There are already three disciples under the Xuyun monk, named Chuandeng, Haiyin and Benhuan.
Qin Di worships Zhenru Temple, and the first step is to shave.
Qin Di looked at the long hair on the top of his master's head and asked, "Master, can this step be avoided?"
Monk Xuyun shook his head: "No, hair represents the troubles of the world, the wrong habits of the past and the heart of pride and slackness. ”
Qin Di boldly asked, "Master, why do you still have your hair?"
Monk Xuyun said lightly: "The old man's hair is a special stoppage, the product of a specific stage, cough cough, I won't talk about the past years......
Since you want to shave, then shave, anyway, for Qin Di, this is all outside the body, as long as the mind moves, it can grow back at any time.
After the shaving was completed, Xuyun threw him three sutras, one "Diamond Sutra", one "Vima Sutra", and one "Ranga Sutra", and said: "Being a teacher is a line of Zen Buddhism, and Zen Buddhism pays attention to pointing directly to people's hearts and seeing nature to become a Buddha." The main means are zazen and epiphany. After becoming a teacher, I will slowly teach you, and in the end, whether you can achieve merit or not depends on your own character. ”
Qin Di clasped his palms together and said, "Thank you for the master's teaching." May I ask Master, what is our Buddhist sect pursuing?"
Xuyun replied: "With a clear mind, you will enter the holy world, transcend all time and space, cause and effect, past, and future, and gain freedom from all worldly things and all comforts, and then become a Buddha." ”
"Master, what is clear mindfulness, and what does this 'sex' mean?"
It refers to the pure and natural heart that people have originally, the heart is pure, the Buddha nature is inherently there, and only by seeing nature can we become a Buddha. ”
"Master, is the human mind so powerful? I heard that the Buddha is omnipotent, is it also cultivated in this way?"
Xuyun was silent for a moment, and said: "The beginning is the Buddha's heart, the good heart, the pure heart, and the free heart, this heart is surrounded by worldly cause and effect, and is contaminated by all kinds of vices. In the end, the Buddha's fire is sublimated and becomes a true Buddha, so that he can penetrate the heavens and the earth, catch the clouds and the moon, and have the great ability to be otherworldly. ”
Qin Di listened to it and seemed to understand, but there were still many questions. He wanted to ask again, but was stopped by Xuyun.
Xuyun waved his hand and said, "You memorize these three scriptures first." Then go to the Nine Bitter Sea to meditate for a hundred years. ”
Qin Di swept the scriptures in his hand and quickly memorized the scriptures. However, the subsequent speculation and understanding cannot be completed in a day or two.
He complied, walked slowly to the edge of the Nine Bitter Seas, and sat down cross-legged.
At the beginning, his thoughts were chaotic, as if he was a mess, but gradually, his mind began to settle down, and he soon entered the realm of the first meditation, purifying his mind and not moving.
The first Zen belongs to the world's Zen, the so-called world's Zen, that is, the general folk or people who cultivate their minds, in order to refine the Dan and refine the qi, so that the body can get health and tranquility, meditate, meditate, or absorb the aura of the tree under the big tree, and even meditate under the sun and the moon, regardless of day and night, can prolong life, achieve physical and mental well-being and comfort, and even have healing and induction deeds, such a practice, Buddhism calls it the world's Zen, these are still a long distance away from enlightenment!
The realm of the first Zen is divided into three realms, which are called "three days" by Buddhism, that is, Brahma, Brahma, and Great Brahma, and these three days do not need to be eaten, so there is no nose and tongue and two senses, but only the joy and the eyes, ears and body are corresponding, and the joy is corresponding to the consciousness.
It only took Qin Di three months to complete the first meditation, because he was originally a spirit immortal, and it was not very difficult to not eat, drink, and move like a mountain.
Then, he entered the realm of two meditations.
In the pure heart, the gross leak has been lurked, and it is called the second Zen.
The two meditations also have three days, that is, the three days of less light, the immeasurable light, and the light and sound day, and these three days have no first five consciousnesses, only consciousness, so there is only joy and receiving, corresponding to consciousness.
Half a year later, Qin Di entered the Three Zens.
Calm in the heart, full of joy, called the three Zen.
The three meditations also have three days, that is, the three days of less pure heaven, immeasurable pure heaven, and all pure heaven, and these three days are slightly the same as those of the two meditations, but the appearance of consciousness is more pure and wonderful.
This step, Qin Di took a little time, in order to achieve the true purity of the heart, it took three years.
Then, he began to enter the realm of the Four Meditations.
There are no five senses, and there is no joy and acceptance, only giving, corresponding to consciousness, which is called the four meditations.
There are nine heavens in the four meditations, namely, the cloudless sky, the blessed life day, the Guangguo day, the thoughtless day, the troublefree day, the heat-free day, the good seeing day, the good appearance day, and the color heaven and so on.
Qin Di spent twenty years on this level.
When it was finished, before I opened my eyes, I heard the master Xuyun monk say: "The teacher has asked you to sit in meditation for a hundred years, but I didn't expect to complete the first step in only twenty years." In the first meditation day, there is a fire outside because the mind is uncertain, in the second meditation day, there is a flood outside, because of the meditation and joyful mind, in the third meditation day, there is a wind disaster outside, and in the fourth meditation, all internal and external troubles are nothing, so all disasters cannot befall the body. ”
Qin Di sat quietly, still not opening his eyes, and the master's voice kept coming from his ears:
"Then you don't get up, you can continue to sit down. After studying the Four Meditations and Eight Determinations of Buddhism, you have completed the four meditations, which is considered to be the end of the practice of the colored realm. Later, he began to enter the colorless realm, and began to step into the 'Four Void Determinations', also known as the 'Four Colorless Determinations'. ”
"What are the four emptiness? They are the boundless emptiness of the mind: it is the practitioner's mind that wants to be free from the cage of color (color aggregate substance) that is full of suffering, so that the mind can be in harmony with the boundless emptiness. Boundless cognition: It is the pedestrian who is disgusted with the external emptiness, so he abandons the emptiness and the inner cognition, so that the mind and the consciousness are boundless. Nothingness is fixed: It is the pedestrian who is disgusted with his cognition, and the contemplation of the mind is nothing, so that the mind corresponds to nothingness. Non-thinking, non-thinking, non-thinking: no coarse thinking (non-thinking), and not no careful thinking (non-thinking), so as to be intoxicated, without love, pure and inaction......"
After saying that, the Void Cloud Monk left again.
Qin Di continued to meditate, not eating or drinking, not wanting to move, and it took another thirty years to complete the first step in the Four Void Determinations.
After another forty years, the second step was completed.

It took a total of three hundred years to complete the Four Meditations and Eight Determinations from the time he came to the Nine Bitter Sea to meditate, and at this time, his body became emaciated, but that sixth-order Buddha fire had been elevated from the dantian to his heart, lighting up his entire heart palace!
He still didn't eat or drink, and he didn't open his eyes.
In this way, after another 800 years, he had become skinny and woody, and he completely refined this Buddha fire and transformed it into his own life fire.
This Buddha fire has a complicated origin, it was originally an unknown low-level spiritual fire, perhaps from a little monk who worshiped the Buddha in meditation, a little Buddha light left after death, after Qin Di's hands, after repeated fire sacrifices, it gradually grew up, in the process of fire sacrifices, Qin Di's divine consciousness has been added, despite this, it took him a thousand years to truly become in harmony with his own Buddha heart, and completely become his own Buddha fire.
At this time, Qin Di hadn't gotten up yet, and the master Monk Xuyun came again!
