Chapter 226: The Difference Between Life and Death
When the fox demon duo entered the seventeenth layer of hell gate, the scene presented to the two of them was: an endless sea, but this sea is different?
It seemed to be like the bitter sea where the evil spirit had been punished, and there were many black shadows floating in the water.
Not only that, but there were also many crocodiles, poisonous snakes, sharks, and so on in the water, and there were many crocodiles, poisonous snakes, sharks, and so on, and they jumped around in groups, making the fox and demon two shudder.
When the fox demon saw that it was the terrifying sea of bitterness again, they suddenly trembled with fright, and their legs kept trembling---。 At that moment, I suddenly saw an arhat walking towards the two of them from the seaside, and when he saw the fox demon duo, he laughed and said, "Haha!
After hearing this, the fox demon nodded in fright and agreed: "Please spare your life...... Have the two fox demons repented of their mistakes, renounced evil and turned to good, and begged the great immortal Arhats not to let them enter that sea of suffering to be punished?"
As soon as the words fell, I saw the joyful Arhat laugh and said, "Haha! Amitabha, don't be in a hurry...... Don't worry!
The two donors must first answer two questions to the deity: if you two answer correctly, the deity will let you both out.
If the two of you answer wrong, then the deity will punish the two of you into that sea of suffering, so that you two will never be able to get out----!
The first question is, "Why do you two have to survive?" The second question is: Is there any difference between life and death?
Yehu pondered for a moment and replied: "Our two brothers and sisters, because they went against the sky, did not know the height of the sky, violated the laws and prohibitions in the Yin Division, and did bad things in the world, and were condemned by the judge to be guilty of a catastrophe.
That's why I came to survive in this eighteen-layer hell, and I hope that all the great immortals and arhats will show mercy and forgive the two of us!
The two of us have gone through several checkpoints and all kinds of hardships, and now we have repented and admitted our mistakes, and we are willing to believe in Buddhism and do good!"
When the joyful arhat heard this, he asked, "Two donors, the deity asks you two again, what is the difference between life and death?"
As soon as the words fell, he saw the demon reply loudly: "This person lives in the world, he can eat well, dress warmly, enjoy all the glory and wealth, and see the beautiful scenes in the world, which is a happy and happy enjoyment."
But once a person dies, he becomes a ghost. The ghost can only fall into the dark, dark, damp, and bird-free underworld—Hell.
Not only that, but the ghosts who have committed mistakes, done evil, and committed sins in their lives will be thrown into that sea of suffering and punished!
Although it was the sin they created in their previous lives, they went to the underworld after death and got their due retribution. But who doesn't want to have more wealth in the world, and to feed and dress his family well, and enjoy the glory and wealth of the world?
I think this is the biggest difference between life and death? If you ask what is the difference? There is only one difference? Those who believe in Buddhism and do good in the world, they live in the world without being greedy, nor doing bad things, nor doing evil things, nor evil things.
He also believed in Buddhism and did good deeds, honored his parents, and loved his children, and did many good deeds for the world.
After they die, not only will they not be punished in the underworld, but they will not go to the animal path?
Instead, they were brought ashore across the river, relieved of the suffering of the six realms of reincarnation, and immediately reincarnated as a human being. This is called: Good has a good end, and evil has an evil reward!"
When the demon was finished, the joyful Arhat clapped his hands and laughed, "Haha! Amitabha, how good...... Wonderful!
The deity really didn't expect that the two benefactors were extremely perceptive, gifted and intelligent--- since they knew their mistakes and repented, and were willing to believe in Buddhism and do good, and strive to survive---!!
As soon as the words fell, the joyful Arhat instantly opened the gate of the eighteenth layer of hell, and the fox demon and the two entered the eighteenth layer of hell.
