Chapter 13: Receiving the False Ring

In the Ming world of this time and space, the development of Taoism is slightly different in Gu Changqing's cognition.

Taoism believes that the universe was created by the Taishang, and the Taishang is the embodiment of the Great Dao.

Taishang turned chaos into one qi, and then gave birth to the qi of Taixuan, Taixuansheng Pangu opened the world, turned Taixuan into Wuji, and Wuxuan turned Pangu Dao into three, and derived the three Qing Zun gods.

Since then, Sanqing has become the three supreme gods of Taoism, and the general name is the Void Nature Daluo Sanqing Three Realms and Three Treasures Tianzun.

The three deities are: Yuqing Sacred Realm Supreme Enlightenment First Ascending Pangu Yuan Shi Tianzun, Shangqing Realm Yuchen Daojun Lingbao Tianzun, and Ten Thousand Sects Mixed Yuan Sect Master Xuanyuan Emperor Dao Dao Tianzun.

Sanqing Zun God adheres to the ancestral avenue of Taishang, derives all things, and creates sentient beings, which is for the Taiji realm.

From these histories, it is not difficult to see that this universe has an extremely regular history of development.

The universe was created by the Taishang, and then the world entered the Taixuan Realm, and the Taixuan Realm gave birth to Pangu to open the heavens and the earth, and evolved to the Wuji Realm, and after the Wuji Realm, through the creation of the Sanqing Zun God, the world entered the Taiji Realm.

The Tai Chi world is talking about today.

Speaking of Taishang Dao Ancestor, the world is also called Taishang Laojun, because the Taishang Dharma Body is infinite, and often transforms into a Dao body in the world.

In the Spring and Autumn Period, Lao Tzu, who wrote "Five Thousand Words", was rumored to be the Dharma Body of the Taishang Dao Ancestor.

Therefore, there is a saying in the mortal world that is widely spread: Lao Jun is the first in the sky, and Lao Tzu is the first in the world.

That's how this phrase came about.

Of course, there is another rumor about the Taishang Dao Ancestor, that is, there is a rumor that the Daode Tianzun among the Sanqing Zun is also one of his Dharma Bodies.

Because the "Five Thousand Words" written by Lao Tzu, the Dharma Body of the Taishang Dao Ancestor, is also known as the "Tao Te Ching", which is the same as the Daode Tianzun God, so the world has this guess.

As for the truth, no one can say.

In Taoism, in addition to the three clear supreme gods, there are also six royals.

The Jade Emperor, who rules over the heavens.

Dongyu, the Emperor Gouchen who ruled over ten thousand thunders.

Northern Emperor, the Purple Emblem Emperor who rules over all stars.

Xiyu, the Qinghua Emperor who rules all kinds of people.

Nanyu, the immortal emperor who rules over all souls.

Under the Emperor, the Emperor of Houtu who ruled over all lands.

These six royal gods are ranked below the supreme god of the Three Qing Dynasty, and they are called "Haotian Six Imperial Chenzun".

Together with the Three Qings, these nine gods are the leaders of all saints in Taoism, collectively known as the "Nine Emperor Imperial Names".

The Ming Dynasty's Dao Gong Si enshrines the statues of these nine gods, as for the Taishang Dao Ancestor, because no one knows its specific Dao body, no one dares to set up a statue, in case of worship, that is the sinner of the ages.

Of course, the Dao Gong Division is the yamen of the imperial court, and there is money to worship the nine gods, but the Taoist temples in other places are not so particular.

Larger Taoist temples, some only worship the three Qing supreme gods, some only worship the six royals, and the smaller Taoist temples may only worship one or two of the six emperors.

These all depend on the size, financial resources, and ancestors of the Taoist temple.

Taiyiguan is a very small Taoist temple, and only one god can be enshrined in the main hall, according to the truth, he can worship any of the nine gods, but he is worshipping the Zhenwu Emperor.

Speaking of Emperor Zhenwu, this has a lot of origins.

Emperor Taizong of the Ming Dynasty was successful in cultivating the Tao, and at the age of only thirty-six, he became a first-class Taoist priest, and he was honored as the True Martial Demon Heavenly Master.

The term Celestial Master is an additional honorific title for a first-class Taoist priest.

Later, Emperor Taizong ascended the throne as the emperor, and in order to strengthen his rule over Taoism, he crowned himself as the Emperor of Zhenwu Dang Demon, whose identity was equivalent to that of the Six Emperors.

Since then, the Dao Gong Sili has built a separate hall for the Emperor Zhenwu.

Some folk Taoist temples even simply worship the god Zhenwu the Great.

This is the case with Taiyiguan.

Gu Changqing knelt in front of the statue of Emperor Zhenwu, He Yong put the scripture in his hand on top of his head, and read:

"Tell the gods of Emperor Zhenwu, give "Five Thousand Words" to the layman Gu Changqing, inherit the talisman of the Great Dao, and be a disciple of my Daomen. โ€

There are two parts to the process of receiving the consecration, one of which is the acceptance of the "Five Thousand Words".

"Five Thousand Words" is the first Taoist scripture handed down by Lao Tzu, the ancestor of the Taishang Dao, and it is the basic method for Taoist priests to cultivate.

Generally speaking, the mana of the Taoist priests in Taoist temples who have no background is cultivated through this scripture.

This part is called the Book of Talismans.

The second part is the evidence of receiving the Great Dao Talisman.

The proof of the Great Dao Talisman refers to the Dao Urn, that is, the wooden card in He Yong's hand.

This wooden card is a magic weapon that carries the mana of the Taoist priest, and the life of the Taoist priest is one, and the Taoist urn is broken.

Because Gu Changqing is only receiving a fake urn now, this urn is wooden.

If he passed the assessment of the Dao Gong Division, he would have to undergo another real reception, and the Dao Gong at that time would be jade.

Moreover, in addition to storing mana, the jade Dao urn can also be used as a magic weapon that holds all things.

As the level of the Dao Basket increases, the space inside it will also increase.

Gu Changqing respectfully took "Five Thousand Words", He Yong took out the wooden Dao Urn again, and read:

"Sue the three Qing and six imperial gods, the layman Gu Changqing has received the book of the Great Dao Talisman, and now he obeys the divine decree of the Emperor Zhenwu, and only accepts it with a fake urn, which is the evidence of the Great Dao Talisman. โ€

He Yong handed the wooden Dao Basket to Gu Changqing, and Gu Changqing took it with both hands.

"Let's get started. โ€

Qi Gong is the last step after the completion of the Dao Gong, since the Dao Gong has been received, it is necessary for the person who receives the Gong to start the Dao Gong, and from then on the Dao Gong and the Tao Gong become one.

Gu Changqing had long been clear about these levels, and without hesitation, he bit his middle finger and dripped blood on the wooden Dao Urn.

Blood fell on the wooden Dao Basket, and a cloud of clear air surrounded it.

Gu Changqing said sincerely: "Disciple Gu Changqing swears by the Great Dao, serves the Tao for life, and does not spin his heels in death. โ€

With Gu Changqing's oath, the clear qi turned into a Taiji diagram, and the two yin and yang fish, one black and one white, instantly turned into entities, and the white one drilled into Gu Changqing's eyebrows, and then entered his dantian, fused with the warmth in the dantian, and formed a bean-sized golden pill.

The black yin-yang fish burrowed into the wooden dao, and in an instant, a line of words appeared on it.

"Inheriting the talisman of the Great Dao, Gu Changqing, a disciple of the Dao Sect, proves the Dharma body of no quality. โ€

This line of words is equivalent to the identity certificate of the ancient Changqing Taoist.

The last sentence "proving the Dharma body of no grade" means that although Gu Changqing has received the Dharma, it is only a fake Dharmakaya, and it is not in the grade, so it is the Dharma Body of the Qualityless.

If Gu Changqing passed the assessment of the Dao Gong Division, this sentence would become "the Dharma Body of the Nine Grades".

As for Gu Changqing's oath, it is called the Great Dao Oath.

Monks believe in the Great Dao and pursue the perfection of the Great Dao, so swearing to the Great Dao is the strictest oath, and no one dares to disobey it.

At this point, the whole process of Gu Changqing's fake urn is over.

He Yong picked up Gu Changqing and encouraged: "Fusheng Immeasurable Heavenly Venerable, Senior Brother Gu, from now on, we will be the same family, I hope you will abide by the Dao oath, serve the Dao for life, achieve the Dao fruit as soon as possible, and receive the real Dao Ring." โ€

Gu Changqing bowed with a long body: "Fusheng Immeasurable Heavenly Venerable! Thank you, Senior Brother He." โ€

This worship is sincere, and in any case, it is also a great favor to receive a false urn for him.

He Yong smiled and said, "Earlier you said you were going to ยทยทยทยทยทยท for me."

Gu Changqing immediately understood, nodded and said, "Yes, I'm in good spirits, Senior Brother He, go and rest, I'll help you guard the main hall." โ€

"Then I'd be respectful and obey. โ€
