Chapter 25 A Han Enlightenment

ps: Thank you Chen Tianxin, Yangzhigang, Lingsu Jushi, Immortal Bird, Gate Frame and other Taoist friends for their rewards. At the same time, I would like to thank the Taoist friends for their encouragement with monthly passes. The Spring Festival is over, I wonder if you are still at ease?

In the face of Zhao Ran's gossip, the monk had no intention of concealing it, because he said: "As the abbot of a temple, I have to think more about the future livelihood of the temple." This golden-winged giant centipede is not unusual, but it is a blind prescription for medicine, specializing in treating the symptoms of detachment encountered in the cultivation of Buddhism...... Then forget it, it's very troublesome to explain, and in short, it's useless for you cultivators. ”

Zhao Ran saw that the monk's words did not seem to be fake, so he didn't inquire further.

After saying goodbye, the monk Shi Shiran left, he came to the swamp this time mainly to catch several poisonous insects, including the golden-winged centipede, the golden-winged centipede already has it, and there are other insects that need to be searched for in a hurry.

I didn't know how far I had walked out, but the monk suddenly stopped, feeling as if he had forgotten something, so he found a clean place to sit down and think about it. After pondering for half an hour, the monk finally woke up, patted his head with regret, and said in his heart: "Kuye, my treasure scriptures, and Du Mu are all in the hands of that bull's nose!"

The monk hurriedly hurried back to the place where he was separated from Zhao Ran, only to see that the lawn was empty, where was Zhao Ran's shadow?

After saying that after separating from the monk, Zhao Ran saw that the other party was far away, so he hurriedly turned around, spread his feet and ran. He went to the secluded place to drill, made a big circle, and ran back to the cave where he was sleeping.

Laying down the magic circle at the entrance of the cave, Zhao Ran sat down, took out the "Ahan's Difficult Sutra" in his arms, and began to study it carefully.

There is no explanation of the origin of this Sutra. Zhao Ran stumbled to read the back, and only then did he probably get half clear. "Ahan" is a Sanskrit transliteration, which is handed down, or the meaning summarized by the predecessors. The scriptures are short, with only three chapters. The first chapter is the "Changming Bodhisattva Mantra", reciting this mantra can lead to evil thoughts in people's hearts, the stronger the evil thoughts, the greater the damage, this mantra has the meaning of retribution for good and evil.

Seeing this, Zhao Ran couldn't help but touch his nose. Is the evil thoughts in your heart really that strong?

The second chapter is called "The Mantra of the Bodhisattva of Rebirth", reciting this mantra can prevent the lonely soul and wild ghost from going straight to reincarnation, cultivating to the highest depths, and even directly beating the living into the six realms, which of the six realms is it. It depends on the good fortune of this person's life.

The third chapter is even more remarkable, called "The Mantra of the Bodhisattva of Merit", reciting this mantra can purify all sentient beings and lead those destined to the Western Heavenly Bliss.

Zhao Ran has tasted the taste of the Changming Bodhisattva mantra, and Zhao Ran can also imagine the general scene of the Bodhisattva mantra in the past life, what the effect of this meritorious bodhisattva mantra will be after it is recited, Zhao Ran has no concept at all.

Zhao Ran is a traverser and has no prejudice against Buddhism. But after all, compared to being a monk, he is more willing to live a leisurely monastic career, not to mention that he has received more than two years of orthodox education after coming to this world. It can be regarded as a sense of responsibility as a Taoist priest. But this does not prevent him from understanding the Buddhist exercises, and it is not a bad thing to even try it out if it is possible.

He remembered that the monk Jueyuan once mentioned that the cultivation of the Tao is focused on the roots and qualifications, and the cultivation of the Buddha emphasizes the understanding, and the understanding is for people. It can't be measured concretely, so Buddhism thinks. Everyone can practice Buddhism, as for the results of practice. There is a world of difference depending on the difference in understanding.

According to this understanding, Zhao Ran should also have understanding, but it is not clear whether it is high or low. Now that you have the understanding, you can try to practice the Buddhist exercises.

But it's a pity that Zhao Ran only realized when he was interpreting the commentaries of his predecessors in the scriptures, and he couldn't cultivate it for the time being. Although this sutra contains all the steps of the practice from beginning to end, the key is that there are two parts that he is unable to handle.

The whole process is very simple, it is nothing more than reciting the mantra constantly, and it is necessary to uphold sincere respect and repentance, pay attention to the understanding of the scriptures during recitation, visualize the artistic conception of the mantra, and finally achieve the sense of Buddha-nature - the "Buddha-nature" is also specifically described in the commentary, that is, the black and white factor in the Buddha's light.

Tong Lao once taught Zhao Ran how to "see" "Qi", and Tong Lao said that "Qi" is the light that Buddhism says, and Jueyuan also mentioned that "light" is "sex". Zhao Ran's problem is that he has no roots and bones, and he can't be in harmony with "Qi", and in the cultivation system of the Daomen, a person like him has no future in cultivation. So Zhao Ran now wants to change it and try it with the method system of Buddhism to see if it can be compatible with the Buddha's "light" or Buddha's "nature".

However, practice must not be taken out of context, and it is self-defeating to casually intercept a passage of scriptures and methods to practice. Regardless of Buddhism, there is a complete ideological system supporting its practice, and if we cannot understand this ideological system as a whole, it is impossible to fundamentally understand and comprehend the method we want to practice.

And now if he wants to practice Buddhism, he can't get past the two hurdles of "understanding" and "visualization" -- he hasn't even read the most basic Buddhist scriptures, so how can he understand and visualize? This question is easier to understand from another angle: If he has not read the Taoist Sutra of the Four Sons, it is impossible to cultivate the Tao anyway.

Therefore, Zhao Ran could only abruptly stop his attempt, and he had to wait until he had the opportunity to get Buddhist scriptures to study in the future.

When "A Han's Difficult Enlightenment" turned to the last page, a light yellow page scroll slipped out, and Zhao Ran picked it up and saw that it was the degree of the monk Jueyuan. On the right is a large row of unclear titles and Dharma names, in the middle of the line is written in large letters, "Mu Fu ordained disciple Jueyuan Receipt", and on the left are several seals and signatures.

Zhao Ran had an idea, took out the cord in his waist, and tried it on this degree, but the cord did not react in the slightest. He was about to put pen to pen to change the word "Jueyuan" to "Zhao Ran", and then thought about it, I am afraid that such a random change would be too child's play, and it was unreliable, so he hesitated to stop, after all, this degree is the guy who eats Jueyuan, and he really wants to destroy it so lightly, it is really unreasonable - in fact, the key is that it is useless. Of course, he did not rule out the possibility of giving it a try when he had a second degree in the future.

The first attempt to practice Buddhism was unsuccessful, and after sitting in the cave without incident, Zhao Ran decided to go out and take a walk. He is not afraid of meeting the monk Jueyuan, anyway, he can't fight him, it's a big deal to meet and fight again, and it's not bad to have a long experience. The worst possibility is just to return the scriptures and Du Mu to Jueyuan, I have never forgotten it, I have already memorized the scriptures, and there is no loss in returning it.

Putting away the array plate, Zhao Ran walked out of the cave, thought about it at the entrance of the cave, and planned to explore the way in the direction of Ruoergai Snow Mountain. On the one hand, you can go to find your own beautiful sister, and on the other hand, you can also find some fierce beasts and poisonous insects along the way to temper and temper your formation skills, which can be regarded as an increase in experience points.

Yesterday's three consecutive fights made Zhao Ran's self-confidence swell a little, and he even imagined that maybe the beautiful sister had encountered an accident and was waiting for him to show his might?

Ruoergai Snow Mountain is very eye-catching, in any corner of the swamp, as long as you look up, you can see the white peak, like a passage connecting heaven and earth, it seems that there is always a sharp angle deep above the clouds.

Zhao Ran turned the hillside, walked through the woods, skirted the marsh, and waded through the shallow stream...... Well, in fact, in the Swamp, it's all the same way. By noon, Zhao Ran had already walked about three or four miles, during which he controlled the formation to hunt and kill a group of poisonous bees, and was feasting on the hive at the moment.

After eating the honey in the hive, Zhao Ran casually threw it aside, and when he was thinking about what to catch for lunch to fill his stomach, he stopped.

There was another monk walking on the other side, but not Jueyuan.

This monk is very old, and he is not as handsome as Jueyuan, but in Zhao Ran's words, he is quite temperamental! He is wearing a brocade robe and robe, and there are Buddha beads made of green jade on his chest.

Judging from the physiognomy alone, Zhao Ran's impression of this monk is quite good, and with the factor of Monk Jueyuan, he is not very nervous about seeing this monk - of course, no matter what the situation, ensuring his own safety first is the first priority, so he still quietly laid down the magic circle before the monk came over.

"Amitabha, the poor monk has saluted this little Taoist. "The great monk twisted beads in one hand and saluted with the other, and his attitude was quite amiable.

Seeing that this monk generously entered the range of his magic circle, without the slightest sense of defense, and the courtesy was quite thoughtful, Zhao Ran added three points to his favor: "Master is merciful, Xiaodao has seen the master." ”

"The master doesn't dare to be, just call the poor monk a great monk...... The poor monk is looking for a female benefactor, I wonder if the little Taoist has ever seen it?"

"Who is the great monk talking about?"

"This female benefactor has an outstanding complexion, her cultivation is unfathomable, she carries a glass palace lamp and rides a sika deer, known as the Seventh Aunt. I just don't know where I am now, can the little Taoist be willing to tell me?" (to be continued)
