On the north side of Zhumayi is a castle built on a mountain, and there are three walls forming a defense system in the shape of a "day". The periphery main city wall is five zhang high, three zhang wide, one hundred zhang long, is piled up by the stone block from the inside to the outside, and the center erects one or two zhang high city tower, called Wangri Tower. At both ends of the main city wall, auxiliary walls were built along the mountain, and there was also a floor on each wall. Standing on the plum mountain is called the plum building, and the building on the cloud mountain is called the cloud building. It starts with the auxiliary walls on both sides and extends further up the hill.

A wall of about 200 li was built to prevent the invasion of the Ugan Empire.

One hundred steps back from the main city wall, between the two mountains, a tall city tower was built, the height and width of the city wall are the same as the main city wall, fifty zhang long. On the first floor is named Lu Long. The two sides are connected to the main wall by stone walls. On either side were two columns of soldiers' barracks. Further back, a hundred paces away, is the Crescent Tower facing the official road.

This city wall is four zhang high, two zhang wide, eighty steps long, and there is a floor called Crescent Moon Tower. On both sides of the area were storehouses for storing grain and grass, horse sheds and wooden huts for the treatment of wounded soldiers.

The wet water and the southeast path Lu Longsai, the plug road from the east of Wuzhong County, cross the water, to Lin Lancheng, east to Qingcheng. The danger of Lu Long, the steep mountain lingers, so it has the name of Jiuzheng.

Since the beginning of the eastward migration of the king, the royal family's policy towards the surrounding Yidi has changed, and it has begun to build fortifications in the border area, including eight cities and twelve official roads.

For example, the Yin Guan Temple is located at the crossing, and a huge stone lion is placed at the door, showing his teeth and claws against the rising sun every day.

And the real center of power in Zhumayi is the mansion of the lord of Yi in Beicheng, the mansion of Xie Fang, and the building of the mansion of the lord of Yi is not taller than the yamen of the various ministries, except for the towering watchtower. But the thick walls and the immense plaza inside create a sense of the sacred.

The officials stationed in Mayi actually knew in their hearts that as the lord of the city who eased the conflict between the royal family and the Yan State, he would not dwell on the specific details of the officialdom. Therefore, for them, the most terrible place and the most powerful place in the entire bureaucracy in Zhumayi was neither the yamen of the ministries nor the mansions of the lords of the city—but the square building in the west of the city, with a gray-black exterior painted with a layer of eerie looks.

The 'Nine Fans' are set up here. Nine Fans has independent investigative powers, arrest powers, and even trial powers in certain cases.

And no other agency has the power to regulate it.

This is an official temple specially designed by the Son of Heaven.

In a sense, this is a beast without reins.
