Chapter 50: The Hall of the Scriptures
The Tibetan Scripture Hall is built on a huge rock that protrudes outward, standing in the wind, steep and magnificent. Xiao Yi was shocked by its momentum at the first glance. According to Lu Weidao, it was built here to ensure dryness and facilitate the collection of books.
Although the Tibetan scripture hall is old, it has not been decayed in the slightest, but gives people a sense of vicissitudes and simplicity, which makes people feel awe.
Approaching the threshold, Lu Weidao took off his shoes, put them outside the door, and stepped in wearing only socks. Seeing this, Xiao Yi also learned something. Lu Weidao took out a few more talismans from his arms and settled: "All the books in the collection have Taoist techniques, and they cannot be touched. If you want to read any scripture, I will bring it for you. ”
Xiao Yi looked left and right and asked, "Can you come here at any time?"
Lu Wei said: "One person once a year. If we can come at any time, the floor will be broken, how can we hide books? We are also stained with Master's light. The hall is under the master's control, and we take turns to clean it every three or four months. ”
But I saw that the bookshelves on both sides were dazzling, and all kinds of Taoist scriptures were dizzying. The books in the house of the Changqing Daoist are nothing compared to them. However, most of these Taoist scriptures are simple and easy-to-understand introductory Taoist methods, and their preciousness is not as high. The whole hall is more than ten zhang deep, and each bookshelf is full of books, which shows the abundance of books.
Lu Weidao led the way in front, while giving Xiao Yi a brief introduction, while observing Xiao Yi's reaction, seeing that every time he passed a row of bookshelves, he just looked left and right twice, and continued to walk forward, without any intention of stopping, and couldn't help but think in his heart: "This junior brother is deeply hidden, and his Taoist cultivation is not good." Then he led him up to the second floor.
The second floor is only four or five feet in circumference, the bookshelves are less than twenty, and the books on it are much less, but compared with the books on the first floor, it is obviously much more profound, and this book can be called a classic.
After browsing a few more bookshelves, Lu Weidao saw that Xiao Yi was still not interested, and couldn't help but be suspicious. At this time, I saw Xiao Yi walking in front of a copy of "Seven Signatures of the Cloud Pipe", and said in his heart: "This scripture is a veritable Taoist collection, I have studied it for two years, but I still can't understand it, and finally under the guidance of the master, I was able to understand it." Measuring your young age, how capable you are, "Seven Signatures of the Clouds" is enough to make you stop, right?" Unexpectedly, Xiao Yi ignored it and walked away again. Seeing this, Lu Weidao was shocked at first, and then laughed in his heart: "I also said how deep this junior disciple is, it turns out that he is a layman." ”
The further he went, the more classic the collection became, and the more sure Lu Weidao was that Xiao Yi was just coming to see the excitement, so he didn't introduce it anymore. Later, he didn't bother to lead the way, and let Xiao Yi watch it by himself.
After reading it on the second floor, Xiao Yi still didn't pick up a book. Lu Weidao also wanted to go up to the third floor, so he took him up to another floor.
The third floor is only three zhang square, empty, there is not a single bookshelf, only the surrounding walls are full of rubbings. When I got closer, it was all the Dao on the dragon seal stone wall. This is already the top floor of the Tibetan Scripture Hall, and this middle way can be described as the most profound way of worshipping the truth. Lu Weidao hurriedly stepped forward and memorized a few words, waiting for his understanding when he went back. When he looked back at Xiao Yi again, he saw that his eyes were floating twice, so he turned around and walked away, and couldn't help but shake his head secretly: "It's really ignorant!"
The so-called ten thousand laws are connected, one law is fine, and ten thousand laws are connected. Xiao Yi looked at the bibliography and guessed a rough idea, but he was not interested in intensive reading. Moreover, most of the books in the collection are explained in detail by so-and-so, which is more profound but not innovative, so it is no wonder that Xiao Yi is not eye-catching.
Entering Baoshan and returning empty, Xiao Yi was a little disappointed. Just as I was helpless, I suddenly saw two small bookcases standing in the northwest corner. Because of the backlight, the bookcase is gray and black, and if you don't get closer, you can't see it really.
Xiao Yi stepped forward, but saw two bookcases standing side by side. On the wall above the bookcase, the word "forbidden" was written in a big way. As soon as he saw the word "forbidden", Xiao Yi immediately felt that his blood was dilated, and his eyes were dizzy. He was shocked in his heart, and he was busy diving his true qi, calming his blood, and reciting the Heart Sutra silently to keep his mind clear, and then he successfully got rid of it. At the same time, on the top of the two bookcases, there was also a suction force, stirring the true qi in the body. Xiao Yi was secretly frightened, and hurriedly took a step back, only then did he carefully look at the two bookcases.
The first bookcase is divided into three layers, each layer is divided into three compartments, left, middle and right, and a label is hung on each compartment. However, I saw that there was a character "Dao" hanging on the first grid, and there was no book in the grid; on the second grid hung the word "Confucianism", which contained nearly 10 books, the top one of which was "The Mean"; and the third grid was hung with the word "Interpretation," and there were also nearly 10 books on it, the first of which was called "Diamond Sutra." There are only two or three books in the second layer of grids, with the words "ink", "miscellaneous", and "yin and yang" hanging respectively. The third layer of the grid is hung with the words "name", "demon" and "ghost" in turn, and the two grids of "name" and "demon" each hold a copy, but the "ghost" grid is empty, and one is also missing.
Xiao Yi thought of Lin Yuehe, Yu Linfeng and others, and said in his heart: "Could it be that this is the Nine Great Sects of Kyushu? Sure enough, there are different paths, there are many different ways, and there are many places, and the Taoist method is just the words of one family." Then he looked at the second bookcase.
This bookcase is divided into three layers, but there is nothing but a wooden slab in the middle. Xiao Yi couldn't help but take a step forward, endured the pressure from the bookcase, and finally saw the words on the wooden slip, "Shun the adult becomes an immortal, all in the yin and yang upside down".
Just twelve words, Xiao Yi's thoughts suddenly spun around. Cultivating the true and cultivating the Tao is nothing more than wanting to live a long life and become an immortal. Taoism pays attention to conforming to nature and doing nothing. But this sentence says "obedient to the adult and becomes an immortal", which is completely contrary to the purpose of Taoism. And whether it is Taoism or other sects, they are mainly based on cultivating yang true qi, where does the "yin and yang turn upside down"?
Since this piece of wood is solemnly stored here, this statement will not be nonsense. Xiao Yi was full of doubts, and was thinking about it, when he suddenly felt that someone pulled him on his back, and he couldn't help but retreat a few steps back. looked back, but saw Lu Weidao looking at him in panic and asked, "Are you okay?"
Xiao Yi shook his head and said, "Thank you, senior brother." Lu Weidao palpitated and said: "It's okay, there is a strong Taoist technique on it, and you must not touch it." Xiao Yi asked, "Can these books be borrowed?" Lu Weidao looked at Xiao Yi in horror and said, "Senior brother is joking? These are all crooked ways, what are you borrowing these books for?" Besides, these are **, and Chongzhen disciples are not allowed to read them. ”
In the end, Xiao Yi took the two books of "Taishang Induction Chapter" and "Tongxuan Zhenjing". When he heard that Xiao Yi wanted to take these two books, Lu Weidao was surprised for a while, thinking that these two books were difficult to understand, how could they be learned by beginners, and he couldn't help but ask repeatedly: "Are you sure you want to take these two books? It's not easy to come once, you have to cherish the opportunity." Xiao Yi smiled and insisted that he help him get the two books.
