Chapter 1186 Hon-figure modeling
But if that's the case, then why is there still an immeasurable Buddha-figure method in the Dharma?
The Dharmakaya of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas is everywhere, and one of them has immeasurable merits, but in the actual dependent origination, due to the difference in the vows of the Buddha-figure and the manifestation of the dependent origination, there will be their own special virtues, and the Dharma cultivation of sentient beings will also correspond to this special virtue.
For example, from the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara itself, an immeasurable Buddha-figure has been conjured: the Yeyi Guanyin, who has the ability to cure various diseases, the Thousand-Armed Guanyin, who saves the beings of hell, the Lion's Roar Guanyin, who saves the diseases caused by the dragon clan and the earth gods, and the Matou Guanyin, who has manifested to subdue the demonic obstacles...... And each incarnation of Guanyin has all the merits of the Great Pessimistic Guanyin, and each has its own special virtues, thus forming an incredible Buddha-figure sea meeting like a mote of dust.
This is from the point of view of the Buddha-figure sea meeting, and if we look at the details, the same Buddha-figure, with different shapes, will also produce slightly different merits after the practice, such as the standing statue and the sitting statue of the Daikokuten.
Factors such as the shape, posture, instruments, and wear of the Buddha-figure you offer will have a significant bearing on your merits, dharma experience, actual fortune, and even fate.
Jizo Bodhisattva, holding a Mani orb in his left hand and a tin staff in his right. Both of these objects are manifestations of the qualities of the Jizo Bodhisattva, the tin rod is used to represent the three learnings of removing obstacles, purification, and precepts, and the Mani orb is the origin of abundance and fulfillment of wishes. In the past, there was a person who was suffering from a disease and invited a statue of Jizo Bodhisattva from a Buddhist furniture shop to make offerings of incense every day, without chanting sutras or holding mantras. But soon after, he dreamed that Jizo Bodhisattva was curing him, and when he woke up, he found that he was mostly cured. When he found out that it worked, he asked the Bodhisattva for a wife and a house, and soon fulfilled his wishes, so he began to recite the Jizo Sutra.
Just making an offering has such an effect, which shows the great merit of making offerings to Jizo Bodhisattvas. In a large number of Jizo Bodhisattva induction records, there are especially many who cure serious illnesses and disasters, exceedance, and those who cultivate the Jizo Sutra and successfully start a business and become rich, and those who are promoted, and those who seek wealth and wealth. There are many examples, and they all have to do with the merits of the Jizo Dharma that can make people clothed with abundance.
Like Jizo Bodhisattva, there is a powerful medicine fork general, who also holds a Mani orb, and he is the fat scattering medicine fork general.
The general of the scattered fat is one of the eight great medicine fork generals under the northern Bishamen Heavenly King, the commander of the twenty-eight ghosts and gods, and is actually the incarnation of the Great Bodhisattva.
Searching for the portrait of the fat general on the Internet, I found that there are many shapes, some of them are unable to use a weapon in their hands, and some are holding an iron axe in their left hands. The portraits in "Taishō Collection: Image Department" are different from those on the market today, and this is also the portrait painted by the ancient Tantric masters according to the classics, which is very different from the portraits formed by the evolution of later eras.
Offering different portraits will have different dependent manifestations. Nowadays, there are some Nepalese thangkas depicting the treasure king who is naked, much like the yellow god of wealth, which is unruly, pay attention. The clothing of the Treasure King is very important, his other duty is the God of War, how can it be suitable without armor, and if he chooses not to wear clothes, he will lack food and clothing, which is the origin.
Since dependent origin is so important, there must be a difference in the appearance of dependent origin between the general who is holding the Mani orb and the general who has nothing in his left hand in the image department of the Tripitaka Sutra.
Why does offering an image of a Buddha-figure have such an impact on people?
Mainly yoga corresponding. The word yoga comes from India and means: corresponding, one, unanimous, united. Buddha-figure yoga, guru yoga is Buddha-figure correspondence, guru correspondence. The corresponding Buddha-figure is to be one with the Buddha-figure, to be consistent. In the more straightforward scientific language of the world, it is to make one's frequency consistent with the Buddha-figure, and to make one's channel match with the Buddha-figure, that is, to make oneself the same as the Buddha-figure.
Burning incense every day to support the general will correspond to the general's dharma, that is, you have the dharma and merit represented by the general. The general holds a mani orb in his left hand, which corresponds to the merit mentioned in the scriptures: "I should give the students musical equipment, food, clothing, and fruits." or ask for men and women, boys and girls, gold and silver treasures, and all kinds of fine ornaments, and I will provide them all with whatever I wish. ”
The meaning of this sentence is: If someone receives my mantras (which includes chanting, making offerings, or goma, and practicing them day by day), I will give him all the necessary tools for life, food, clothing, flowers, fruits, and treasures, or for the survival of boys and girls, or pure unmarried couples, and ornaments such as gold, silver, and jewels, and so on, and I will provide them with all the things he has asked for, so that his wishes will be fulfilled.
It can be found here that the fat scattering will be of great help to reality. Benefiting the present life of the Buddha's disciples is also the duty of the heavenly protectors. It is often said that what is needed in a lifetime is marriage and career, or wealth and love, which can be blessed by fat generals. Money, partners, children and grandchildren, and all kinds of material needs, fat scattering generals can do it.
In fact, if it is really corresponding, such wishes in the world are a piece of cake in the eyes of the medicine fork general. For example, in ancient texts, I saw several records: There are non-human monsters possessed by people in a certain place, as long as that person wants something, the magic can quickly help. If they wanted cloth, after a while, the magic spirit put the expensive silk from the palace thousands of miles away in their house, but they didn't dare to ask for it because of the official seal. I wanted to eat something, and the thought moved, and soon someone automatically delivered it.
Their family wanted a child, and the magic brought a baby boy to put on the bed, but he couldn't raise it and died at the age of eight. These ghosts and gods in the world still have such power, not to mention the powerful protector of the Dharma, the commander of the twenty-eight ghosts and gods, and the general with the bodhisattva's certificate.
Vajrapani Bodhisattva's Dharma of the Attainment of the Heavenly and Human Medicine Fork Woman mentions that after the Medicine Fork Girl appears, you can get the people and things you want for you within a thousand years, and even in the world of sava. Since the power is so powerful, why are many Buddhists not very effective in cultivating?
The reason is that the Dharma Protector did not show up to help you do it.
There are people who raise little ghosts and offer fox fairies, and they have begun to have great benefits, which can make a person's career reach the peak and his popularity skyrocket. Some people fell very hard in the back, and the end was very miserable, or they had the trouble of becoming their dependents after death. But their miracle is a fact.
Why? Because there are little ghosts and fox fairies by their side to help.
Ordinary Buddhists, not living Buddhas, not masters, it is difficult for them to receive the help of the Great Protector from time to time. Because merit and cultivation are not enough, not enough to inspire. Not to mention that it's not easy to get the Dharma Protector to always be by your side to help. For example, the Heavenly King of Bishamen, who is of such a high rank and commands the immeasurable medicine fork generals, it is impossible for him to be by your side all day long to help you do some small things, and his envoys may be able to.
