This man was wearing a hat on his head, a cloth garment, a ring around his waist, and grass shoes under his feet, a steel axe in his hand, and a hemp rope on his shoulder, and he was chopping trees and chopping wood, but he was a woodcutter.

However, the monkey saw that the woodcutter was extraordinary, so he stepped forward and saluted, "The disciple has seen the old fairy. ”

But he said that this woodcutter was the guide arranged by Subodhi. Seeing the monkey at this time, the woodcutter smiled slightly: "I can't take the word fairy." ”

Seeing this, the monkey asked: "You don't deserve the word immortal, who else deserves it?"

Hearing this, the woodcutter took the opportunity to say: "This mountain is called Lingtai Fangcun Mountain, there is a three-star cave in the mountain, there is a god in the hole, known as the ancestor of Su Bodhi, is the real immortal." There are countless disciples who have been taught by Patriarch Nasu Bodhi, and there are still thirty or forty people practicing from him. If you follow that path and go seven or eight miles south, it will be his house. ”

Hearing the woodcutter say this, the monkey was overjoyed, and took the woodcutter and said, "Brother, since there are true immortals there, why don't you go with me, and if I get a good then, I can repay you for your guidance." ”

Hearing this, the woodcutter smiled and said, "You monkey doesn't know how to get along with the law. If I have a fairy fate, why don't I find it myself? Go, go, don't delay me to chop wood. ”

Hearing the woodcutter say this, the monkey could only thank the woodcutter and go on his own way.

The monkey said goodbye to the woodcutter, went out of the deep forest, found the path that the woodcutter said, followed the path, passed a hillside, about seven or eight miles away, and sure enough, he saw a cave.

Hearing this, the boy whispered a promise.

When the boy came out of the cave, he saw a monkey scratching his ears and cheeks outside, and the boy was naughty and intended to frighten the monkey, so he cried out, "Who is disturbing here?"

Hearing this, the monkey hurriedly stepped forward and explained to the boy: "The fairy child misunderstood, I am just a disciple who wants to come to ask the immortal to ask, and I dare not disturb the purity of the great immortal here." ”

Looking at the appearance of the monkey's head and monkey brain, Xiantong smiled and said, "Are you a Taoist?"
