Chapter 609: Confucianism and Buddhism

Hearing Hanzhen's cough, the others reacted.

"You see, when I interjected, I said that I was excited, and I haven't heard the real method yet! I'm really embarrassed. ”

Zhang Haotian also realized something at this time and hurriedly apologized.

Zhang Haotian, the true saint, and the true essence are one, but they are independent of each other, develop freely, and will not be bored to check each other's thoughts.

In the eyes of Zhang Haotian and the True Sage, he was a saint after all, and the laws and secrets of the Heavenly Dao he mastered gave them an advantage, especially when dealing with foreign enemies, the way he thought of must be more suitable.

However, they also reacted immediately: "Hanzhen is the leader of Shinto, where is the Shinto of Hanzhen in Buddhism?"

The true saint said apologetically: "Even if Buddhism flourishes, after all, it is the way of faith, and it should be Shinto." ”

Zhang Haotian also echoed: "That's what it means." ”

Their meaning is obvious, Buddhism is based on Shinto and truthfulness.

Han Zhen is one with them, of course he won't have other ideas, but he had some ideas before, so he said: "I'm afraid the two Dao brothers misunderstood what I meant, but I also have some ideas, just communicate with you." ”

Seeing that everyone nodded yes, Han Zhen said: "The same idea as the two Dao brothers, it is also to gather everyone's wisdom and strength, but my goal is Confucianism." ”

Hearing Han Zhen say this, Zhang Haotian said: "Tell me what you think!"

Han Zhendao: "I chose Confucianism, I was thoughtful. To say that the greatest ability to gather everyone's strength is more than the state, and through the development experience of Confucianism in the southern Ganbu continent, Confucianism can be well integrated with the country, using the power of the country to promote, and at the same time, there is no limit to qualifications, and anyone can learn Confucianism. ”

Hearing Han Zhen say this, Zhang Haotian and the True Sage both fell into deep thought.

As a saint, it goes without saying that he is superior in wisdom, and he can quickly analyze the pros and cons of this.

In his family's view, Confucianism and Buddhism are the difference between routes.

Buddhism represents the common people's line, and it follows the revolutionary line from the bottom up, and what is needed is that Buddhism has strong persuasive power and organizational ability.

Confucianism, on the other hand, represents the elite plus commoner line, taking the top-down reform line, which requires the support of the ruler and the state, as well as the organizational ability of Confucianism, but more importantly, the leadership ability.

Both have their advantages and disadvantages. If Buddhism is a new sect after all, it will naturally be slower to attract believers by relying on the personal ability of the founder, and at the same time, it will inevitably face a huge conflict with the immortal cultivators.

The same is true of Confucianism, although it has developed vigorously in the southern Ganbu continent because of its exclusive respect for Confucianism, it must also face many difficulties in expanding to other non-human tribes, and at the same time needs the support of the state.

However, in a comprehensive comparison, the advantages of Confucianism are greater than those of Buddhism, not to mention that Confucianism has developed for hundreds of thousands of years, has a profound heritage, is well-organized, and has a large number of disciples.

In addition, the Confucian sect cultivated Haoran righteousness through the altar in the Southern Ganbu Continent, and the way to enhance the strength of the disciples could also turn ordinary people who were powerless into super Saiyans.

And the children of Buddhism still need to cultivate if they want to have combat effectiveness, which is a huge advantage of Confucianism.

Zhang Haotian and the True Sage are faced with a dilemma.

Zhang Haotian smiled bitterly: "I thought I had a good plan, but after listening to Hanzhen, I felt that the advantages of Confucianism were very obvious, and its Buddhism was as good as it, which was a little difficult to do." ”

The true saint looked at Han Zhen and said helplessly: "Three stinkers, Zhuge Liang." It's really a one-person plan, obviously Confucianism has a greater advantage, it would be good to discuss it with you earlier, and it wouldn't have fallen into such a passive state. ”

"Is there anything else I don't understand?"

Faced with this kind of multiple-choice question with obvious advantages and disadvantages, Zhang Haotian and the True Sage smiled bitterly, and Han Zhen felt bad.

He didn't suspect that the two saints had any conspiracy, after all, the three of them were one, so they never spoke politely to each other.

Zhang Haotian said: "It's also that we are self-righteous and think that the way we think is very good, so we sacrifice to heaven and earth, and we have been approved by heaven." ”

"What?" Han Zhen immediately understood, once the Heavenly Dao was recognized, he would strongly support Buddhism.

Just as the Heavenly Dao achieved the transformation of promoting the gods and suppressing the Tao through the previous canonization of the gods, the Heavenly Dao recognized Buddhism as a choice to realize its own intentions, and it would suppress other sects, making Buddhism flourish as a trend.

As if in order to confirm Hanzhen's thoughts, when Zhang Haotian, the true saint, and Hanzhen smiled bitterly, a grand voice sounded in the heavens and the earth: "I, Siddhartha Gautama, am Shakyamuni, and today I am a great Buddhist, and I will establish a world of Buddhahood, and those who believe in me will not fall into the law of reincarnation, stay away from the ten sufferings, enter the boundless world of Buddha, and enjoy boundless purity." ”

It turned out that Gautama, the great disciple of the true sage, was inspired by the way of heaven, once had an epiphany, enjoyed the great way, and established Mahayana Buddhism.

After Gautama finished speaking, boundless merit descended from the sky, and a whirling world took shape, emitting bursts of Sanskrit sound and boundless clear light, and when Gautama entered it, it was hidden.

Then another grand voice sounded in the heavens and the earth: "I am going to mention that the saint disciple Immeasurable is Amitabha Buddha, in charge of the Western Elysium, as the Buddha of Amitayus and the Buddha of Infinite Light, and those who believe in me will be able to enter the Elysium and enjoy boundless purity." οΌ‚

Then, like Gautama, under the action of the Heavenly Dao, a Western Elysium was formed, which was Theravada Buddhism, and the immeasurable Elysium disappeared.

There is a difference between Mahayana Buddhism and Hinayana Buddhism: in the case of Hinayana Buddhism, he starts from the practice of absolute moral precepts and theoretical understanding, and reaches the realization of meditation and attains liberation, and his ultimate goal is to get rid of the circle of life and death in this world and to live forever in the fruit of absolute silence and purity. As a matter of fact, it is not known whether this pure and silent Dao fruit is the essence of life in the universe and whether it can really liberate itself from the cycle of birth and death.

From the point of view of Mahayana Buddhism, these are all big problems. At the same time, the realm of Dhyana, according to Shakya, is a kind of common law, the so-called common law, is not unique to the Dharma, all ordinary secular people, other religions, different academic people, as long as they understand the doctrine and work hard to practice, can achieve a similar state, not the ultimate righteous method, they only know that they are tired of leaving the world, seeking their own satisfaction, solving the segmented role of the flow of life, they think that they have been freed from birth and death, living in the realm of silence and tranquility, only falling on the fruit of emptiness, which is equivalent to escaping the selfish hermit of the world, and is a practitioner of complete personal freedom。

Soon after the establishment of Mahayana Buddhism and Hinayana Buddhism, another voice sounded in the heavens and the earth.

Han sincerely felt bitter: "Is it still Buddhism, is the situation really irreversible? Where will the Confucian sect go?"
