Chapter 34: The Plague of Innocence
But it was said that after Xiao Yimu sent the four of them away, he stood for a long time, thinking a lot in his mind, like in a dream. It wasn't until he heard the sound of a fight outside the cave that he woke up and hurriedly ran to the entrance of the cave. As he ran, he thought that there were not many people in the Chongzhen Sect, and he should not be able to stop them. But he immediately blamed himself: "You are in the Chongzhen Sect, eating the Chongzhen Sect, how can you elbow out?" While thinking about the kindness of the "green-robed man" to him, and on the other hand, thinking about the kindness of the Chongzhen Sect's food and clothing, he was in a dilemma, and he was uncomfortable.
When I got to the entrance of the cave, I was already happy to hear the fight outside the cave. He hid behind the rocks at the entrance of the cave, looked out secretly, and saw Chang Heng, Chang Dan, Chang and the three real people in the air at a glance, and suddenly became anxious: "Didn't Chang Dan real people also come out of the mountain? How could they appear here? Now they are in trouble." In his mind, Changdan Zhenren is the most severe, and his Taoism must be the highest, with Changdan Zhenren here, it will not be easy for the four of them to break out.
But when he saw Liu Xiangying trapping the three real people alone, he was immediately impressed by this woman, and said with envy in his heart: "This lady is so powerful, if I can learn half of her skills, I will be content in this life." At this time, he suddenly felt that Liu Xiangying's temperament was so familiar, as if he had seen it somewhere. After thinking about it carefully, the figure that lingered in his mind appeared in his mind, and he couldn't help but sigh. With a sigh, the figure in his mind blurred, but his thoughts became even more chaotic.
Xiao Yi looked at Liu Xiangying's figure in a daze for a while, worried about the situation of the four of them for a while, and amazed at the high mana of Zhao Yinji for a while, only hating that he had no mana and couldn't participate in it. As for really going into battle against the enemy, whether to help Chongzhen's side or help Liao Wuchen and the four of them, he couldn't make up his mind in his heart.
It was easy to watch the four of them leave safely, and several real people also went home one after another, and his heart finally fell to the ground. But after a while, I immediately became nervous again. After all the dead and wounded disciples were carried away, the two Chongzhen disciples suddenly walked towards the cave.
At this moment, no matter how stupid he was, he could think clearly that Lin Bufan and the three of them were taken up the mountain by him by hiding in the pottery poppy. The prisoner has just escaped, Chongzhen's disciples have suffered many casualties, and he is holding his stomach, he is in the cave, the suspicion is so big, a few mouths can't be clear, how can Chongzhen's disciples let him go easily.
Sure enough, the two Chongzhen disciples came to the entrance of the cave and shouted directly: "Whoever is in the cave, come out quickly." Xiao Yi realized what a stupid act it was to hide under the noses of the immortals, and secretly scolded himself, so he had to obediently walk out of the cave, and hurriedly said without waiting for others to ask: "I am the 'little chef' who delivers rice, and the two senior brothers must have seen me usually." When I came to deliver the food, I saw the prisoner running out, and I thought that I would run back to report to you, but when I arrived at the entrance of the cave, I saw that the two sides were fighting. I was afraid that after I went out, I would have to be distracted by the senior brothers to protect me and affect the performance of the senior brothers, so I hid......"
Xiao Yi said a lot, but the two Chongzhen disciples were stunned, and they were stunned for a while, and then they stopped: "Shut up, I naturally recognize you, but if the prisoner escapes, you can't get out of it, go back with us first, and wait for the real people to fall." ”
Xiao Yi also wanted to explain, a person stepped forward to face him a little lower than his left rib, and immediately couldn't move or speak, let him carry it, took off into the air, and flew towards Chaoyang Peak. He was afraid that this Chongzhen disciple would not be able to grasp any of them, so he threw himself from the air, and he was worried all the way, so he didn't have to worry.
After landing in Chaoyangfeng Square, he went all the way up the mountain to Zhengxin Hall and handed it over to a disciple named Yuan Xin. That Yuan Xin saw that it was Xiao Yi, and said: "Okay, it's you kid again, I haven't treated you for the crime of disturbing people and Qing Xiu last time, and today I actually committed the crime of private imprisonment again, have you ever been tired of living a crooked life?" Xiao Yi secretly screamed "bitter", this Yuan Xin was actually the disciple who insisted on treating him last time, and this time it fell into the hands of this person, and he was punished for two crimes, but I am afraid that the fat chef is still there, and he can't save him.
Yuan Xin threw him to the ground, snorted coldly, and locked the door. Xiao Yi couldn't move, his face hit the ground first, and the bridge of his nose was about to break, only to feel that his face was hot, and his nose bleeded all over the ground. Or is he used to being beaten and bullied, or he is successful in learning Taoism, Xiao Yi is not angry, worried, anxious, or impatient at this moment, but just thinking about the precious exercises that Liao Wuchen left for him in the cave, and secretly decided: "When I learn the Taoism, I will also create a sect, so that all the bitter children in the world can live a stable life." ”
I couldn't move, I couldn't see the situation around me, I didn't know how much time was, I just felt that my body was numb first, then I was hungry, and then my mind began to faint, but the original heart never appeared.
Later, he was so hungry that he couldn't stand it, so he began to recite the Jing Sutra silently. He didn't know how long it took for this thought, he felt that the light in the room was dim and bright, bright and dark, as if there were four or five days, but Yuan Xin still did not appear.
The feeling of hunger hit his brain again and again, and he could only try to meditate and chant the scriptures, stick to his heart, and try his best to maintain his peace of mind. Once upon a time, he felt that he was about to lose his hold, but through the spiritual power of the Dao Law, he resisted stubbornly. Later, the feeling of hunger was no longer so strong, he felt his mind float up gently, three feet off the ground, and then quietly looked at himself lying on the ground, as if he also "saw" the feeling of hunger, the hunger feeling was very strong, and it was very uncomfortable, but he was like an outsider, just quietly "watching", not painful or itchy.
After about two more days, he felt lighter, farther from the ground, and the hunger felt stronger, but the feeling was lighter. He had a vague premonition that his time was running out.
It seemed that two more days had passed, and his mind had drifted to the roof, looking down at his body from afar, but it was pitch black all around, and he couldn't see anything. The mind is so light that it can be blown away almost between breaths. He knew that his limit was approaching, and maybe in the next second, his mind would disappear. But his mind was so calm that he was not sad, happy, fearful, or worried, as if the dying man on earth was an irrelevant person.
"The way to do nothing, I see. In the midst of the calm, I suddenly felt a sense of weight, and my mind suddenly gained weight again, and it fell a few inches. At the same time, the perception of the mind is also extremely sensitive, and you can clearly feel the flow of every drop of blood in your body, the swing of every hair of hair, and even the release of energy. Moreover, it is felt that for every little loss of energy, the body weakens a little.
He clearly knows that as long as the loss of energy is controlled, he can keep his life alive. However, when he tried his best to control his body and try to conserve his energy, the clear feeling suddenly disappeared, and his body could clearly feel the vitality disappearing.
"Void but unyielding, moving and healing". Not only did he secretly scold himself for being confused, but he just felt the way of inaction, but at the moment he thought that he was doing something, and he was really stupid. Busy and quiet, ignoring everything. Sure enough, that sensitive perception returned, and the energy loss slowed down, but it didn't stop. At this time, he realized that this loss is a natural operation, and it is the root cause of human life, old age, sickness and death.
The law of cultivation is to reverse the loss and absorb the power of nature in order to nourish vitality and achieve the path of immortality. In this way, those who cultivate the path of immortality are all acting against nature, and although they are called inaction, they are actually doing the way of doing. "Do something, do nothing?" he felt as if he had caught something, but it was very vague and he couldn't grasp it for a while.
Time is spent in unconscious thinking, and the reason why it is unconscious thinking is only because once he thinks, he will get out of his pure state and lose his vitality too quickly. In the path of non-action, consciousness is like swimming in water, swimming wherever it goes, where it sees, it also "thinks" wherever it goes. I don't know how long this state lasted, suddenly, but his eyes lit up, he felt his heart jump, and said happily: "Do nothing, do nothing." The fat master once said that mortals are just vain in the way of saints. The same is true of the way of cultivation, what the disciples of Chongzhen practice is not the real way of non-action, they just do something in the midst of non-action, and they just promote non-action with action. The disciples of the sect are led by inaction and go against the sky, so it is easier to cultivate at the beginning, and it is better than expounding the teachings. However, the exposition of the teachings is guided by nothing, the realm is higher, and the foundation is more stable, so after a long time, it defeats the interception of teachings. In the final analysis, whether it is interception or exposition, it is just to seek a balance between inaction and promising. ”
If you are born in the world, but you really do nothing, then you can only wait for death. In order to survive, it is a kind of promising behavior. And inaction is just another manifestation of promising life in order to live better. There is no boundary between doing and not doing, they are a pair of twins, dialectical and mutually beneficial, and their purpose is the same.
You take the initiative to absorb the aura from the outside world for your own use, and do nothing to make the aura run more freely, which is the way of cultivation.
Xiao Yi felt that he had touched the true meaning of cultivation, but he didn't know any Taoism, and he didn't know how to absorb the aura of the outside world. At this time, in addition to minimizing the loss of spiritual energy by doing nothing, he could only wait quietly, or die quietly like this.
