Chapter 209: Three Things
"Old cicada?"
Sun Wukong screamed in a strange voice, and the Meritorious Buddha replied with a smile: "Well, it's called the old cicada." Pen ~ Fun ~ Pavilion www.biquge.info"
The Meritorious Buddha is more casual than Tang Seng, and he talks more than Tang Seng, which makes it easier for people to get close.
Zhu Tianpeng was thinking about Fuling Mountain in his heart, and asked, "Old Cicada, can we leave Lingshan now?"
Meritorious Buddha: "Don't be busy leaving yet, Senior Brother Ah Ao still has something to say." ”
Venerable Ah Wei nodded and said, "There is indeed something. The three of you, as well as the little white dragon, although they have been sealed, they don't know about Buddhism. The Master has called me to explain some information to you and understand your wishes. ”
"First of all, about the dojo. A dojo is a place where sentient beings are offered sacrifices and practices. You have attained the bodhisattva level and above, and you are qualified to establish your own ashram. You decide where to build the ashram, but you have to report it to the Buddha. ”
Sun, Zhu, and Sha were all a little confused, and they really didn't understand!
"There is no need to rush this matter. "The Buddha of Merit knows that they have no bottom in their hearts," once the personal dojo is confirmed, it is not appropriate to change it, so it is better to think clearly before talking. Most of the 3,000 Buddhas did not have a personal ashram. ”
Hearing him say this, Sun, Zhu, and Sha all breathed a sigh of relief.
Most of the Buddhas don't have a personal dojo yet, and Lao Zhu, a miscellaneous Bodhisattva, doesn't need to worry.
Venerable Ah Tai smiled and said, "The establishment of a personal dojo requires a large number of believers, and I also advise you not to act in a hurry. ”
The Meritorious Buddha shook his head and said, "It's not difficult to establish a personal dojo, but it's difficult to maintain it!"
Judging by his appearance, it is estimated that he will not set up a personal dojo in the future.
Venerable Ah Ao said the second thing: "Secondly, there is the merit of Buddhism. The prayers, thoughts, sacrifices, and so on that of sentient beings can all derive merit. What can you do with merit, you have already experienced it when you were enshrined, so you don't need me to say more, right?"
Lao Zhu guessed correctly, the golden Xuanqi is indeed a Buddhist merit.
The Buddha explained: "Wukong has already understood the path and can perceive the prayers of sentient beings, but the enlightenment of light and enlightenment are not yet perceived. ”
Sun Wukong immediately shouted: "Yes! Yes! After becoming a Buddha, Lao Sun's ears buzzed non-stop, and I didn't listen to what they said seriously, I thought it was a ghost entanglement, and I was about to go to the king of Hades to ask for the guilt!"
Sentient beings are praying to you, and you should be a wronged soul asking for your life, which is also too strange!
The Buddha of Merit smiled and said: "On the way to learn the scriptures, you have shown your magical powers to subdue demons and eliminate demons, and those mortals who have received your favor will naturally miss you." They also set up temples for our statues, knowing that you have great powers, and it is normal for people to pray to your statues. ”
Sun Monkey kept scratching his ears and cheeks, and said, "Old Cicada, those mortals have been praying endlessly, and Old Sun is not quiet, how is it good?"
Everyone laughed, and the Buddha was so upset because of the prayers of mortals?
Meritorious Buddha: "The merits of my Buddha are in the hands of Amitabha Buddha, if you don't want to take care of the believers yourself, you can ask this Buddha." ”
Sun Wukong hurriedly said: "Give it to him, give it to him!"
Under the guidance of the Buddha of Merit, Sun Wukong clasped his hands together, closed his eyes and meditated, and chanted in his mouth: "Amitabha!"
After just a moment, Sun Wukong jumped up, opened his eyebrows and smiled: "It's finally quiet! My old grandson doesn't want to suffer this sin anymore, thank you Amitabha!"
The Buddha of Merit said to Zhu Tianpeng and Sha Seng again: "Because you have not attained enlightenment, you cannot sense the prayers of believers, and now Amitabha Buddha is taking care of them. If you want to make merits, protect mortals, and recite the Buddha's name, you will be able to achieve what you want!"
Lao Zhu was speechless. God and Buddha, this is much stronger than Alipay, just say the Buddha name and you'll be done!
The Buddha of Merit suddenly became serious: "Remind you, merit should be used carefully! If the merit withdrawn exceeds the quota, Amitabha Buddha will be held accountable, then you are ready to become an ascetic!"
Are the consequences of overdrawing merit so severe?
Venerable Ah Tai smiled and said, "Second Senior Brother is afraid that you don't know how to be frugal and squander your merits. Actually, exceeding the quota will only happen when you are facing a crisis and need merit to save you. In normal times, it is impossible for you to overdraw your merits. ”
It seems that Amitabha Buddha is also a very responsible financial planner.
"Then how do I know how much merit I have?"
This question made the Meritorious Buddha and Venerable Ah Tai dumbfounded, and even Sun Wukong stood still, and Sha Seng was directly dumbfounded!
Seeing everyone's expressions, Lao Zhu couldn't help touching his big bald head, and wondered: "Why do you have such an expression?
It has been hundreds of years since he came to this world, and Zhu Tianpeng's thinking still has traces of his previous life. He thinks that merit is the same as money, and it is only natural that my money is deposited in the bank, and if I want to know the specific amount, the bank must provide consulting services at any time!
He didn't realize that in ancient times, which emphasized integrity, this question implied a distrust of Amitabha.
He shook his head lightly and said, "You need to take merit, just recite the Buddha's name." Buddhism will also distribute merits on a regular basis, and each time only a certain amount of merit will be kept for your urgent use, and the excess will be distributed to you. Questions like this, don't ask them again in the future!"
The stern tone of the Meritorious Buddha made Lao Zhu react, knowing that he had made a mistake, and his expression was a little uncomfortable.
Venerable Ah Ao explained, "That Buddha has always been magnanimous, and he has no intention of making mistakes, so he doesn't need to care. ”
Then, he went on to talk about things.
"Third, there is the issue of followers. ”
"A Bodhisattva or a Venerable One can report two followers to the Buddha. Followers who have reported can enter and leave the Mahavira Hall, follow His Holiness in large Buddhist pujas, act on His Holiness' behalf, and receive sacrifices from the devotees with His Holiness.
"Do you have any followers to report?"
Sun, Zhu, and Sha are still digesting this information.
The Buddha explained: "The followers of the report are treated as the assistants of the Venerable, and they must be treated with caution. Unless they attain the status of Buddha, the Buddha will not accept removal and will always be the followers of the Venerable. ”
When it comes to followers, Lao Zhu remembers the beautiful Shanmiaoni just now.
"Does Buddhism have any requirements for followers to report? ”
Before the Meritorious Buddha and Venerable Ah Wu could speak, Sun Wukong had already shouted and scolded: "Idiot, are you sick again?"
"Brother Monkey, the old cicada hasn't said it yet, why are you in a hurry?"
The Buddha smiled and replied, "There are no requirements, it is all demonic creatures." But what the followers do, all the consequences are borne by their Holiness. There was a Buddha, dragged down by his followers, who had sunk in samsara. Measure it yourself!"
Lao Zhu's mind turned away, all demonic creatures were formed, and the beautiful woman naturally had no problems.
Buddhism does not allow marriage, and it is not bad to find a stunning beauty as a follower!
Wait, there's one more problem to solve.
"In Buddhism, what precepts must be followed? Also, since you are already a Bodhisattva Buddha, you have to be a little different from ordinary monks, right?"
