48. Copying the public
Walking into the courtyard, a large bluestone was erected in the court, the upper side of the outer side was flattened, and a seven-word poem was engraved with the dragon flying and the phoenix dancing:
"Wealth is forcing people not to be free, and it is difficult to collect the dragon and the phoenix. The hall is full of three thousand guests, and one sword is frosty and cold in forty states. The drum horn reveals that the sky is cold, and the wind is turbulent. The founding of the country will always be the golden pillar, who envies the old princes back then!"
——This is the quatrain of Huang Chang's previous life, a famous master of poetry and painting, and a famous monk. And in this life, Huang Chang made a back copy and plagiarized it.
Some of the words and sentences have been modified, and the following inscription is also written as "Ji Sheng's drunken question" - Huang Chang himself wants a literary name, which is useless. The reason why he came out with this poem was to help his father-in-law use it to hype up his reputation and establish a "personality".
Yuyuanjun and Haolingjun have been fighting for many years, and the government and the opposition of the Great Zhou Dynasty all know that these two princes will open up their territories in the future, and if they succeed, they can build a country and become a new prince.
Then if you want to take this opportunity to cling to Jiwei's individuals, families, sects, and Shang Pavilion, you can only choose between the two of them if you want to take refuge. Now that Shengyangjun is strongly in line, not to mention anything else, at least make a name for himself first, so that people know that in addition to those two, there is also a prince of the Ji family in the Great Zhou Dynasty to choose from!
This seven-character poem fulfills this requirement – although the form is slightly different from the genre popular today, the charm of literature is the same after all. "The hall is full of three thousand guests, and one sword is frosty and cold in forty states. When these fourteen words were written on paper by Huang Chang, Sheng Yangjun couldn't put it down when he saw it.
Regarding Huang Chang's proposal to make him identify himself as the author, Sheng Yangjun was originally opposed. After all, literati are good-looking and reserved, but when Huang Chang made it clear that this was from his previous world, and there was no same poetry in the world, Shengyangjun hesitated.
And when his princess accidentally saw this poem in the study, she immediately preconceived that it was her husband's work, and praised it - the adjustments made by Huang Chang in the text were precisely to suit Shengyangjun's status and current state of mind.
In addition, in everyone's consistent impression, this seventeenth prince has always loved poetry and is a standard literary middle-aged. Although he had never shown such a good talent before, it is not surprising that he could write such a work.
So Sheng Yangjun finally accepted it half-pushed, and soon became triumphant in the praise of his wife and the Qingke masters under his door, as if this poem was really written by himself - is the literati reserved, just like that. However, it is not a bad thing that he has this kind of self-confidence, because this poem really swept the entire pickaxe capital city not long after, and it is estimated that it will not take long to spread throughout the territory of the Great Zhou.
And the ambition "revealed" by Sheng Yangjun in his poems is naturally widely known, which can be called a perfect advertising hype. Even Emperor Jingyao, the son of the Great Zhou Dynasty, praised this poem after seeing it:
"The seventeenth brother is so literary and courageous!"
The Holy Son of Heaven Chrysostom said that as soon as the emperor said this, he confirmed that Shengyangjun, like the other two princes, also has the qualifications to open up to the outside world. In other words, he and the original two runners are finally on the same starting line.
And this poem itself can also position the character image of Shengyangjun and distinguish it from the other two princes. Compared with Yu Yuanjun's pretense, Haolingjun's arrogance and pride, Shengyangjun's gentleness and elegance, and the "personality" of the smart lord can be regarded as standing up.
The effect was immediate—many scribes had come to join lately. Among them, there are certainly sour people who are stupid in reading, but there are also talents who are good at governing the country. And this is exactly what Huang Chang needs - if he wants to fight, he can pull out a group of senior brothers to help at any time, but the management personnel still need a large number of grassroots management personnel, and the Xianmen disciples can't help.
It's not just the scribes who will be moved, as long as they are not completely rude and unfamiliar warriors, those characters in the rivers and lakes can also experience some of them, including immortal cultivators.
The two visitors stood beside the big stone for a long time, admiring Shengyangjun's literary brilliance for a long time before entering the hall. Huang Chang followed in, there were already many guests sitting inside, but it was not the usual anxious attitude of picking and choosing in the shops and leaving after buying things. It's about drinking tea, tasting wine, reading books, and playing chess...... In short, it is very laid-back.
The monk surnamed Wang was in a hurry, but the monk surnamed Liu had been here once and knew the rules—this place was not just a commercial shop, but closer to a place where fellow Taoists gathered to exchange goods and information with each other. Li Daoyou, the chief staff member of Shengyangjun, as the initiator and host, will come up with some good things as a backing every time. In this way, even if others don't have any good things, they won't go home empty-handed.
Even if you don't want to exchange things, you can chat with colleagues, expand your network, and inquire about some news, which is a good thing...... But not everyone can come here. Monks are the best, and if you are a martial artist, you must at least reach the innate level, and you need someone to introduce you to enter.
Fortunately, the current owner of this manor, Shengyang Jun, needs to recruit talents, and the conditions for newcomers to join are very relaxed. The last time the monk surnamed Liu came, he had the qualifications to introduce others to join. At this time, he brought his friend monk surnamed Wang over, and after saying hello to Qiu Yong, who was greeting guests in the hall, the two were able to take care of themselves.
Led by the monk surnamed Liu, the two of them first went to a screen on the side of the house, on which were written in ink pen what the guests could offer, what they could exchange, and what they needed.
The top of them was taken out by the master of the party, Li Daoyou, a staff member of Shengyang Jun: twenty talisman jade talismans, which could withstand the attack of a monk in the early stage of qi refining. As well as a number of talisman arrows and some pill pills, the latter of which was provided by Ji Ruo. It is allowed to exchange spirit stones, and other things are also accepted, and the specific price is negotiable.
Below are the things that the rest of the monks and warriors have taken out, and those are all kinds of things. Among them, there are also talismans, weapons, and elixirs, but they are often more out of the way, and ordinary people can't use them or things that are not of good quality - if there are good ones, they must be kept for their own use first, and those that they can't use will be taken out and exchanged.
In addition, there are some strange items of unknown origin and unknown purpose, which are often obtained by each person in previous adventures, do not know the specific use, or are afraid of any side effects, and may not be expected to be exchanged here. If someone can discern the pearl, maybe they can find out some news from it. Of course, there are also people who use the psychology of picking up leaks to get some fakes to cheat money, which depends on the eyesight of each person.
