Chapter 6: Strange Rats

The moonlight was shining and the room was silent.

On the bed, I saw Liu Zifeng sitting cross-legged, his body seemed to be covered with blue light, and his resolute but slightly immature face could be seen. His long hair fluttered, and he had words in his mouth, as if he was practicing some great method.

Then, as soon as his mantra changed, the posture of his hands pinching the mantra also changed suddenly. Press one hand to your chest and point the other hand forward.

I only heard a "poof" sound, and a sharp finger wind swept by, and a faint blue light shot out from his fingertips and landed on the floor of the room, and a small hole the size of a finger suddenly appeared. After doing this, I saw that he was covered in blue light, and he let out a long breath, his hand changed, and he slowly closed his work.

Liu Zifeng raised his hand and wiped his forehead, as if this technique was not as easy as it seemed, and only he knew a thing or two about the obscurity and mystery in it.

However, this one scared something enough.

I saw that the little thing that was napping comfortably, jumped up from the ground in a "sudden" way, like a frightened rabbit, with hair blowing up all over his body, looking at Liu Zifeng in disbelief, and a pair of small eyes kept turning.

Liu Zifeng also looked at the little thing that accompanied him at this time, it didn't matter if he looked at it, and his eyes suddenly froze.

The hair on the little mouse's body exploded, and in the moonlight, you could clearly see the position of the golden lines at the root of the hair!

The little thing seemed to have discovered a small hole in the ground at this time, ran over with a smoke, poked out its nose and sniffed lightly, and then stretched out its paws rather curiously and scratched the small hole a few times.

I saw that it took out a lot of dirt and gravel, and while digging it, its pink nose kept sniffing. After a while, as if smelling something, he let out a "squeak" scream. Then, he ran to Liu Zifeng's side.

I saw it standing on its hind legs, its forelimbs cocked, and its two little paws constantly gesturing in the air. Then, he ran around the ground a few more times. Then, I saw that the little thing was holding the ground with one paw, and the other was caressing its belly, with a look of intoxication.

Liu Zifeng was dumbfounded, only thinking that this little thing was stupid, and he didn't know what to smoke when he was dancing.

Seeing that he didn't make any movement except for a suspicious face, the mouse couldn't help but get anxious, slipped over and bit the hem of the willow trench coat. Unexpectedly, this fangs were very fierce, and with a "stab", the clothes were torn open.

Liu Zifeng was angry at that time, and said in his mouth: "You little thing with no conscience, I kindly fed you dry food and let you sleep in the house, why don't you know Entu and tear my clothes?"

Liu Zifeng got up and wanted to give the little thing a little color to see, but saw that it hurriedly ran to the small hole, and saw that the small hole had been dug out a lot of dirt by it with its claws.

The little guy stood next to the small hole, a pair of little paws and gestured again and again, pointing to the small hole for a while, pointing to the willow wind for a while, and "squeaking" in his anxious mouth.

Liu Zifeng was stunned for a moment, and said to the little guy: "You mean, let me cut this place?"

The mouse seemed to be psychic, and when he saw that he understood, he immediately smiled with joy and nodded his head again and again. Liu Zifeng couldn't help but be amazed, but said in his mouth: "What's down there?"

The little thing shook its head like a rattle when it heard this, shook its head again and again, and spread its little paws, which meant that it didn't know either.

But in an instant, it pointed to the bottom and touched its belly, and its face showed a look of human intoxication.

Liu Zifeng frowned, not knowing what the hell it was doing. This little thing performed three times and twice to make him feel inexplicable. And this little thing is quite clever and can speak human language, thinking of this, even he was curious.

This little thing made a fuss, and it also made Liu Zifeng feel a lot easier. I saw him get up and get out of bed, walk to the place where he was shot by a blue light just now, and look intently.

The small hole was pitted, and there were many traces of gouging around it, one after another small paw prints were all over it, apparently a good deed done by that little thing.

At this moment, he saw the little mouse scurrying down from his collar, grasping a little bit of dirt with his little paws, putting it on the tip of his nose and sniffing it, making a "squeak" sound, and his face was full of intoxication.

Liu Zifeng was startled, but he didn't expect this guy to be so bold, and he actually climbed on his shoulder at some point, and he came down from his shoulder just now.

He looked at the mouse with a satisfied look, like a drunken man who smelled the peerless immortal brew, he was so drunk that he was a little speechless. But he was also curious in his heart, and couldn't help but reach out like the mouse, stick some dirt on his fingertips, and put it under the tip of his nose to smell it.

The smell is warm and fragrant, quiet and cold, mixed with the smell of fresh earth, very strange.

Liu Zifeng turned his head to look at the little guy, but the little thing was also squinting at him. Seeing him coming, he hurriedly lowered his head and sniffed his paws, and continued to indulge in dissatisfaction.

The room was pitch black, except for the moonlight shining through the window lattice.

Liu Zifeng got up and groped around the house, and then he heard a "click" sound, and a spark jumped in the darkness. After a while, I saw him come with an oil lamp, and the room suddenly became much brighter.

At the same time, he also carried a small shovel common in the village in his other hand, squatted on the edge of the small hole, and dug up the soil one by one.

The little thing saw that Liu Zifeng had moved, and shoveled out the soil one by one, and I don't know how many times faster than it was digging with its claws, and it was also happy. I saw it keep "squeaking" around the small hole, and after screaming for a while, it seemed to feel tired, and suddenly slipped on Liu Zifeng's shoulder, and quietly watched him dig out of the earth.

One person and one rat, extremely strange in this room, one sweating profusely digging the soil, the other "squeaking" from time to time, as if cheering, very funny.

Fortunately, the soil in the village is mostly soft, and the villagers can easily build their houses, with a layer of small hard gravel on the ground, and then the cracks in the stone are smoothed out with mud. The same is true of Liu Zifeng's family, but the gravel on the surface of the small hole has been shattered by him with a single blow.

The soil was soft and dry, and the further he dug down, the more surprised he became. The soil became loose and damp, and the further down it went, it became harder and harder, and a hint of cold air came out.

After about a cup of tea, Liu Zifeng panted and stopped his movements, revealing a small pit a few feet wide.

The soil in the pit was covered with ice crystals, which was extremely hard, making Liu Zifeng a little unbearable. Then the little thing came down from his shoulder, pointed at the hole and the oil lamp, and made a gesture to put it down.

Liu Zifeng was stunned for a moment, then brought the flickering oil lamp over and slowly put it down.

With a "whew", the oil lamp went out. Immediately after, a "squeak" scream rang out.

Liu Zifeng was inexplicable and turned his head to look. I saw that under the white moonlight, the little thing was lying on the ground, rolling around, two little paws covering its stomach, and "squeaking" in its mouth.

Liu Zifeng looked at the crazy mouse, and then looked at the extinguished oil lamp in his hand, and his face darkened. He didn't know that the rat was laughing at him. Suddenly, a blue light appeared on his body, and he hit the ground in front of the little thing with a "poof".

The little thing was also startled, seeing that Liu Zifeng's face was not good-looking, and he no longer did those antics. As soon as he got up and ran into the corner, he saw it take a dry branch in his mouth, run back, and throw it into the pit.

Liu Zifeng also understood what he meant, got up and brought half a bundle of firewood for the fire, filled about two-thirds of the hole, and then lit the fire with flint, and after lighting the dry branches, he did not forget to light the extinguished oil lamp and put it aside.

After a while, after the branches had burned away, Liu Zifeng looked down again, and saw that the ice had melted a lot.

So, he dug down with another shovel.

It didn't matter this time, I only heard a crisp sound of "bang", and the shovel didn't know what it had touched. The next moment, I saw the dirt under the pit "squirming" down. Liu Zifeng was startled, and hurriedly crawled out with his hands and feet, and looked down in shock.

The little thing was also frightened, "squeaked" and screamed, and almost fell off Liu Zifeng's shoulder.

The dirt scattering lasted only a moment before it stopped. Liu Zifeng rushed down to look, only to see a small open space exposed below, and there was a faint light. Through the subtle light, one can see the stairs stretching forward, not knowing where they lead. A fragrant cold air like a smell came from the entrance.

At this time, the oil lamp in the house "snorted" softly, and I don't know whether it was disturbed by the air conditioner or the lamp oil burned out and went out. For a moment, only Liu Zifeng and the mouse were left, watching the bright light at the entrance of the cave flicker.

A moment later, the rat jumped off Liu Zifeng's shoulder and slipped into the hole with a puff of smoke. Immediately afterwards, a "squeak" sound came, and the cry was full of urgency. Liu Zifeng was curious, gritted his teeth and jumped down, landed on the steps and swayed, and then looked forward.

A path leads diagonally to the front, and on both sides of the path are inlaid with fist-sized white beads, emitting a faint white light. With the help of the light, Liu Zifeng looked at the steps made of bluestone slabs under his feet, leading to the front step by step.

The little thing was bouncing up and down one of the stone steps, and when he saw the willow wind coming down, he slipped back again, and skillfully climbed up his shoulder, and with a strange "squeak" in his mouth, he pointed along the way.

It was hazy in the distance, Liu Zifeng couldn't see it really, and when he heard the strange screams in his ears, he moved his feet and walked forward.

Underneath the darkness, the light flickered as if it were breathing, and it was eerie and cold.

For a long time, as the breath became thicker and thicker, Liu Zifeng was shivering from the cold, and finally came to the end of the steps.

With one step, the glowing beads in the passage suddenly lit up, and then all of them went out.

Appearing in front of Liu Zifeng, it is a cave the size of a few zhang, the cave is full of gloomy air, and the cold wind gusts, all of which slowly rotate around an object in the center.

It was a lotus flower the size of a foot, with a strange dark blue color all over its body, exuding bursts of cold air. The flowers have nine petals, all of which are crystal clear, holding the dark blue lotus canopy among them, and a trace of inexplicable fragrance is coming out of it and wafting around.
