Section 8 Zou Cheng Meng Pei

In the early morning of the second day, Li Yishang was asleep, and suddenly felt an itch on his face, Li Yi subconsciously reached out to scratch it, but heard a burst of "hee-hee" laughter.

"Little Taoist, get up!" Su Mei's little hand brushed the tips of her hair around, so that Li Yi was not at peace, and when she saw Li Yi wake up, Su Mei became interested, leaned closer, and said, "Little Taoist, you said that we should go to Hengshan together?"

"Don't go, you have to go yourself!" I finally fell asleep last night, and I was woken up when I was sweet at this time, so Li Yi didn't want to think about it, so he refused.

"Hmph! You're so boring. Su Mei muttered complainingly, and then a trace of cunning flashed in her eyes, stretched out a pair of small hands and pushed Li Yi vigorously, and said angrily: "Little Taoist, if you don't accompany me to visit Hengshan, I won't allow you to sleep!"

Li Yi cried with a sad face, slowly got up, and wanted to go crazy: "Mei'er, I will give you the only bed to sleep on, and make the floor by yourself, what else do you want?"

"Okay, okay, you're a manly man, do you need to grab the bed with me, a little woman?" Su Mei pouted, looking very aggrieved, obviously cheap and obedient.

........................

After the two washed up, they came to the inn for breakfast, Nanyue Inn is divided into two parts, the front is a restaurant, and the back is a hotel.

Perhaps because it was too early, there were not many people at the moment, a Taoist priest and a monk sitting in a secluded corner, the Taoist priest held a handful of dust in his hand, the monk held a string of Buddhist beads in his hand, the Taoist priest was born with pointed heads and thin ears, but the monk was born with fat heads and square ears, the two sat together, looking very funny; and a scholar, holding a brush more than a foot long, was contemplating the towering Nanyue Heng Mountain in the distance outside the window.

"Two guest officers, morning, did you sleep well last night?" Seeing Li Yi and Su Mei coming in, the shopkeeper Su Fat greeted warmly and said, "Do you want to taste the three unique specialties of our Nanyue Hengshan?"

After Li Yi and Su Mei sat down, the second child in his own shop brought up a plate of Guanyin bamboo shoots, a plate of goose and goose fungi, and a pot of cloud tea, which is the so-called Nanyue Hengshan Three Uniques.

Li Yi took a sip of cloud tea, and sure enough, it was fragrant and refreshing.

"Immeasurable Tianzun, this goose goose fungus is loose and fat, tender and delicious, it really makes people appetize, Huikong monk, it's a pity that after today, you will have to be incognito, and you can't eat it anymore." ”

It was the pointy, thin-haired Taoist who spoke, and his tone was aggressive, but he didn't know what to do with the monk sitting across from him.

"Amitabha, Tianxuanzi Taoist friends are wrong, and the poor monk likes this fragrant and sweet, cool Guanyin bamboo shoots. Monk Huikong sang a promise and said, "Buddha Yun: Words are born from the heart, and they are all for themselves." What Daoist friends said in their mouths, I'm afraid it is exactly what they are worried about in their hearts!"

Huikong competed against each other, and did not lose the slightest advantage in the battle of words.

"The two of you come to our store to eat Hengshan Sanjing once every ten years, and then go to the Nanyue Hall to try it out, and now it's the fifth time, haven't you yet decided the winner?"

.....................

"The head is purple and faint, and there is no repetition of beans. The golden armor is swayed, and the green is haggard.

It has been ten years, and Confucianism is disadvantageous. The husband is not left behind, and the scholar is reduced to ......"

The scholar near the window suddenly waved his long sleeves and recited aloud the Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu's poem "The New School of Wenxuan Wang Temple in Hengshan County Presents Lu Zai".

In the past, Du Fu came to Hengzhou (Hengyang) to avoid the war, and at the invitation of Lu Zai, he watched the newly repaired Confucian Temple and made this poem.

The scholar's reading is subdued and frustrated, which makes people seem to be able to understand the poet Du Fu's resentment and desire for excellence at that time.

Su Mei looked at the scholar, smiled suddenly, and said to Li Yi: "Little Taoist, I didn't expect that in this Hengyang City, there are also your fellow Taoists." ”

Su Mei obviously remembered that Li Yi was in the Yunshan Courtyard, and every morning and dusk, Li Yi recited the classic stories of Confucianism and Taoism.

"I couldn't help but complain a little in the next time, but it was an insult to listen to the two!" The scholar heard Li Yi and Su Mei talking about themselves, so he turned his head and saluted the two of them: "Meng Pei in Lower Zou City, I have seen two of them since I studied here, and I haven't asked for the names of the two honorable people?"

"Xiaodao Yunshan faction Li Yi, this is Xiaodao's junior sister, surnamed Su. ”

Li Yi saw that Meng Peisheng had thick eyebrows and big eyes, and he was righteous and awe-inspiring, and he was humble and gentlemanly in his manners, gentle and polite, and he immediately felt good, so he returned the salute and reported to his family, the girl's name cannot be revealed casually, so Li Yi only said Su Mei's surname, and said:

"The son is from Zou City, and his surname is Meng, I don't know what it has to do with the Confucian sub-saint Mencius?"

Seeing that Li Yi mentioned Mencius, Meng Pei's face showed reverence, and he bowed to the north from afar, and said: "Yasheng justice is the next ancestor. ”

Li Yi and Meng Pei were talking here, but they didn't notice Tianxuanzi and Huikong over there, and when they heard Li Yi admit that he was a disciple of the Yunshan faction, his face was different, and he glanced at Li Yi, but when the two heard Meng Pei say that he was a descendant of Yasheng Mencius, they didn't say anything, and only buried their heads there eating goose mushrooms and Guanyin bamboo shoots.

Li Yi stood up, and like Meng Pei, he respectfully bowed to the north, and said: "Although Xiaodao is a Taoist person, he also admires the benevolence of Yasheng in his life. ”

........................

For thousands of years on the land of Kyushu, generation after generation of Fengliu characters have written their own legends and left their own strong marks in the history of the country. As far as the three sects and nine streams of the cultivation realm are concerned, which sect is not those who are amazingly talented, and they can only be passed down through the ages with their whimsical ideas, creation, or perfection?

Buddhism first had Bodhidharma ancestor 72 stunts, alone to preach in the east, and then there were six ancestors Hui Neng "one flower blooms five leaves, the fruit becomes natural", to carry forward; Taoism first had Taishang Laojun's "Tao Te Ching" sprinkled with 5,000 words, the opening of the sermon, and then there was a Nanhua Zhenren Zhuangzi "Nanhua Zhenjing", the "Tao" and "cultivation" completely displayed in front of the world, Taoism finally took root in every corner of the land of Kyushu, and thrived.

As for Confucianism, it is the sage Confucius and the sub-sage Mencius, who led a group of disciples to travel to the princes and countries, preaching the "inner sage" and "outer king" of "Confucianism", while the sub-sage Mencius specifically expounded what and how to achieve the highest level of Confucianism "benevolence", "righteousness", "propriety", "wisdom" and "faith".

Dharma Huineng, Lao Zhuang, and Confucius and Mencius, for their respective sects, are more like the yin and yang on the Taiji diagram, circulating and complementing each other!

It is often said in the Xiuzhen world: In the past, the Mohists and Confucianists were called the "Xianxue" of the pre-Qin Dynasty, and the hundreds of schools of thought such as Mo, Fa and other schools could not be spread to the public like the three religions of Daoism, Confucianism and Buddhism, not that Mojia Mozi and Legalist Han Feizi were inferior to Taoist Laozi, Confucian Confucius, and Buddhist Dharma, but that Mohists and Legalists did not appear like Taoist Zhuangzi, Confucian Mencius, and Buddhist Huineng.

However, Li Yi's admiration for Mencius comes more from the fact that in the feudal era of the supremacy of monarchy in Kyushu, Mencius was almost the only person who stood on the position of the common people at the bottom among the hundreds of princes.

When everyone was saying that "the monarch's power is granted by heaven", "the whole world is not the king's land, and the shore of the land is not the king's minister", Mencius said, "The people are precious, the community is secondary, and the king is light." "And "the king regards the minister as a sibling, the minister regards the king as the heart, the king regards the minister as a dog and a horse, the minister regards the king as a countryman, the king regards the minister as a mustard, and the minister regards the king as an enemy." And so on, it's simply "a big rebellion, you should kill the nine clans"!

........................

As the so-called "meeting old acquaintances in other places", seeing that Li Yi respected his ancestor Mencius as a Taoist priest, Meng Pei was very excited, sat down and said cordially: "No wonder Mr. Du Fu said in the poem, 'Although Hengshan is a small town, the first song is restored. "It's really because although the land of Jingnan is far away from the Central Plains, it has outstanding people, simple folk customs, and the soil for the growth of Confucius and Mencius!"

Saying that, Meng Pei sighed: "Brother Li, as a disciple of Taoism, has no prejudice against the door, and treats Confucianism and Taoism equally, Xiaosheng really admires Brother Li's broad-mindedness!"

Li Yixin said: My Yunshan sect ancestor Lu Sheng was originally a Confucian disciple, but he was later enlightened by Lu Dongbin and entered Taoism, and the disciples of the Yunshan faction have always practiced Confucianism and Taoism, how can they have that view of Confucianism?

However, this involved the secret of the cultivation of the Yunshan faction, so Li Yi had to admit with some shame that Meng Pei said that he was "broad-minded", and said humbly: "Don't dare, don't dare!"

Su Mei next to her saw Li Yi's appearance, covered her mouth and wanted to snicker, but Meng Pei looked at Su Mei's clever smile, hurriedly turned her eyes away, and talked to Li Yi without squinting.

Meng Pei's family history, side references, Li Yi is familiar with Confucian and Taoist classics in this life, and later generations are also well-informed, so the two of them feel that they have similar interests when they talk about it, and they have the meaning of hating each other.

........................

"Senior Brother Jun, Senior Sister Zhu, although we have been in Hengyang City for a few days, we haven't eaten the famous 'Three Uniques' of Nanyue Hengshan, how about tasting it today?"

Just as Li Yi Mengpei was talking, a voice came from outside the inn.

Li Yi's heart shook slightly, listening to this voice and the words "Senior Brother Jun" and "Senior Sister Zhu", these people must be the four people who came to Shigu Academy to look for secrets that he met last night.

The weather is very hot, and the update of the Buddha is a little slow, so I can't help you! But please rest assured, the Buddha will work hard to write a good book!

Note: This book is a pure aerial immortal, although there are three religions and nine first-rate characters in history, but it will not involve politics and the imperial court!

In addition, the Buddha expressed a point of view of his own (not necessarily correct, discuss it with Taoist friends): many scholars in Chinese history, the righteousness of the nation-state may often be on their lips, but in their bones they do not think so, they are more identified with the "scholar for the confidant of the death", whoever can achieve their ambitions (or meet their own requirements), will work for whom, regardless of who the object is, whether it is a foreign race or not.

Almost all the successful minority countries in Chinese history have a Han nationality or scholars who are proficient in Han culture, such as Wang Meng of the Former Qin, Yelu Chucai of the Yuan Dynasty, Fan Wencheng of the Qing Dynasty, and so on.

Another example is that when the Manchu Qing Dynasty fell, Wang Guowei, a master of Chinese studies, committed suicide to be loyal to the Festival of the Dead!
