued an order that all people in the city of Tokyo should stay at home for the time being, do not go out, and wait for further notice from the government. ”

"All the shelters have been opened, and some residents have moved in because they feel unsafe in their homes, and there are arrangements for social services and doctors to look after them. ”

"Also, martial law has been imposed at many intersections, and private cars are not allowed to drive. ”

......

All kinds of gossip are flying all over the sky, these have no impact on Lu Xihua, he just wants to go to Koyasan and see where the Shingon Sect is, this thousand-year-old sect that claims to inherit the Tang Mi inheritance, calls itself Dongmi, what is so special?

The Tang Dynasty was the heyday of the development of Buddhism in China, and Buddhism had extremely frequent exchanges with foreign countries, including Master Xuanzang who trekked through mountains and rivers, went through hardships and dangers, and went west to India to obtain the true scriptures; there were also Master Jianzhen who never turned back and traveled east to Japan to spread Buddhism; and there were also "Tang envoys" from Japan, who went to China to learn all kinds of Buddhism and knowledge of Chinese culture, science and technology, military and other aspects.

Among the many members of the Chinese "Tang Envoys", Kukai is especially an outstanding representative.

Kukai's common surname is Saeki, and he was born into a wealthy family in Tado Prefecture of Sanuki Province. At the age of 18, he entered a university in Kyoto, Japan, but because he was interested in Buddhism, he went to the mountains and forests to do penance before graduating from university. When he was 20 years old, he became a monk, but because he could not understand the Sanskrit mantras in the "Great Nikkei" transmitted from the Tang Dynasty, and could not find answers in Japan, he entered the Tang Dynasty in the twenty-third year of Enryaku (804).

In Chang'an, Kukai lived in Ximing Temple, where most of his Japanese friends and Japanese students came to study in Tang. There, he not only visited Yongzhong, a Japanese monk who lived here early and came to Tang to study in 777 A.D., but also learned about the situation of Chang'an Buddhism in the past 30 years from him, and met the Esoteric Master ~ Huiguo, a Chinese monk, in Qinglong Temple.

At Seiryuji Temple, Huiguo not only taught Kukai the two tantric methods of the Vajra Realm and the Tibetan Realm, solving the difficult problems that Kukai had existed before entering the Tang Dynasty, but also taught him Sanskrit, making Kukai the first scholar in Japanese history to be able to read, write, and speak Indian Sanskrit.

As time passed, the teacher-student friendship between Keigo and Kukai grew.

In the end, Hui Guo gave Kukai Xing an empowerment gift and gave him the Dharma name "Panzhao Vajra". In addition, he also gave Kukai 13 kinds of Buddha relics and white sandalwood shrines handed down from Vajra Zhi Sanzang and Bukong Sanzang, as well as Ganda Guzi robes and blue glass offering bowls that he used.

Since Kukai accepted the mantle of Huiguo, he became the eighth generation of Acharya of Shingon Esoteric Buddhism.

After returning to Japan after learning the orthodox Esoteric Buddhism (pure Esoteric Buddhism) in the Tang Dynasty, Kukai founded the Japanese Esoteric Shingon sect, calling itself the Eastern Esoteric Buddhism, which was an epoch-making change for the Buddhist community in Japan and had a significant impact on Japanese culture.

He modeled the Japanese character cursive script to create hiragana, and in his later years founded the first folk school in Japanese history ~ Zongzhong Tanchiin. Kukai died in 835 A.D. and was buried in Koyasan. At that time, after Kukai returned to Koyasan from Kyoto in February, he began fasting, made a seal with a knot in his hand, recited mantras, and passed away on March 21 at the age of 62.

The Eastern Secret Line is known as the secret transmission of the practice of the Dharma in the Great Ri Rulai.

Esoteric Buddhism, as a school of Buddhism, believes that through the blessings of the three tantras, such as body tantras, mantras, and minds, one can quickly become a Buddha, without having to go through the practice of multiple reincarnations as in other Buddhist schools.

It is said that this method was taught to Vajrasattva by the Great Nippon Nyorai, who in turn passed it on to Shakyamuni. Shakyamuni thought that this method was too sensational and difficult for the world to understand, so he sealed the tantric scriptures in the South Heaven Tower in India.

Eight hundred years later, Nagarjuna opened the Iron Tower Sutra, which was later passed on to the Dragon Wisdom Bodhisattva, who in turn passed on the Vajra Wisdom Sanzang and the Good and Fearless Sanzang.

During the Kaiyuan period, the "Three Great Scholars of Kaiyuan" Shanwu Fearless, Vajra Zhi and Bukong (disciples of Vajra Zhi) came to the Tang Dynasty and translated the tantric classics "Da Nikjing" and "Su Siddhi Sutra", and was named a national teacher by Tang Xuanzong, so Tantra flourished in China.
