It's just that "all appearances are false", and if there is a self, a human appearance, a sentient being, and a long-lived person, it is not a bodhisattva.

Compared with ordinary people, bodhisattvas are better at controlling their seven emotions and six desires, without heart, without thoughts, without joy, anger and sorrow in their hearts.
