Chapter 1193: Incantation
General Baoxian's mantra: Hum Mani Nibadra Yaswaha 108, 1080 Heart Sutra 1-7
Bright Mantra 21-108
Dedication: May this merit be dedicated to the great general and his dependents, so that the power of merit will be increased, and all the good will be attained Bodhi! May I and all sentient beings obtain gold and silver treasures at will, be rich and abundant, and all the things I wish for in my heart will be accomplished, even Bodhi!
At the beginning, Dhondrup Rinchen Fu said to Lama Tsongkhapa: "The Buddha-figure of your many births is the ability to fear Vajra, the protection against disasters should be based on Vajrapani, etc., the generation of wisdom should be based on the five characters of Manjushri, the prolongation of life should be based on immeasurable longevity, the attainment of good karma should be based on the Heavenly King of Tatawen, and the elimination of adverse conditions should be based on the wisdom of the Lord of the Six Armed Ming and the King of the Golden Chogyal, etc.
The above deities I am giving to you today must be cultivated according to my teachings, and they are indispensable for the practice of the Dharma and so on. ”。 Lama Tsongkhapa asked questions and answers in front of Guru Dhondrup Rinchen and said, "May you follow your teacher's teachings."
We see that Lama Tsongkhapa's guru practiced tantric teachings in a targeted manner. Although in the end, each deity has immeasurable merits and is equal, but in terms of dependent origination, they have different qualities and aspirations.
In order to fulfill our worldly desires, we should learn to practice in a targeted manner. You can practice many Dharma at the same time, but you need to have a primary and secondary practice. The difference between the Buddha-figures and the special qualities can be practiced separately.
Therefore, Dunzhu Rinchen taught the master to remove the unrelated karma and subdue the demonic obstacles, and to cultivate the Vajrapani Bodhisattva, which is mainly punished. Of course, if the generation stage is cultivated well, Vajrapani Bodhisattva can also attain the cause of increasing interest, as is true for any Buddha-figure.
In order to gain wisdom and wisdom, the Sect Master has been practicing Manjushri and the Goddess of Wonderful Sound, and has personally met the Buddha-figures. Since then, he has far surpassed ordinary people in terms of hearing, eloquence, theory, and enlightenment.
Manjushri and the Celestial Maiden of Wonderful Sound are both Lord Wisdom. As the lion Manjushri, in addition to Prajna wisdom, he has a great blessing for the learning of the five crafts in the world. The same is true for the Wonderful, Divine Girl, which helps with memory, comprehension, and writing.
For the practice of wisdom, the master did not practice Guanyin and Vajrapani, which was naturally from the special virtue of the bodhisattva. Guanyin and Vajrapani also possess the wisdom and virtue of perfection, but their manifested will and character are more inclined to great compassion and strength.
If you want to prolong your life, then you need to practice Amitayus Buddhism, and if you want to achieve good karma, gain wealth, and practice the Heavenly King of Treasures. Later, in order to build a temple, the Sect Master offered the treasure to the Heavenly King, and the next day the offerings gathered.
In order to get rid of the obstacles, practice Mahakala.
All deities can be seen as manifestations of different aspects of the nature of all beings. Such as the wisdom of Lord Manjushri, the Lord of Avalokiteshvara Lord compassion, and the Lord Vajrapani Lord power. When you practice one deity, you can also gain the merits of other deities.
From this, we can also be inspired to choose the Dharma in a targeted manner, to quickly solve practical problems, and even to fulfill the great wish of Bodhi.
Due to the long-term loss of Tang Mi in China, he did not seek to understand the mantra, thinking that as long as he recited it sincerely, it was not necessary to know the mantra.
This view has been around for a long time, really?
Some people say that if you know what it means, you have delusions. Not really. Because the minds of sentient beings are scattered, whether they know the meaning or not, they will have mixed thoughts.
In his Treatise on the Falvat, Fondaan Acharya said:
"Dharani is the general holding, which is the mantra in the mouth, and this is called the mantra, and the cover indicates how the dharma nature rotates through the sound of speech. This is the realm of internal evidence. Interpret it with consciousness, and every time it falls, the mantra will never be translated. However, without any explanation, the scholar falls into the fog every five miles, and the functions of the various spells are not distinguished, but when the effect is significant, there is some comfort, and in the end it is just inconceivable.
It is necessary to know the intention of the truth, and the power is great, and the intention is to complement each other. “
Acharya said that it is necessary to know the secret meaning of the truth, and that after practice, it is very powerful. Otherwise, it is just a verbal thought, like falling into the clouds, until there is a feeling, and there is no comfort.
Therefore, in the Eastern Secret, the mantra verses, Acharya will explain the profound meaning, although the Dharma nature cannot be explained, but you can also get a glimpse of its intention.
Dongmi is like this, which naturally comes from the true biography of Tang Mi. We see that some of the mantras translated by the three great scholars of the Kaiyuan Dynasty are translated into the mantras. It's just more of a mantra to pass it on.
If you study Sanskrit and read the meaning of the Great Compassion Mantra, you will know that it contains a lot of words and phrases for relieving calamities, curing diseases, and removing the three poisonous habits and afflictions. This also corresponds to the merits proclaimed by Guanyin Bodhisattva in the Dharani Sutra of Great Compassion with a Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes.
The Guanyin Bodhisattva's series of seeking to hear and hold the dharani contains Sanskrit mantras that enhance memory, hearing, wisdom, and hearing.
Therefore, people who do not understand Sanskrit may think that every mantra is the same. But the Esoteric Acharya will tell you the meaning and tell you the mantras. Because different Buddha-figure mantras have different dharma and special qualities.
For example, if you want to increase your memory, you can recite the Void Tibetan Bodhisattva's mantra of seeking hearing and holding the mantra, and Guanyin Bodhisattva's seeking hearing and holding dharani.
Isn't it easier and more direct for you to recite the dharani, which contain words and phrases for healing and healing, as opposed to the various mantras in which the mantras contain words of hearing and wisdom?
The answer is yes.
Why is it that many people gain merit very quickly after reciting the mantra of the Firm Divine Being? Because there is a Sanskrit word for merit in the mantra.
The one hundred and eight dharani of the great auspicious goddess also have a spell to summon the valley of wealth.
The general of Baoxian, Dharani, is said by the Buddha himself. What is the secret meaning of its Sanskrit translation?
The gist of the mantra is as follows:
Take refuge in the Three Jewels and salute the Great Medicine Fork of Baoxian. That is, the mantra is said:
Baoxian, Baoxian, Baoxian, Baoxian
Baoxian, Baoxian, Baoxian, Baoxian
Baoxian, Baoxian, Baoxian, Baoxian
Baoxian, Baoxian, Baoxian, Baoxian
All my possessions have made it possible for me. Accomplishments.
Good comes to the golden mane, good comes to the golden mane, good comes to the golden mane.
A complete achievement.
At the beginning of the whole mantra, it is to take refuge in the Three Jewels. This is true of many mantras, and the Three Jewels are the root of the Dharma, the source of the flow of the Dharma. General Bao Xian is also liberated in Buddhism.
Then salute the deity of the great general. According to the Treasure God Ritual, the eight generals under the throne of Bishamen Heaven are all manifested by the Bodhisattvas of the Eight Lands. The Yellow God of Wealth, the General of Baoxian and the General of Scattered Fat are all dependents of the King of Bishamen.
Then recite the name of General Baoxian sixteen times, and add syllables between the names. The recitation is like constantly and urgently calling for General Baoxian, urging him to come forward quickly and accomplish all the undertakings for the practitioners.
The name is followed by a clear mantra to increase wealth, accomplishing all possessions. This is also the Ted of General Baoxian. Chanting corresponds directly to the attainment of merit wealth.
At the end of the mantra is a sentence that summons the golden mane, which also corresponds to dignity and wealth.
Therefore, if you want to increase your wealth and merit, remember to recite the Great Treasure Commander Dharani:
Nam Radnadrayaya. There is no Mani Bhadra in the south.
