Chapter 564: What Can You Do Ghosts

Jiang Shui Mei knew that the gods were mean and unreasonable, and thought that there would be a heavy responsibility for this, but who knew that she was just asked to recite the precepts and confess her own sorrows, which was really gracious.

Jiang Shuimei didn't dare to argue, and only hoped that after reciting the precepts, the gods would be able to show a little affection and send a few divine envoys to rescue Jiang Peifeng.

Ming Qin has practiced since childhood, and has read a lot of the classics of the three religions, although he is not a little happy and sincere to the saints of the three religions, but he only admires his great personality and knowledge, and is different from the worldly good men and women, burning incense and worshiping the Buddha, seeking good fortune.

The people of Zhongxia cannot be said to have no faith, but they are not as superstitious as other religions, and this kind of psychology is actually the result of the teachings of the two sages of Zhou Gong and Confucius.

The Zhou metric system of ceremonial music, with the Confucian priests who presided over the ceremony to replace the witches who served the ghosts and gods, swept away the customs of the Yin people and ghosts. Confucius understood that the things of ghosts and gods are not easy for humans to know and understand, so he did not speak of strangeness, power, chaos, and gods. The attitude towards ghosts and gods is very rational, and there are words such as 'I don't know life, I don't know death', and 'I can't help people, but I can't do ghosts'.

However, the original Shinto religion of the world has not been completely eliminated, because ghosts and gods are in the desert, and no human beings can know whether they exist or not. And it is not close to the fundamental problem of life, Zhuangzi said, 'Outside the Liuhe, the sage exists and does not care'. Confucius said, 'Knowing is knowing, not knowing is not knowing', and it is not wise to know if you don't know it.

With the progress of human knowledge, all false accusations made to the wall will be self-defeating after a long time, and will only increase the laughing stock. What's more, in order to maintain the center of the earth, the Westerners say that they are not afraid to torture and persecute those who adhere to the truth, and the so-called faith is not self-deception.

Human beings, as weak creatures in the Three Realms, in the era of Ru Mao drinking blood, the environment is harsh, survival is difficult, and some idols are needed as spiritual sustenance.

Seeking advantages and avoiding disadvantages is the need for survival and the instinct of things. And then worship creatures that are more powerful than oneself, worship them as idols, and seek refuge, the origin of this ghost and god is not only reasonably necessary, but also in fact possible.

But for human beings to perish, not only do they become more and more materially rich, but they also have a way to be spiritually self-reliant.

Among the disciples of Confucius, Yan Hui is the most sage. Yan Hui lives in the alleys, coarse clothes and bad food, people are unbearable, and they can not change their happiness. Every time Song Ru says that he is looking for a face and returning to a happy place, he can be said to be good at emulating the sages of his predecessors. In short, this spiritual self-reliance is not dependent on ghosts and gods.

There is a saying, 'The gentleman is frank, and the villain is a relative'. The gentleman is happy to know his fate, the spirit is sufficient, so he can be frank and undemanding, the villain's heart is happy because of things, and his feelings are sad by himself, and his joy and anger are affected by foreign objects, so he always wants to find an idol for the spirit, and he is sheltered under it, which looks like faith, but has no roots.

When Buddhism spread to the east, scholars were still able to study the meaning of the scriptures and explore the doctrine. The secular people only know how to burn incense and worship the Buddha and seek blessings. In order to confront the Buddhists, Taoism absorbed the first-class sages of Laozi and Zhuangzi, the number of yin and yang techniques, and the magic of immortals, and then plagiarized the Buddhist scriptures and imitated the scriptures, and it actually became a major sect in Huanghuang.

Later, the three religions said that the ritual religion of Song Confucianism was shrouded in the whole society, and it was almost indistinguishable from religion.

The ancients said, 'Heaven does not give birth to Zhongni, but eternity is like a long night'. In terms of Confucius's influence on the Middle Xia, it is indeed not excessive. There are countless races in the Three Realms, some have a high culture, some have a low culture, and a high culture must have given birth to some saints with handsome personalities and profound wisdom, teaching a number of disciples, accumulating years and months, and gradually reaching the situation of the same book and the same line, which is what the ancients called the success of human culture.

Zhongxia and Siyi are slightly similar in appearance, there is no doubt about the same species, the geographical proximity is close, and they are also the same family since ancient times. Later, one clan produced saints, received ritual education, and the culture became more and more profound, while the other was not enlightened, and was in the same group as birds and beasts, and the original brothers of the same clan became a foreign race with very different customs and habits as soon as they grew up.

There are heavenly saints, there are human saints, heavenly saints such as Lao Tzu, the ancients called it a broad real person. Lao Tzu advocates nature, takes the way of heaven as his return, and his vision and mind are very accessible. Taoism has Lao Tzu Hu Zhi said, although absurd, but the Buddha's vision is indeed comparable to Lao Tzu.

In the "Diamond Sutra", it is broken that I see, people see, sentient beings see, and long-lived people see. Zhuangzi's fable says that the barbarians and the two countries live on the tentacles of snails, fighting for land and ambushing tens of thousands of corpses. are enough to break prejudices and detach.

Lao Tzu saw the greatest, so he was particularly humble, cautious, and free from arrogance.

Humane saints such as Confucius, Mozi, and Joshua paid special attention to the fate of mankind, preached charity, and hoped to improve human relations.

The ancients said, 'A gentleman is not a party'. Once the group of parties will lose the spirit of independent thinking, whether it is Buddhism, Taoism or Mohist, with a strict organization of monks and Taoists, it is not possible to tolerate dissent, Mojia is still virtuous, Shang Tong, Shang Xian is the premise of Shang Tong, the leader is virtuous, and the believers are not too big a problem to follow his will. However, the sages do not come out of the world, and they cannot win people after a few transmissions, and they do not rely on the personality of the leader, but can only rely on some rules and precepts, so it is inevitable that superstition will become deeper.

In fact, the influence of saints will gradually diminish over time, and new saints will need to emerge at that time. Mencius said, 'In five hundred years, there will be kings and world-famous people.' Taishi Gong's book "Historical Records" is also based on Shao Mingshi, following the self-expectations of the Spring and Autumn Period.

In fact, the biggest influence after Confucius was not these two people, but Zhu Xi. It can be said that for more than a thousand years, Zhu Xi's influence has overshadowed Confucius. It's just that Zhu Xi obeyed Confucius and thought he had inherited Confucius's career.

After the Song Dynasty, Zhu Xi's four books and chapters were used, and the world's understanding of Confucius was no longer the original face of Confucius, but the Confucius in Zhu Xi's interpretation, and Zhu Xi could be said to be the spokesperson of Confucius.

Some people compare Taixi academics and believe that the Zhongxia culture focuses on the cause and attack, and rarely creates, and the most brilliant in the scholarship is the contention of a hundred schools of thought in the pre-Qin era, and it has been difficult to go beyond its scope since then.

Therefore, sages like Zhu Zi and Yang Ming all said that their knowledge was just an interpretation of the sages, and the advantage was that the Zhongxia culture had a good inheritance, and they still felt very kind when they mentioned Confucius more than 2,000 years ago. The disadvantage is that Confucius, Zhu Xi, and Wang Yangming have plausible faces, and if you don't read their books carefully, you won't know which doctrines they created themselves.

It is the honor that belongs to Confucius, and the infamy is also concentrated on Confucius, and the shortcomings of the culture are often attributed to Confucius 2,000 years ago, and Zhu Xi more than 1,000 years ago. (To be continued.) )
