Although the king of Jizo always admonished his mother to be a good person with all his heart and good. However, his mother never listened, and all she thought about in her heart was how to play tricks on people and not make people feel better. It seems that it is sad that King Jizo's mother can get great happiness by herself.

So, this son and mother, good and evil, are so improvised. Many people who know them well don't know why a vicious mother can give birth to such a good son. Some people even say that it was the mother of the King of Jizo who accumulated great virtue in her previous life, otherwise she would have been retributed long ago.

However, good is rewarded with good, and evil is rewarded with evil, which is a saying that sounds very simple, but it is also an iron law. No matter how good King Jizo is, it will be difficult for her mother to avoid evil retribution forever.

One day, without the knowledge of the mortal Jizo King, another evil thought was born in his mother's heart.

Jizo's mother knew that not far from the town where she lived, there was a temple called "Hanzanji". The temple is not big, it can even be said to be a little small, and naturally it is not luxurious at all.

However, this temple is an ancient temple that has been standing for more than 500 years, solemn and solemn, and the name of the Buddha is far and wide. Especially because the monks in the ancient temple are all ascetics with extremely noble virtues, often even if they suffer themselves, they also want to benefit the ordinary people in the vicinity, so this ancient temple is almost regarded as a place of victory by local mortals.

Often, if anyone encounters any catastrophe, they will go to this Hanshan Temple to ask for a signature, and then listen to a burst of Buddhist words, most of them can eliminate disasters and avoid disasters.

King Jizo's mother had played tricks on too many ordinary people on weekdays, and gradually found it boring, so for some reason, this time she suddenly hit the idea on the head of the ascetic monks in Hanshan Temple.

She knew very well that the ascetic monks in Hanshan Temple were all fasting and reciting Buddha, abiding by the rules and precepts, and not daring to cross the line at all. Especially because "avoid killing" is the first of the five precepts of Buddhism, the monks in Hanshan Temple will not be contaminated with meat no matter what. It's a centuries-old tradition that hasn't changed in the slightest.

So, she wanted to change the monks. She wondered what it would be like if the monks in Hanshan Temple really ate meat.

Therefore, she prepared a large basket of dog meat buns and pretended to go to Hanshan Temple to worship the Buddha. And because the mother of King Jizo was notorious, almost everyone in the neighborhood knew about it, so when the ascetics in the temple saw her coming, they thought that she had finally repented in her heart, so they wanted to listen to the Buddha's voice and purify their minds.

Being able to turn evil into good is a great merit for Buddhists. Therefore, the kind-hearted monks did not expect that in fact, the mother of the king of Jizo had a malicious heart here, and only put all their thoughts on how to persuade her to be good.

At first, in order to achieve her goal, King Jizo's mother naturally pretended to be extremely pious, as if she was bent on repenting and changing her ways. And when she felt that the monks believed in her, she took out the dog meat buns she had prepared, saying that they were vegetarian buns prepared by herself, hoping to form a Buddha relationship with them.

Charity is a kind of good deed advocated by Buddhism to accumulate virtue and do good. Seeing that King Jizo's mother was so kind, the monks naturally did not refuse, so they all took her dog meat buns without warning, and some even ate them quickly.

Among them, the abbot master of Hanshan Temple is one. He was very happy to see that the mother of the King of Jizo had come to worship the Buddha and to give more kindness. So, in order to encourage this kind of good deed of King Jizo's mother, he did not hesitate to eat the steamed buns handed over by her in front of King Jizo's mother.

The abbot only took one bite, and his face changed. He had never been contaminated with meat in his life, and the smell of the steamed buns that made him feel extremely strange and strange after entering the mouth made him feel very uncomfortable.

And seeing the mother of King Jizo, the abbot of Hanshan Temple, eating dog meat buns, the bad taste in his heart was finally completely vented. So, she couldn't act anymore, laughed wildly in Hanshan Temple, and told the truth directly.

Knowing that they had eaten dog meat, almost all the monks were disgusted on the spot. And the abbot's face instantly became extremely ugly, and his old body suddenly collapsed to the ground, looking at the mother of the king of Jizo in a daze, but he couldn't speak for a long time.

Looking at the embarrassed appearance of the monks around her, King Jizo's mother was even more happy. When she came here today, what she wanted to see was the tragic situation in front of her. That's funny, she thinks.

However, no matter how wildly Jizo's mother laughed at the moment, the kind-hearted monk never blamed her, only blamed himself for not being able to distinguish and constantly chanting "sin" in his mouth.

As for the abbot master of the Hanshan Temple, his reaction was the most intense. I want him to practice penance all his life and devote himself to Buddha. In this way, when he was over seventy years old, he already had a faint feeling that perhaps he was about to set foot in the Land of Bliss and be able to transcend.

Who would have thought that today's bun would ruin all his life's penance. He has been reciting the Buddha for many years, but today he has committed the great vows, how can he still have the face to go to the Happy Land to meet the Buddha?

As a result, the more the abbot thought about it, the more sad he became, and the more he thought about it, the more depressed he became. Finally, not long after, he died of grief and anger on the spot, and sat down in front of King Jizo's mother.

At this time, the mother of King Jizo was also frightened. She didn't expect that after taking a bite of the bun, the abbot master's reaction would be so fierce. So, she finally escaped from Hanshan Temple and ran down the mountain.

Many times in the past, King Jizo's mother was always able to run away after doing evil, or even walk away in a grand manner. But this time, when Tiandi was finally angry because of the death of the abbot master of Hanshan Temple, the retribution of reincarnation came, and she couldn't run away no matter what.

King Jizo's mother ran and ran and ran and kept running. But she ran for a long, long time, and found that the road down the mountain was so long that it seemed to have no end. Until a certain moment, when she was a little exhausted and in a trance, she suddenly found that there was an extra door in front of the path she was on.

"It's the way out!" thought Jizo's mother, who ran over without hesitation and pushed the door open.

What greeted her was not a familiar way back, let alone bright sunshine, only an endless sea of fire and suffocating heat.

Jizo's mother was frightened, and she wanted to turn back. But when she turned back, she found that the door was gone, and all around her was countless terrifying and bloody scenes—it was the scene of the eighteenth layer of hell!

Reincarnation sent King Jizo's mother to hell and turned her into an ugly dog. From then on, King Jizo's mother was trapped in hell and suffered torture to atone for her sins.

Soon after, the mortal King of Jizo learned of all this. He was deeply repentant for what his mother had done, but after all, as a son of man, how could he allow his mother to suffer in hell?

So, he resolutely broke through the ordinary and began a long period of penance. And because of his perseverance and talent, he finally achieved the road after many years.

So, he resolutely stepped into hell and came to the sea of demon cultivation. He met with Yama in the hope of saving his mother. But how could Yama agree to his terms? Unless, there is such a being, whose status and power are higher than Yama's.

This kind of existence is only a realm lord who does not yet have hell!

This became a new target for King Jizo. So he continued to obsessively cultivate for tens of thousands of years on the Demon Cultivation Sea, and finally achieved the power of the heavens, was recognized by the Hell Realm, proclaimed himself the king of the earth, and ruled the ten halls of Yama!

Finally, King Jizo saw his suffering mother. However, the power of reincarnation was so strong that he couldn't change his mother from a dog back to a human at all. In desperation, he could only choose to open the gate of hell and let his mother out first.

And he didn't expect that his mother had suffered so much in hell, not only did she not repent at all, but she even escaped far away after rushing out of the eighteenth layer of hell.

And the way she thought of revenge was to take the light of the night between heaven and earth, and from then on plunge the night into complete darkness. So, she began to chase the moon, and as soon as she caught up, she used her great magic power to eat the moon in one bite.

In the Three Realms, there is also a legend. This legend is a follow-up to Jizo's Salvation Mother, which called the tengu to eat the moon.

Legend has it that the tengu was incarnated by Jizo's mother, and in front of her, the light of the bright moon would be completely obscured.
