The King of the Golden-winged Bird is no different from the Buddha, and has already understood that the sentient beings of the future world will encounter all kinds of evil storms, natural disasters, poisonous insects and beasts, etc., these things are originally the common karma of all sentient beings, the so-called Bodhisattva is afraid of the consequences of sentient beings, just as the Bodhisattva of the Earth will set up a wide range of convenience to save sentient beings from sin, and the same is true of the King of the Golden-winged Bird, he observed that sentient beings will suffer, so he said his own mantra in front of the Buddha without asking.

The mantra spoken by the King of the Golden-winged Bird has a characteristic, that is, it is powerful, just like when the Buddha was in Nirvana, the Generalissimo King Ming was in order to support the Dharma, so he pronounced the mantra of boundless divine power, but the mantra of the Generalissimo King Ming was too fierce and would harm sentient beings, and the Buddha was asked three times before agreeing.

The mantra uttered by the King of the Golden-winged Bird has immeasurable merits, it can protect all living beings, it can also protect the earth, and ensure the normal growth of grain and other food for all living beings, and if there is a storm or a natural disaster, if you recite the mantra seven times in great anger in a high place, the storm will naturally stop.

If all sentient beings in the world suffer at the same time and recite the holy name of Avalokiteshvara, Avalokiteshvara can also be saved at the same time, and the same is true of the King of the Golden-winged Bird, if the person who practices his mantra wants to protect all sentient beings, he must set up an altar.

The altar of Esoteric Buddhism has a deep secret meaning, the altar of the golden-winged bird king should be set up in a square, just like a mandala, in the east, west, north and south of the altar and in the center of each inserted an arrow, in the four corners of the altar must be placed with a vajra carved from rosewood, in the four corners of the five-color thread winding, in the center of the altar placed an incense burner, east, west, north and south sides of each to prepare offerings, so that the altar is arranged.

At this time, the practitioner can use white mustard seeds to bless the mantra of the golden-winged bird king five times and sprinkle it around as an enchantment, and the practitioner sits on the east side and reiterates the golden-winged bird king mantra one hundred and eight times without interruption, and then sits at the door of the secret room where the altar is placed and continues to recite it twenty-one times, so that for fifteen days of uninterrupted practice, all natural disasters, vicious storms and rains, including any poisonous insects and beasts that invade human beings, will immediately collapse and disappear, and regain their vitality, and the wind and rain will be smooth.

There is an example mentioned in the Sutra of Asking Guanyin, that is, at that time, the Tianzhu people were arrogant and lascivious, and they had a lot of karma, so they made the heavens abandon it, so five Yaksha appeared, openly absorbing people's essence and spreading epidemics, which made the king at that time very distressed.

Fortunately, after Shakyamuni Buddha knew, he immediately taught all sentient beings to ask for the Guanyin Dharma, and invited the three western saints of the Elysium to come, with the power of Guanyin Bodhisattva, to eliminate the epidemic and the harmful Yaksha, the golden-winged bird king mantra is not only for the evil storm, if there are any ghosts and gods, medicine forks, rakshasas, etc., can also be ambushed.

In the Buddhist world, it has always been a controversial topic about whether Buddha statues can be worn, and if they are Han people, most of the people who do not wear Buddha statues with them are placed in pious offerings.
