Chapter 561: Which is true and which is false
(Today is at least seven watches, ask for a ticket! This is the first change!)
He wears a phoenix-winged purple and gold crown and gold chain mail. Holding a wishful golden hoop stick, pedaling lotus silk steps. The forehead ring is golden and bright, and the fiery eyes are flying lightning. The phoenix wings and long feathers sway in the wind, and the big red cloak spreads in the wind. The golden hoop rod rotated like a wheel, and the sound resounded throughout the world.
The two monkeys fought all the way, came to the sky above the Mirror Lake, and shouted downward: "Third brother, come out quickly, grab this monster for my old grandson, so that my old grandson can send him back to the west with a stick!"
"Third brother, quickly use your eyebrows to distinguish between your eyebrows, so that this monster can show its original form!"
Seeing these two identical monkeys appear, all the demons were dumbfounded.
Erqing is in a trance, how many years has it been since Journey to the West?
He put away the yaoqin, got up, and came to the edge of the terrace. Da Bai's figure moved and came to Erqing's side. Erqing sent a message to Xiaoqing and Hongya, asking them to stand behind them.
Then he asked, "Second brother, what's going on?"
So, the two monkeys told Erqing and Dabai what happened before, and when the demons heard it, they also looked at each other, surprised and inexplicable.
"Third brother, Lao Sun knows, your eyebrows and eyes can break through the falsehood and penetrate the origin, you can see for my Lao Sun, who is true and who is fake, so that Lao Sun can kill this fake with a stick!"
Erqing laughed, opened his eyebrows, and looked at the two monkeys.
At this glance, his brows furrowed slightly, and his smile narrowed.
Because, the two monkeys in his eyebrows seem to be almost the same, only a few subtle differences.
Erqing had learned seventy-two changes with the monkey in the Wuzhuang Temple, so he was absolutely very clear about the breath of the monkey.
The aura of the two monkeys is almost identical, the only difference is that the negative emotions of one of them are much stronger than the other. And it is precisely this one whose negative emotions are stronger that he worships with them in the Wuzhuang Temple.
In the depths of his memory, many Journey to the West fans are speculating that in the real and fake monkeys, the one who was killed was likely to be the real monkey, and the one who was alive was the six-eared macaque.
Later, a director made this speculation into a movie, in that movie, Lao Tang actually became the son of a six-eared macaque, and the screenwriter's brain hole was not convinced.
But now, Erqing can say responsibly that there are no six-eared macaques here, only two identical monkeys. It's just that one has more good thoughts, and the other has more evil thoughts.
It's like two different personalities of the same person.
Two sides of a coin.
But something seems wrong.
Because both monkeys have evil thoughts, but one has more and the other has less. There are also good thoughts in the two monkeys, one is less and the other is more. If it is really two opposite personalities with two sides of the same coin, then it should be one pure evil and the other pure righteousness.
There are many possible reasons for this.
Therefore, Erqing felt that both of them were true and both were false.
Together, they may be the real monkeys.
So, here's the problem!
Why did the Buddha lie in the original book that one of them was a six-eared macaque?
Why did these two personalities manifest and finally kill one without merging them?
Judging from the fact that Buddhism has always been 'compassionate', the one that was killed in the end should be the one with heavier evil thoughts!
But the question is, this monkey is the one who really worships his brother! Is it because he has more evil thoughts in his heart that he wants to abandon him and let the Buddha kill him?
Erqing can't do that.
Of course, he couldn't kill a monkey with good intentions for the sake of his brother.
The best thing to do is to find a way to make the two become one again.
But to do this, with Erqing's current cultivation, there is nothing he can do. Because this monkey's cultivation is comparable to his, how can he easily restrain them?
"Third brother, what can you see between your eyebrows?" said the 'real' monkey.
"Third brother, he's a fake, help me capture him!" said the 'fake' monkey.
Erqing smiled, "You are already two sides of the same body, how can you say that it is true or false?" Second brother, why don't I help you subdue the other side of yours, and then you will become one!"
"Third brother, don't laugh, if you can't tell the difference, my grandson will go to the Buddha!"
"Let's go, go to the Buddha! Third brother, say goodbye!"
"Don't hurry to go! Don't hurry to go!" Er Qing smiled and said: "Second brother, let me ask you, when I was in Wuzhuang Temple, which of the seventy-two kinds of change techniques you taught me that you didn't teach?"
If you really want to go to the Buddha, it is estimated that the monkey who worships him will die!
When the two monkeys heard this, they wanted to speak, but Erqing raised his hand to stop him: "Come one by one, one person says one, come in turn!"
"The Art of Obstacle!"
"Invisibility!"
"Recruit!"
"Go!"
"Freeze!"
"Doppelganger!"
......
The two monkeys, you say a word to me, which makes Er Qing more sure in his heart, this matter is definitely the Buddha behind his back. Since the other one is not a six-eared macaque, who else can read the memories from the monkey silently, except for the Buddha?
And only the Buddha has a reason to destroy the monkey with deeper evil thoughts.
After all, the monkey will be canonized as a Buddha in the future, and the monkey without much evil in his heart is more in line with the conditions of Buddhism. lest the monkey be angry in the future and find trouble with him, the Buddha.
Could it be that after he becomes a Buddha, he will continue to be held with a golden hoop?
Getting rid of bad thoughts is really helpful for spiritual practice. When many practitioners practice themselves, they will constantly extinguish all kinds of evil thoughts and desires that come out of their minds.
Whether it is the six roots of Buddhism or the quiet inaction of Taoism, it needs to be 'quiet'.
And these negative thoughts are the great enemy of 'tranquility', which should be cut down and destroyed.
But the monkey doesn't seem to have this kind of thought, he does it spontaneously, even if he wears a golden hoop on his head, and occasionally plays with his temper, although the result is usually a painful lesson, but he still goes his own way, and forgets the pain of the scar.
But even if you get rid of evil thoughts, you don't need to kill one of them!
Erqing's mind was thinking quickly.
But in just a few breaths, the two monkeys had finished the spells they hadn't taught.
Erqing can only smile bitterly at this. Then he raised his hand and pointed at the monkey with more good thoughts, and said, "He's fake!"
At the same time, a fixation technique was directed at the 'fake' monkey.
The 'real' monkey raises its stick to meet it and throws it at the 'fake' monkey.
But Erqing held the monkey's iron rod with a sword and said, "Second brother, spare his life!"
"Amitabha! The donor's words are wrong! This monkey is fake!"
Without warning, the golden golden body of the World Venerable appeared in the sky above the Mirror Lake in Qingcheng.
Then a golden bowl headed towards the 'real' monkey hood.
