Reply to two book reviews, "Downgrading Technology" and "Sword and Sword"
Because it is less than 500 points, I can only reply to the book review of the judge here, and I ask for your forgiveness.
The first question, one of the officials said, was that the book was suspected of belittling technology.
I can't help but explain this. In fact, my setting in the book is that there is no one who is superior or inferior in technology and immortal path, each has its own strengths and weaknesses, and in fact, no one is omnipotent. What the protagonist wants to do in the book is to combine the two, not to crush the other with one. If it is written as technology crushing the fairy road, it will become science fiction. If it's the other way around, then the protagonist's golden finger will be finished, and the setting will be boring.
In addition, I have to say that in the immortal civilization, although the strength of the individual is emphasized, everyone is standing on the shoulders of their predecessors, and those exercises, magic weapons, and pills are not all continuously improved by countless predecessors. My idea is that technology is a horizontal brainstorming, and Xiandao is a vertical brainstorming, (after all, in the setting, the technological world is only a civilization with a history of only a few thousand years, and the immortal civilization has a history of countless thousands of years). Therefore, there is no one who is strong or one is weaker of the two. Just like the title of my chapter, no matter what it is, finding the fulcrum is the only way to exert the greatest power.
The second question, a magistrate said, swords and swords are more likely to see blood, and it is easier to die, so it is more exciting.
This is a matter of different perspectives. You can understand that I set up a world of technology, where people like to punch to the flesh, which may seem far-fetched to you, but it also makes up for what you think is unreasonable.
In fact, there is another point, it is easy to see blood and die, which is precisely the reason why I think it is not exciting.
It is easy to see blood, which means that the two sides will quickly reduce their combat effectiveness in blood loss, making the battle behind turn into a boring entanglement. It is easy to die, which means that the game is easy to end quickly, how can it fully mobilize the emotions of the audience.
Of course, this is all my personal opinion, I really like the feeling of punching to the flesh, and then the sound is amplified, and the sound is like a heartbeat, which makes people's hearts beat faster and the blood is racing, and I think that's the excitement, not watching a blood-soaked anatomy class.
