Then he asked Jin Ye again, "Do you have a name?"

Jin Ye said: "The disciple's surname is Jin, and his single name is a Ye character." After thinking about it, Jin Ye added: "The disciple has admired cultivation since he was a child, so he also gave himself the name of Xuanzhen Taoist. ”

But it was Jin Ye who already had his own legal name when he was in the cultivation realm.

Patriarch Su Bodhi was silent for a moment and said, "My disciples have twelve characters, which are the twelve characters of Guang, Da, Zhi, Hui, True, Ru, Sex, Hai, Ying, Wu, Yuan, and Jue. The patriarch said, "Now that you know the wonderful sound, let me ask you, how long have you been in the cave?"

Wukong said: "The disciple was originally ignorant, and I don't know how many seasons there are. I only remember that the peach tree behind the mountain has ripened seven times. ”

The patriarch said, "In this way, you have been in the cave for seven years. What will you learn from me now?"

Wukong said: "But with the teachings of the ancestors, there is just some Taoism, and the disciples will learn." ”

So the patriarch asked Sun Wukong if he wanted to learn the kung fu in the words "art", "stillness", "flow" and "movement".

Sun Wukong thought that these kung fu could not live forever, so he vetoed all of them, and he was unwilling to learn any of them.

Patriarch Su Bodhi was furious, and with a loud voice, he jumped off the high platform, held the ring ruler, and designated Wukong to say: "You monkey, you don't learn like this, you don't learn like that, but what are you going to do?"

Jin Ye saw it, and knew that Su Bodhi was preparing to teach Sun Wukong the method, and his heart was also anxious, and he hurriedly went out to persuade Su Bodhi Patriarch: "The ancestor is angry, Wukong is like this, I and Sun Wukong entered from the bottom of the mountain together, I only want to seek an immortality technique, avoid the disaster of Hades, Wukong saw that he couldn't get the art of immortality for a while, and he was anxious to offend the patriarch, and I hope that the patriarch will not blame Wukong, if the patriarch still has fire in his heart, the disciple will be punished and will never dare to complain." ”

Patriarch Su Bodhi seemed to be angry, and glared at Jin Ye fiercely. stepped forward, raised the ring ruler and hit Wukong on the head three times, and then hit Jin Ye's head again, turned his hands behind his back, walked inside, closed the middle door, and left the crowd behind, as if Jin Ye and Sun Wukong didn't want to preach.

Master preached your Taoism, why didn't you learn it, but you talked back to Master? This time it collided with him, I don't know when it will come out!"

At this time, Jin Ye and Wukong, who were complained, despised and disgusted by everyone, were not annoyed at all, and the two glanced at each other, both with smiles on their faces.

It turned out that Jin Ye and Wukong had already broken the mystery on the plate, knew the meaning of Patriarch Su Bodhi, and secretly knew it, so they didn't compete with everyone, but just endured and were silent.

The patriarch beat him a few times, that is, Jin Ye and Wukong were looking for him at the third watch, and he walked inside with his hands behind his back, and closed the middle door, which was to teach Wukong and Jin Ye to progress from the back door and teach him the Tao in secret.
