The so-called Buddhism

Qingli didn't know anything about what happened in Yangshan Village. She is now living quite happily in Fahua Temple. After three months of practice and life, Qingli has almost a good understanding of Fahua Temple. Her three views have changed a lot. She also liked this kind of Buddhism more and more.

First of all, since Buddhism is a sect, the so-called four great emptiness is really just a spiritual thing. The disciples of the Buddhist sect are much smaller than the disciples of other sects, but there are tens of thousands of disciples without the laymen. Except for the Fahua Temple, the conditions of other temples can only be comparable to the resources of other small and medium-sized sects. Although the requirements for resources for Buddhist cultivation are not as high as those for true cultivation. But the disciples of other monasteries are not like the people in Fahua Temple, who are a group of hangers. Therefore, these disciples still need the assistance of cultivation resources. Where do these resources come from? The Buddha had to think about these things. Some of them came out of Hokkeji Temple, and the other part was obtained when they went out to practice. In a sense, Buddhism is no different from other sects. Although I don't say that materialism is rampant, I also feel that I can't do it and say that I am willing to be clean and poor to the end.

Although Qingli has entered the Buddhist gate, she still feels that she has not yet detached herself and is still a layman. If a layman rushes into a particularly otherworldly environment, he is likely to be ill-adapted. But now she is living quite happily, which shows that this Buddhism is now also a vulgar place. When she chatted with Yuan, she accidentally said what she thought in her heart, and Yuan laughed: "You are right, our Buddhism is also a vulgar place. That's why we have to work hard to practice for transcendence. If the Buddha sect is already a pure land of bliss, then why go to the Western Heaven for Bliss? So we are just Buddhas, not Buddhas. Do you understand?"

I understand, so it's normal for us to practice Buddhism as laymen. Qingli feels that the sentence "We are Buddhas, not Buddhas" is really a panacea. The Buddha does not want to argue with others, but when he is practicing outside, he will inevitably fight when he encounters opportunities. As soon as this sentence comes out, see who can say that they are not Buddhism. Thinking about coming to Fahua Temple for a few months, she heard this sentence from several people. It can be seen that this is a golden sentence that has been verified from the old fox. Qingli kept this sentence firmly in her heart. So much so that the ill-intentioned hypocrites she scolded with this sentence many times in her future experience almost suffered a myocardial infarction.

Since Buddhism is also a sect, of course, it will also practice the four arts of cultivation. The so-called four arts of cultivation are: array, dan, talisman and instrument. The people of Buddhism rarely learn the beasts, but they have a good relationship with the spirit animals in the mountains in the temple. There is a reason for it. The four elders are the masters of the Dan Dao, the fate of the good talisman, the jue good array, and the good instrument. And most of the monks in the Medicine King Hall can do alchemy. It's just that the disciples of the Buddhist sect generally open the furnace for alchemy, and only refine the pills related to the experience. Such as life-saving and detoxification pills, as well as Bigu Dan, as well as tonic elixirs. Buddhism forbade disciples to take pills that increased their cultivation. This is also the reason why the disciples of Buddhism have a solid foundation.

The Dharma weapons and treasure clothes of Buddhist disciples are generally refined by the masters who are in charge of refining in each temple. Because most of the magic weapons they refine are necessities for life and cultivation, aggressive magic weapons are rarely refined. So it's basically self-sufficient. The treasure clothes and lotus Buddha crown on Qingli's body were refined by Tongshibo. There is a group of disciples who like to refine weapons in the Dharma Academy.

In Buddhism, people are quite particular about drawing symbols. The Xiuzhen realm talisman is generally drawn with animal blood as raw material, plus cinnabar and other objects. In Buddhism, people do not kill in vain. Moreover, the Buddhist talismans are basically painted with prayer runes, such as peace and blessing. Occasionally, I draw a magic talisman, but the raw materials are all good cinnabar, and the effect of the rune depends on the cultivation and Buddha fate of the person who draws the talisman. The people in the Discipline Academy are some rune masters.

The people of the Buddha Sect are good at the formation of many aspects. Unless you encounter a person who has committed the most heinous crimes, the people in the Buddhist sect do not set up a killing array. But except for the various formations encountered by the wandering, you always have to understand it and know how to break it. Therefore, the Buddhist cultivation who specializes in the formation is really quite proficient. The reason why Fahua Temple can plant those 10,000-year-old apricot fruits and pine cone trees as domestic fruit trees is thanks to several formation masters in Fahua Temple.

Qingli is the successor of the Buddha, and the Buddha requires her to be involved in the four arts. As an apprentice of the fate, the rune must be proficient. Fortunately, there are not many runes in the Buddha Sect, and she is a Buddha seed. The talismans from her hand are all good. This made Yuan quite satisfied. As the successor of the Buddha, of course, he can't die easily. So Qingli has also put a lot of effort into the formation. It's alchemy and refining, she doesn't have a fire spirit to follow, and she doesn't require her to know how to do it. However, the materials used in refining and alchemy are required to be memorized by Qingli. Otherwise, when she goes out to practice, it will be embarrassing if she doesn't know any good things.

Buddhism does not allow indulgence and hard work, and what you can do by yourself is not done by others. So I take care of my own Zen temple. Don't think that this is a holy place for Buddhism, there is a large array of temples outside, it is really not stained with dust. Even other top sects couldn't do this kind of thing. It's just that those people from the sect love to use cleansing techniques. If the Buddhist cultivators are not practicing outside, they usually clean the monastery by themselves. Even several masters of the character generation are no exception. In their view, sprinkling is also a practice. Therefore, the sweeping monk in the novel is a peerless master, and there is an existence in Buddhism.

Other sects need to maintain their operations, one relies on the accumulation of the sect itself, the second relies on the tribute of affiliated families or sects, and the third relies on the disciples of the sect to do tasks. Buddhism does not force disciples to do tasks. The operation of the Buddhist sect depends on the accumulation of the sect itself, and the second is the generosity of believers all over the world. Taking Fahua Temple as an example, the runes such as peace charms drawn by the disciples in the temple are not sold out. Some of them are given to believers, who tend to donate merit. The other part is to give alms to ordinary people. The biggest difference between Buddhist practitioners and other monks is that merit and the faith of the believers can also help them in their practice. So it makes sense that they don't rely on pills to improve their cultivation.

In addition to chanting, Buddhist scriptures can also be sung. This is called Sanskrit chanting. In the 21st century, Qingli often listens to Buddhist music, which helps her meditate. In Fahua Temple, Qingli found that the small animals here were also cultivated. Whenever someone sings in the forest, it always attracts all kinds of spirit animals to stop and listen. As for the level of the spirit beasts you attract, the number depends on your own ability and state of mind. Qingli is very satisfied with this. What a joy it is to be surrounded by a bunch of furry creature for an invisible plush controller.

Kiyori has recently begun to focus on the study of the scriptures. Just because fate told her that she would also attend the festival held at Fahua Temple next year. This participation does not mean sitting there and listening to the teachings of the masters. According to the rules of Buddhism, all monks of the Qing character generation and above who participate in the puja must participate in the discussion of the scriptures. And Qingli is the youngest of the Qing generation. Although she is young now, she has only just started to practice. Even if it's simple, no one will blame her. To put it bluntly, this is just a platform for these Buddhist elders to talk to the juniors about their understanding of the Dharma. Even if you don't tell it well, no one will laugh at it. But for Qingli, age is not an excuse. At least she tried, and the result didn't matter. Anyway, this is how her senior brother Qingtan came over at the beginning.
