Chapter 4 Appearance
Everything was restrained and busy.
Someone came to clean my face, change my clothes, change me into a white dress and a red dress, and tightly tied my waist with a red ribbon and tied it in a knot at the back. I was out of breath and swayed and looked around.
After getting dressed, the man took a comb and shaved my hair, and it was so light and heavy that I screamed "ouch" in pain. My messy curly hair has always been combed for me by my brother through the clouds, and when it comes to other people's hands, it is a kind of torture for each other.
I whispered, "Please call my brother, okay?"
Before the words fell, Chuanyun was already at the door. He came over and took the comb and groomed it gently for me. Fingers ran over my ear, cold and familiar to the touch.
He loosely braided my hair, patted me on the head and said, "All right." He motioned for the man to bring something in front of me, and I later learned that it was a mirror.
For the first time in 16 years, I saw myself as I was.
Fat. I was fatter than almost everyone I had ever seen, with fat hands and feet, a bulging face, crimson cheeks, big sparkling eyes, pursed lips, a look of joy and disgust, sideburns on my forehead, my curly hair fluttering, my eyes drooping slightly, and a somewhat innocent and timid look.
I looked at the girl in the mirror and vaguely knew that it was me. For a while, there was a mixture of joy and sorrow. Me, that's what I am. Not bad, acceptable.
At that moment, I felt the invisible hands wrapping around my shoulders, as if they were trying to hold tighter, but they didn't. I ignored it, glancing at the piercing clouds in his glasses, he stood with his hands down, his eyes looking away thoughtfully.
I walked over and tugged at his sleeve: "Brother, where are we going now?"
He took my hand: "Follow me." ”
It's cold outside. We walked through a vast open field of silver, which he called a "lawn," and overhead was no longer a roof, but a blue, blue, like flowing water. I couldn't resist reaching out to touch it, but the blue was too high, too far away.
"That's the dome," he said. ”
I said, "It's so high." Can you go up?"
"I can't. Maybe one day...... You can. ”
I was cheeky and said with a smile, "If one day I can, then I must take you with my brother." ”
Chuanyun also smiled. What a beautiful smile, long eyes bent up, my heart is about to melt. He laughed and said, "You won't." ”
I won't? I won't go up? Or won't I take him? I was hesitating to myself when I suddenly heard him ask:
"You, why do you call your mouth 'brother', and you still know that your name is 'Meiyi'?"
Aha, it's a long story, I looked up at him and smiled, "I know it in my dreams, okay?"
As he spoke, he tripped himself over the "silver lawn" with a leg and foot on a rope.
In desperation, the clouds grabbed me by the back collar and kept my body in the air so that my face would not fall to the ground, but my hands were smashed on the silver-white grass. A tingling pain. The fine silver blades pierced into my palm, and a crimson liquid oozed from the stab wound in my palm under the sharp pain.
I stared at the crimson fishy liquid, and my head suddenly exploded with a "boom", and there was a sharp stinging sensation that "swished" from the tips of my toes to the top of my head, as if it was going to split me, and my hands and feet were scattered.
I was stunned by the strange feeling I had never felt before, and for a moment I just watched numbly as the red liquid flowed down the leaves, and then disappeared without a trace.
Chuanyun held my waist with one hand, and slowly pulled my palm away from the silver leaf with the other. I held up my red-stained palm, speechless.
There was a flash of mania in the eyes of the clouds.
He ripped off the edges of his cuffs and bandaged me quickly. Ignore my tears from the pain.
"There's still a long way to go. Remember to look your step. Let's go. He tugged at me and walked briskly. It was as if my feet were off the ground, and I don't know if it was an illusion.
In my haste, I looked back at the silvery-white leaves, and the crimson liquid that had just stuck to them had disappeared.
We came to a hall. Big and cold. The roof was made of brilliant stained glass (it was later learned that it was actually rare crystal), the soles of the feet were cream-white wool carpets, and large paintings hung on the walls around it.
It's cold and quiet. Suddenly I was scared and didn't know what was waiting for me when I woke up. My steps were so deep in white hair that I could barely pull my feet forward.
Piercing the clouds took me by the hand, and I stubbornly walked towards the people. I couldn't see their expressions clearly, but from a distance, they were all young and beautiful, thin and straight.
I dragged my chubby body—my waist so tight that I wanted to regurgitate—toward my unknown.
Soon I will learn that it is not that I am too fat, but that they are too thin. Because, I'm human, and they're not.
