Many of the monks present were not mortals, even if the old man's muttering voice was relatively small, but they could still hear it, and suddenly there was a burst of laughter, Yuan Yi also heard it, but the fool would pay attention to him, and when he came here to sweep, he could see if the old man was still smiling.

Yuan Yi never imagined that one day, he would settle down in the stomach of aphids, but the truth is so cruel that in order to gamble on stones, he had to find a cave in this market that is not too good and not too bad, as a place for his meditation.

After coming to this market, Yuan Yi immediately sat down cross-legged. Meditation began.

A practitioner who is able to absorb and disperse his mind and concentrate on one state is the so-called concentration, and he can recite a method of meditation and give birth to all kinds of samadhi. That is, the cultivation of thinking, depending on meditation, can give birth to all kinds of merits, that is, the so-called forest of merits.

These are the three realms of meditation, the most basic concentration, the absence of distracting thoughts in the mind, this is concentration. Later, when you give birth to all kinds of three flavors, you enter the realm of mental cultivation, and in the end, you meditate in it. All of them can give birth to all kinds of merits, that is, they have entered the jungle of merit in the highest realm.

Meditation is a method of practice for Buddhist practitioners, which can purify the mind and exercise wisdom in order to enter the realm of the truth of the Dharma. Meditation is to become a Buddha, and there is a saying in Buddhism that it is called Zen flavor. Dead waters don't hide dragons.

Yuan began to meditate, the first step is to be fixed, for a monk like Yuan Yi who has been cultivating for many years, if he wants to let himself enter that state of being free of distractions, it is not a piece of cake. So he quickly entered, but he was determined. It's not a big set, it's a small set. If there is any situation outside now, he will wake up immediately, but the patriarch of Bodhidharma was not awakened by a bird nesting on his body, that is the great determination.

Therefore, in order to attain this great concentration, Yuan Yi immediately put aside his mind and calmed down, and then recited the Heart Sutra, "Contemplating the Bodhisattva of Freedom and Doing the Profound Prajnaparamita." Seeing that the five aggregates are all empty, the degree of one qiē suffering, the relics, the color is not different from the emptiness, the emptiness is not different from the color, the color is the emptiness, the emptiness is the color, and the same is true when you want to do it. The relics are the emptiness of all the laws, neither born nor destroyed, neither dirty nor pure, neither increased nor decreased......".

In meditation, the Bodhisattva of Avalokiteshvara has his own unique opinion, "When he walks deep in Prajnaparamita, he sees that the five aggregates are empty, and he is suffering in one qiē", the so-called "walking deep" is meditation and deep concentration, and the Bodhisattva of Avalokiteshvara found in meditation that when the five aggregates are empty, that is, when there is no self, the troubles and sufferings of one qiē will be liberated, and the Bodhisattva of Avalokiteshvara is to obtain this pure great wisdom in concentration and attain great freedom.

In this way, Yuan Yi constantly recited the Heart Sutra to achieve stillness, first to enter meditation, to enter a state of tranquility, and to try not to think about other things.

The meditation lasted for a quarter of an hour, and then there was a breakthrough, and when I entered the silence, all the miscellaneous thoughts in my heart were eliminated, and I had no thoughts.

Thirty days later, he entered silence, and the whole world became a dead thing, and even if there was a sound from the outside world at this time, it could not affect him, because in his heart, the whole world, as long as he was alone, and everything else was not existing, so naturally he would not be affected by the things that did not exist.

And at this time, he finally entered the Great Concentration, just like the Bodhidharma, even if there was a bird building a nest on him at this time, he would not have any induction, and he would not even wake up, and the reason why he was able to advance to this realm so quickly was that his decades of zazen experience in his previous life gave him a lot of help.

Two months later, he entered the realm of self-forgetfulness, in the realm of silence, he can only regard external things as if they do not exist, but he can't ignore his own existence, feel the sound of his breathing, the sound of his heartbeat, he can still sense that he is still alive, so that he really exists.

But at this point, he completely forgot himself, his mouth and nose stopped breathing, his heart stopped beating, as if he was dead, at this time, he couldn't sense his own existence, as if he was no longer a person, a living person, this is the real selflessness.

And at this time, he finally entered a new realm from Dading, that is, the three flavors, these three flavors, is not the term of Taoism, but Buddhism, the reason why Taoism is engaged in a samadhi true fire, is not because of the later collision of Buddhism and Taoism culture, just like the king of Hades and hell, originally the Daomen did not have Hades and hell, and it was introduced from Buddhism.

When a practitioner enters the realm of self-forgetfulness, his heart stops beating and his breath does not continue, at this time, people are like dead people, like dead wood, so it is also called dead wood Zen.

It's just that at this time, people are not dead, although there is no breathing, no heart beating, but in the human body, there will be three flavors of this special energy, change the state of life, even if people do not breathe, the heart does not beat, can still survive.

And this kind of three flavors is concentration, and through guò meditation, it produces a special power, which is able to sustain the continuation of life, and secondly, it can constantly refine the body and soul of the person, so that it can be sublimated by life.

In the previous life, wasn't there that kind of old monk who sat for decades and still couldn't die, they just produced this kind of concentration, which was able to sustain the continuation of life, and after meditation, the vitality gained by leaps and bounds. (To be continued)
