Chapter Seventy-Four: A Dream in the Void
Chapter Seventy-Four: A Dream in the Void
"From the top to the non-wanting, down to the infernal ground. Three thousand, the world is far away, and no one can know. There is no doubt that the Zen master clasped his hands together, shook his head slightly, and when he saw Toutuo's doubts, he said: "All people have hearts, and if they have hearts, they must have thoughts; Therefore, the Three Realms are only mindful, and all laws are only known, and if one thought is not born, the six realms will be lost, and reincarnation will be rejected. The precepts themselves are set for us to practice the Dharma, so if you have no distractions, how can you take the precepts?"
Liu Qingyuan was secretly surprised when he heard this, in fact, Su Shu had already met him before he came, and even gave him some back-ups.
At the beginning, when Liu Qingyuan said that Su Shu was undoubtedly a high-ranking monk in Zen Buddhism, he still didn't believe it.
After all, a person who will come to steal other people's incense is also related to the great monks in the universal values, but listening to his words, Liu Qingyuan knows that at least in terms of practice, there is no doubt about the obviously deep Buddhist samadhi.
According to the Dharma tone of this universe, the mind is the foundation, all Dharma originates from the mind, and the Buddha is only an enlightened person with a complete mind.
Therefore, the so-called Buddhist precepts themselves exist for the purpose of purifying the mind, and there is a very interesting little story in Buddhism that explains the relationship between the precepts and the mind.
An old monk and a little monk traveled around, and one day they passed by a river with a rather turbulent current, and saw a young woman who wanted to cross the river, but did not dare to cross it. The old monk took the initiative to carry his woman across the river, and as soon as he reached the bank, he put down the woman and continued to hurry with the little monk.
Along the way, the little monk couldn't help muttering: What's wrong with Master? How dare you carry a woman across the river?
The little monk walked all the way, thinking all the way, and finally couldn't help it, and asked his master: "Master, why did you carry a woman?
When the old monk heard this, he sighed and said, "I have already let it go, but you still can't let it go!"
As the story says, since you have let go, how can you be attached? Because your heart is concerned, you need to be bound by the precepts. But when you really face someone in need, do you still have to stick to that precept instead of helping?
So is it because you feel guilty and don't break the vows, or do you help others and break the vows in your actions?
Obviously, the Zen master in front of him belongs to the latter, and his view of the precepts is also to see them as a formality, perhaps he recognizes the role of the precepts in the early days of the practice of the Dharma, but does not recognize the absolute dominance of the precepts in the practice of the Dharma.
"If your thoughts are heard by the people of the Vinaya, some of them will make a fuss!"
"If they like to make trouble, just let them be, I'll just be myself!" replied with a smile as he folded his hands.
Liu Qingyuan shook his head, as one of the five major Buddhist lineages in Jiuzhou, the Vinaya focuses on studying and passing on the precepts, and the four disciplines of precepts, precepts, precepts, and precepts.
According to the ancient legend of Buddhism, when he was alive, in order to restrain the monks, various precepts were formulated, and at the time of the first Buddhist assembly, the precepts were recited by Youpo, and then because the understanding of the precepts of various schools of Buddhism is not consistent, the precepts passed on are also different.
Then the precepts refer to the practice of the precepts, i.e., the observance of the precepts and the sharpening of the self.
Then the precepts are the manifestations or regulations of the precepts, that is, the five precepts, the ten precepts, the two hundred and fifty precepts, and so on.
The last precept is the main doctrine of Vinaya. The precept body can be called "wu zuo" or "wu biao", which is the Dharma body that the ordained disciple receives in his own mind when he receives the ordination from the teacher. That is, the practice of acceptance constitutes a psychological function of preventing non-evil and stopping evil, which is the core theory of the Vinaya.
To put it bluntly, some of the Vinaya practices are based on the precepts, and every word and deed should be perfectly in line with the precepts.
Regarding Liu Qingyuan's performance, the Zen master did not mind, he bowed his head slightly and said, "We took this bet." ”
"It will definitely not disappoint the Zen master!" Liu Qingyang smiled, one hand was raised, and a touch of moonlight appeared, in which a seal text rose, and the brilliance in the seal text was hazy and illusory.
When he didn't enter the top of Toutuo's head, he still had a little instinctive resistance, but he seemed to trust the Zen master more, and soon relaxed his spirit, letting the power contained in the seal text quickly fill his mind.
The brilliance flows, the red dust is varied, but it is a lifetime experienced in a dream, there is a way: since the fall of the Zen forest, thousands of miles have been looking for strong men. Carrying thousands of pounds of strength in his arms, he was born with a murderous heart. Deceive the Buddha, drink Guanyin, quit the sword and Zen cane......
Budo and Liu Qingyuan looked at Tou Tuo's eyes were hazy at first, and the aura of red dust gradually rose, and then his eyes showed a fierce light, and finally he was calm repeatedly, shouted, and said: "I don't cultivate good fruits in my life, I only love to kill people and set fires." Suddenly, the golden rope was opened, and the jade lock was torn off here. Hey, the tide on the Qiantang River came to me, and today I know that I am me. ”
"Thank you, Daoyou!" Tou Tuo folded his hands, bowed slightly to Liu Qingyuan, and then bowed to the Zen Master of Budo: "I've seen the teacher!"
"In the past, you saved me, but today I save you! But it's a cycle of cause and effect, I don't know if you have a Dharma name?"
Tou Tuo touched his head and said with the same smile: "I got a Dharma name called Zhishen in my dream, but I'm used to hearing it, so use this!"
"That's fine!" The Zen master smiled, turned to Liu Qingyuan and said, "The poor monk is willing to gamble and lose." ”
After speaking, he took Monk Zhishen to the temple where Biyun Blessed Land was located, and he didn't know what to say to Miaozhu, so he stayed in the temple.
Looking at the undoubted master and apprentice who entered the temple, Liu Qingyuan breathed a sigh of relief, and was really about to turn around and leave, but when he saw a wisp of moonlight appearing, he stood firmly, bowed slightly, and said to the moonlight concrete place: "I've seen the emperor!"
"What do you think?" Su Shu's voice came out of it, Liu Qingyuan thought about it, and sighed: "As the emperor said, he is a high-ranking monk. ”
"Then how many people do you think there are such characters in the Buddhist sect?"
Liu Qingyuan frowned, a little confused about Su Shu's question, but he still thought for a moment and replied: "Buddhism cultivates the mind, there should be a lot of people!"
"So, how many of them have concerns that can be exploited?" asked Su Shu again.
Liu Qingyuan vaguely grasped the key point, and hesitated: "There are twelve out of ten, which is lucky!"
"That's right! This time, there is no doubt that the master and apprentice can actually be regarded as the Buddha's show of goodwill to me and Xuandu, and it can also be regarded as their explanation to you. ”
"Then ......" Liu Qingyuan was a little angry in his heart, pointed to the banned Biyun Blessed Land, and asked, "What is the owner of this place?"
"The master of this place?" Su Shu smiled and asked rhetorically, "How can there ever be a master here?"
When Liu Qingyuan heard this, he immediately didn't know how to answer, what he said and what Su Shu said were actually based on two points.
Liu Qingyuan looks at it from the perspective of humanity, and among the universal values of humanity, if a person opens up a piece of land and establishes his own foundation in it, then this land can be regarded as his. Even now, with the establishment of the dynastic state and the improvement of the legal network of humanitarian order, at most it is just an earlier application for development and the subsequent payment of back taxes.
But Sushu's foothold lies in heaven and earth itself, and for heaven and earth, whether it is an individual or a collective, it has never been the master of the land.
To put it mildly, for heaven and earth, the gods who coexist with them are still vassals, almost parasitic mortals and monks, how can they be qualified to be called their own masters?
Everything is just a matter of cognition, but once these things are spoken, how can they be taken out as a basis?
And since this land is not the lord of Biyun Blessed Land, what is the problem with Buddhism coming to fight for it?
"Understood?" Su Shu looked at Liu Qingyuan and comforted: "You are taking the road of immortality, and the days ahead are very long, and you can't simply rely on the concept of humanity to see the problems in heaven and earth." For example, for the matter of Biyun blessed land, although Buddhism is somewhat lacking in morality, but from the perspective of heaven and earth, Buddhism can replace Biyun blessed land, or even better than doing it, then what they do is not wrong. ”
After speaking, Su Shu mentioned again: "Regarding the attitude of Buddhism, I will just tell you about this matter, as for whether you are willing to accept it is your business." ”
"If I don't want to?"
Liu Qingyuan's question, Su Shu did not feel the slightest surprise, he replied very blandly: "Then you will go to their trouble, for the sake of me, Xuandu and your teacher, the people in the Buddhist sect will use the methods used to deal with Mingkong in the past at most, and they will crush you for one hundred and eighty years, and when the westward journey is over, they will let you out." ”
"What if I want?"
Su Shu, whose voice still did not change in the slightest, continued to answer: "Then you will retreat in the Taiyin Peak, and when all the dust falls, the things that the Buddha Sect should give you will not be less." In addition to losing some fame, you can only gain more resources in essence!"
"And what does the Emperor want from me?"
Su Shu paused for a moment, then Fang Cai used a tone that had not changed much, and said, "Xuandu, and I and your teacher are not ready to interfere with your choice, whether you want to or not." We are neither blocking nor helping, everything is up to you. ”
"So, I understand, thank you Emperor Jun for your advice!" Liu Qingyuan bowed again, and then turned to leave.
Su Shu shook his head and dispersed the incarnation, while he sat in front of the deity in the Taiyin Star, and Xuan Lingjun, who was surrounded by water and light, sighed with emotion: "What does the emperor think Liu Qingyuan will choose to do?"
"Naturally, it's a trouble to find Buddhism!" Su Shu responded casually, in the past, Liu Qingyuan was sent to Xiao Kyushu by Li Haocheng because his personality was too peaceful, and during that time, although Xuan Lingjun also helped once or twice, he didn't know much, and Su Shu, who had been observing him, knew Liu Qingyuan's character well, and naturally could guess his choice.
"Then we really don't help?" Xuan Lingjun hesitated.
"Of course not?" Su Shu nodded in response, and then took a 180-degree turn in his attitude, and said: "Of course, if the other party has to bully the small, then I also think that the deity doesn't mind going to find the stubble of the Buddhism." ”
When Xuan Lingjun heard this, he didn't know what Su Shu meant to protect his shortcomings, but for Su Shu, or Li Haocheng's attitude of protecting his shortcomings, as his subordinate, Xuan Lingjun was more happy.
After thinking about it, Xuan Lingjun asked again: "What is the problem of Zhishen, which can make many Buddhist powers helpless, and even Mingwei Zhenren can't do it himself." If I'm not mistaken, there seems to be a clear light in the seal text. ”
Xuan Lingjun's question is actually quite sensitive, but he is not an outsider, he has been trusted by Li Haocheng early on, and the time he has been blessed by the jade talisman Qingguang is also constant. Therefore, when he observed Liu Qingyuan just now to enlighten the monk Zhishen, after the wisp of jade talisman that was hidden in the deepest part of the seal script in Liu Qingyuan's hand, he decisively raised his doubts.
"It's nothing, it's just Buddha oil!" Su Shu replied casually, making Xuan Lingjun's face look not very good all of a sudden.
There is no way, Buddha oil can actually be said to be a specialty of Xiao Kyushu in the past, although it is used specifically for Buddhism, but because the sacrificial refining method is extremely cruel, it is unacceptable for a person like Xuan Lingjun who has seen a lot of storms.
"How could there be such a thing circulating in Jiuzhou?" Xuan Lingjun reacted immediately after his initial disgust subsided.
"Since the method brought by Mrs. Huang Quan has been handed down, naturally some people are willing to try it. ”
"Then how could they hide the many great virtues of Buddhism?" Xuan Lingjun raised new doubts, but then quickly knew the reason,
Among the top strength of Jiuzhou, that family and that faction did not have one or two blessed land cave heavens, or even affiliated heaven and earth.
Those people boil Buddha oil in these blessed lands, caves, and affiliated heavens and earths, and even if many great masters of Buddhism have thousands of hands and thousands of eyes, they can manifest at will, save suffering, and save suffering, separated by the barrier of heaven and earth, and no matter how specially blinded they are, they will not be able to sense it.
Not to mention, at the junction of the Netherworld Demon Continent and the Western Fanzhou Continent, there are small-scale conflicts between Buddhism and demons from time to time. These monks in the Demon Continent, even if they boil in their own territory, what can the Buddha Sect do? If they can kill them, it will not be today, and the sky above the Demon Continent is still shrouded in a strong resentment.
"Hey!" sighed, and Xuan Lingjun turned to ask Li Hao about his honorable question.
Hearing this, Su Shu smiled and said, "The deity has gradually entered the better realm, and it won't be long before we can completely bring the Innate Void Qi into control, but the same problem is that as the deity gradually grasps the power of the Immortal Realm, the enemies we need to face are becoming more and more troublesome." ”
"This is nature!" Xuan Lingjun, who didn't know what he needed to face, thought that the trouble Su Shu said was because of the improvement of cultivation and the change of the social circle, and the change of the enemy that he needed to face driven by nature, his focus was on the change in Li Haocheng's cultivation.
"What is the current strength of Mingwei Zhenren?"
