Thoughts sparked by a comment
There is such a comment in today's review, saying that it is a bit of braggart that this book integrates hundreds of cultures, and it also raises many questions. Although I have already replied in the comments, I feel that it is far from enough, so I specially express my thoughts again.
1. There must be many readers who, after reading the introduction, think I'm bragging, and express great skepticism.
Admittedly, I did "brag" a bit, but this "bull" is just to attract everyone's attention and let everyone come to read this book. However, I can guarantee that the culture of 100 schools in the book must not be bragging. The essence of the ideas of the hundred schools of thought will definitely be reflected in the book, which everyone can rest assured.
2. How to realize the integration of 100 cultures?
At this point, I believe that many authors have such thoughts, but I feel that it is difficult to integrate hundreds of cultures, so I am deterred. In other words, you can't write it anymore.
Here, I can tell you clearly: I have more than 600,000 manuscripts, and now I have reached the stage of a hundred schools of thought, and hundreds of schools of thought are holding back and arguing with each other, but there is no sign of collapse.
The culture of Zhuzi Baijia is all-encompassing and wide-ranging, and it is indeed not easy to integrate, but it is not impossible, for the following reasons:
There is a saying in the Book of Changes, "A hundred considerations are unanimous, and different paths lead to the same end." It's a truth, just like all roads lead to Rome, where the goal is the same, but the process is different.
This is the fusion point of 100 cultures.
Whether it is Taoism, Confucianism, Moism, or famous scholars, they are all for the sake of social stability and social development.
In addition, there are many misunderstandings in that comment, and I would like to say a few more words here.
The commentary says that demons also have a philosophy of thought. I can only say that you don't know enough about classical Chinese Xianxia, and you are too deeply influenced by the current fantasy novels. Throughout the ancient Chinese Xianxia novels, the demons and monsters that appear in them are only born to support the right path, and they are made up in order to let the world understand what the right way is. If, if the ideology and philosophy of the demons and monsters are determined, Xiaoxian admits that he does not have that ability, then he has created another doctrine. Since "Kyushu Chronicles" is an authentic Xianxia novel, it will follow this conclusion. And the fact is that whether we write about demons or look at demons, it is all for the sake of setting off our Tao, and we must make this clear.
3. How to view "Kyushu Chronicles".
As said in the comments, don't say that there are hundreds of schools of thought, even if they are branches of Taoism, it is also difficult to sort out. I admit that, but my point is that you have to look at culture in a big picture and don't hold on to the small things.
For example, if there is discord between brothers and sisters in the family, but after going out, everyone still has the same surname, and in the eyes of others, you are a family.
I write about hundreds of schools, and I won't be so detailed that I can't even write out the branches. No matter how many branches of Taoism there are, they are all dedicated to the Tao Te Ching.
In this book, I will incorporate the core essence of each family, and finally reach a consensus on one aspect. In a nutshell, it is to seek common ground while reserving differences, which is feasible in literature and in thought.
For the sake of time, let's leave it here for the time being.
Finally, I just hope that this reviewer can take a look at "Kyushu Creation" and then put forward better opinions on the problems existing in this book.
I also hope that everyone will give more opinions to make this book better and better.
