Chapter 1177: Praise the Sadhana

Adan in the northwest holds a small palace in his right hand and a Tubao mouse in his left.

The five surnames of the God of Wealth, the Sanskrit name Jambhala, that is, the commonly known five surnames of the God of Wealth, people call them black, yellow, red, white, green God of Wealth according to the color of their bodies, their common image is a naked body, a straight belly, a slightly mild wrath on the face, holding objects such as spitting mouse, wishful fruit or jewelry. Among the five gods of wealth, the black god of wealth and the yellow god of wealth are sometimes depicted as guardian gods in the god of wealth protector thangka.

While the King of Fortune is the god of wealth, the four great kings are his protectors, and they are:

The east holds the country, holds the pipa, and commands all the Qianminpo,

The western wide-eyed sky, holding a snake (or rope), commanding the dragon kings;

The south grows the sky, holds the sword, and commands the doves and tea ghosts,

In the north, Bishamen Tian, holding a treasure building, spitting treasure rats

Command the nights again. They live in the east, west, south, and north of the mountainside of Mount Meru, and each guards a world.

Originally the son of the Indian god of creation, Brahma who impregnated a cow, he was expelled from the capital of Lanka (now Sri Lanka) by his half-brother King Rakshasa and later moved to the capital of Kailash Arrogya. Although he was expelled from his home, he became not only the god of wealth, but also the patron saint of the north because of his good cultivation and thousands of years of penance, and was given an immortal body by the great Brahma. The importance of Bishamonti in India is comparable to that of Ganesh. After the rise of Buddhism in India, Bishamantian often appeared in the story of the Buddha as the "Northern Heavenly King" among the "Four Heavenly Kings", guarding the Buddha and the Dharma. He commanded the Yaksha tribe and was stationed in the north of Mount Meru, the center of the world. In addition, it is also recorded in the Great Collection Sutra that it is the great responsibility of the Buddhas of the past, present, and future to protect the Buddhist areas of the world in which we live. With the spread of Buddhism in neighboring countries, Bishamantian traveled all the way from India to Central Asia, Chinese mainland, Tibet, and Japan. In Chinese mainland, the Chinese often refer to him as Duowentian, and the statues of the Four Heavenly Kings are often painted on the outer walls of monasteries and temples to protect Buddhism and monasteries. In addition, Khotan in the Western Regions revered Bishamentian as the god of war, and his belief was extremely strong. In Chinese Buddhism, it is believed that the Heavenly King of Treasure is the incarnation of Avalokiteshvara, possessing immeasurable wisdom and supernatural powers, great compassion, and saving sentient beings in distress.

Buddhism was introduced to Tibet from India around the 7th century AD. With the introduction of Buddhism, Bishamanten also came to Tibet, and his titles and positions changed and increased. Bishamentian, who came to Tibet, is still a deterrent and mighty warrior, holding a victory tower in his right hand and a Tubao mouse in his left hand, with a snow lion as a mount. The lion mount represents the attributes of the protector deity. While the other three heavenly kings on Mount Meru were still serving as guardian deities, Bishamantian had become the protector of wealth in Tibet, and he was in charge of the world's wealth in addition to the important task of protecting the Dharma.

In Tibetan Buddhism, in addition to being the protector of the Dharma with boundless power, Bishamen Heaven is also an important deity in the Gain Dharma, and is respected as the "Treasure King", which is the famous treasure deity, the leader of the God of Wealth, and is the embodiment of the Southern Treasure Buddha of the Five Buddhas, and there are many people in the Tibetan area who worship and worship the Treasure King. It is surrounded by the Eight Horse Gods of Wealth, who assist the Heavenly King of Wealth, uphold the Dharma, and satisfy sentient beings to accumulate merit and resources for the benefit of their cultivation.

The Heavenly King is dressed in great ornaments, wearing a crown of five Buddhas decorated with gold and precious stones, or wearing gold armor, or wearing heavenly robes, all kinds of treasures are all over his body, and two flowing green silk ribbons behind him wind to the lotus seat.

The Treasure King looked slightly angry, and with his right hand he erected and held the iconic victory tower decorated with various treasures, symbolizing the wealth and satisfaction he brought to people, as well as the precious rain and dew that are indispensable in the wind and rain, and in his left hand, he held the treasure rat "Nulie", which can turn into endless treasures, symbolizing the ability to give endless treasures.

The Treasure King sits on a red-maned white lion with a bodhisattva sitting on the ground, and the lion's mouth is wide open, so that he can not only talk about the Dharma, but also spit out all kinds of treasures. The king of heaven has the right sun and the left moon on his shoulders, and his body radiates like the light of the rising sun, and the treasure of the endless treasury is owned by him, and his subordinates have eight horses and the god of wealth, each of which is in charge of the eight heavenly treasures, and listens to the orders of the Buddhist practitioners who lack resources to save all the poor and poor beings.

The King of Treasure is as majestic as the light of a hundred thousand suns. He has great merit and is dedicated to protecting the wealth of all beings. He is responsible for the transformation of worldly merits and good fortunes, disseminating earthly wealth, upholding the Dharma, eliminating the challenges of demonic obstacles, purifying the heavens and people to achieve a great state of light. He can change his form in a variety of ways, and he can bestow treasures and subdue enemies according to the needs of the practitioner. If you recite the name of the Heavenly King, or recite the mantra of the Heavenly King, you will be blessed, and practicing this method will bring you good fortune.

Whoever has received the empowerment of the Treasure King Dharma in front of the Buddha-figure can make offerings, prayers, and diligently recite praises and mantras, and always practice compassion, joy, and good deeds for the benefit of all sentient beings, and with the great blessings of the Buddha-figure Treasure King and the God of Wealth of the Eight Paths, he will be able to have a smooth career, develop his ambitions, increase his wealth and prosperity, attract wealth and enter treasures, and seek wealth and fulfill his wishes, and he will be able to respond quickly. In addition to this, it can also remove obstacles and unhappiness from all sides, and fulfill all the wishes of sentient beings.
