Chapter 7: The Diamond Sutra
The Shaolin Meditation Hall is an extremely spacious hall.
Every day, all the young novices from the temple to the top and bottom of the temple come here to do morning classes.
At the first sound of the bell, the young novices were already sitting cross-legged on the futon, chanting the Buddhist scriptures in unison.
At that time, the Sanskrit sound came out from afar, like the Buddha's big hand gently caressing the entire Shaomu Mountain.
When the second bell rings, the chanting stops, and the master of the temple asks questions and answers to the novices to check their practice.
Today, when this group of young novices came to the Jingsi Temple, they were surprised to find that the two uncles, Hong Ji and Hong Du, were also there.
Soon someone pointed them out, and the one sitting between the two uncles was a great villain!
Many young Shaolin disciples have already heard about Fang Zhongjin.
It is said that he is a young master who has fallen into the devil and once wanted to slaughter the entire Central Plains martial arts.
It was the abbot's kindness that made him wait to practice in Shaolin.
They may not know the ins and outs of the matter, but words like "master of demons" and "slaughtering martial arts" are really eye-catching.
Although Fang Zhongjin was only a tall young man, he was the same age as some of the older ones in the novices.
But under the preconceived consciousness, in the eyes of this group of Shaolin Temple monks, Fang Zhongjin seems to have two more heads and four arms, and he is even more green-faced fangs, which is not much different from the Fudo Ming King in the main hall.
Since Fang Zhongjin woke up, his seven emotions and six desires have become weaker, and at the same time, his perception of his surroundings has also become keen.
The fear and disgust that these little novices felt at him were clearly written on their faces.
Even if Fang Zhongjin didn't use Lu'er's physiognomy technique, he could clearly feel that in this incense-filled hall, Hong Ji was the only one who was not hostile to him.
As the novices came one after another, an old monk who was about forty or fifty years old slowly came to the main hall.
As soon as he entered, hundreds of nearly a thousand novices, large and small, all stood up in unison, bowed to the old monk and said, "Uncle Hong Yong!"
And Hong Ji and Hong Du, who were holding Fang Zhongjin, just stood up and did not bow down.
Obviously, although the age difference is more than ten years, Hong Ji, Hong Du and the so-called Hong Yong are the same generation.
Hong Yong was not surprised by this, but when he caught a glimpse of Fang Zhongjin sitting cross-legged among the two of them, he fixed his eyes for a moment.
After seeing it, he didn't show any superfluous emotions on his face, but walked forward without stopping.
Although Hong Yong did not express his position, Fang Zhongjin was keenly aware that there was one more person in this hall who did not like him.
Fang Zhongjin once guessed: To prove that his character is not bad, he may have to be respected and recognized by thousands of people in the Shaolin Temple.
Now that there are many debts, there is no worry, since the top and bottom of the Shaolin Temple hate and fear him, it makes no difference if there is one more person.
Hong Yong sat down in front of the Buddha's golden body, nodded to the novice who was sitting tightly in the hall, and struck the golden chime in front of him with a small cone.
A sharp and crisp sound immediately silenced the hall. Immediately after that, the novices and novices began to chant a Diamond Sutra in unison.
Since most of the novices were young, they did not recite Sanskrit, but the Kumarosh translation.
A group of novices closed their doors and meditated, chanting: "If I hear it, for a while, the Buddha is defending the country......
If the sound of this chanting is heard in the ears of good men and women, it will naturally be like the sound of the Buddha's will.
And those who do not practice ghosts and gods will only feel drowsy when they hear this.
Fang Zhongjin sat cross-legged with his eyes closed like other novices. But he didn't have words like the other monks.
I saw him with his eyes and nose and his nose at his heart, sitting upright and standing still.
This scene is seen in the eyes of Hong Yong. He had already been instructed by the abbot of Chengxuan, and he needed to temper and strike at this young man more.
It is good to arouse the unconvincing side of his heart.
After Hong Yong learned about this person's deeds, he deeply agreed with what his abbot did.
Before he came to the morning class, he also thought of some ways to make it difficult for young people.
It wasn't until now that I watched Fang Zhongjin's performance that I felt that I was too worried.
Why did this young man bother him? Looking at his motionless appearance, it was clear that he had not focused on reciting the Diamond Sutra.
Maybe he's dozing off now, and when the time comes, he won't be able to answer whatever he asks.
In fact, the flood of speculation is both right and wrong.
What is wrong is that Fang Zhongjin is not dozing off at this time, but what is right is that Fang Zhongjin's mind really did not focus on chanting Buddhist scriptures.
Just because he listened to the chanting of these novices, the gloomy mood in his heart seemed to melt away.
His internal strength originated from Taoism, and now he is sitting cross-legged, but he is secretly in harmony with his internal strength.
Unconsciously, Fang Zhongjin carried out the Taoist internal strength in the meditation hall of the Buddhist family.
What's even more strange is that although the Buddhist path is not of the same origin, the Buddhist scriptures recited by these novices are like a kind big hand, caressing Fang Zhongjin's stubborn and straight back.
When he was resented and feared by tens of millions of people, it seemed that only such a big hand gently comforted Fang Zhongjin.
And Fang Zhongjin, who forgot his worries for a moment, felt his inner peace, and his internal energy flowed smoothly and turbulently.
His internal strength had already reached the realm of physical perfection. The excess internal force could not break through the shackles, and the surging impact on Fang Zhongjin's internal strength.
This taste is always there, and although it can be suppressed, it will not make people feel comfortable for a moment after all.
And in this chanting sound, Fang Zhongjin ran his internal strength again, as if he had obtained a moment of peace.
Even the feeling of blockage in the blood veins has become a little looser.
Suddenly, he heard a clear sound of bell chimes, Fang Zhongjin opened his eyes, and the sound of the monks' chanting also stopped.
Hong Yong looked at the novices sitting cross-legged in front of them, and said loudly, "Everyone did a good job in this morning's class. But who can recite the Diamond Sutra for me alone?"
This was obviously the lesson that Hong Yong routinely inquired about his disciples after reciting the scriptures.
Many novices immediately sat up straight, waiting for the flood to reach them.
Hong Yong's gaze turned around in front of everyone, and finally said, "Just ask Master Fang to recite it silently for us." ”
At this moment, many monks were taken aback. They knew that this Uncle Hong Yong had been in the temple for decades, and he had been studying the scriptures and had not been involved in martial arts.
Now that he provoked the "big devil" by himself, I don't know if the "big devil" will be angry after making a fool of himself in front of him?
Although these disciples were afraid of Fang Zhongjin, they also paid attention to his every move all the time.
When everyone was chanting just now, this "big devil" didn't even open his eyelids.
Obviously, it was the first time for him to enter a Buddhist temple to recite sutras, and it was only right that he could not recite the Diamond Sutra.
Uncle Hong Yong easily provoked the "devil", and I don't know if the two uncles Hong Ji and Hong Du can control him?
You must know that he is the kind of demon who can "wash the entire martial arts with blood"!
And Hong Yong's palms were indeed sweating at this time, and he also knew that Fang Zhongjin was not easy to mess with.
But the mission given to him by the abbot must be completed.
He stared at Fang Zhongjin tightly, guarding against him from suddenly breaking out and hurting people.
Unexpectedly, Fang Zhongjin calmly straightened his back, and opened his mouth to recite aloud: "Nan Wu Ji Jia Mu Ni Rulai should confess and wait for enlightenment, Nan Wu Ji Jia Mu Ni Rulai should provide and wait for ...... enlightenment."
This is actually the Sanskrit word that is being recited!
