Chapter 413: "Lie to Me Again, Bi Ma Wen"

It seems that becoming a Buddha has nothing to do with supernatural powers, nothing to do with skills, and nothing to do with quality. In the following view, Tang Seng became a Buddha because he had special qualities: one.

The goal is high and altruistic. Tang monks learn scriptures, not for themselves, but for all sentient beings. He is persistent and unremitting efforts to achieve this goal.

He didn't expect that taking a scripture would make him successful, but he inadvertently achieved himself. Buddha is also to benefit sentient beings, and altruism is the highest goal.

Therefore, Tang Seng has this fundamental quality. Two. Love and forgiveness, compassion for the heart. For demons and monsters, Tang Seng seems to be good or bad, always ask Sun Wukong's subordinates to be merciful, don't blindly kill, and give the world a feeling of conniving at bad people and monsters, in fact, this is Tang Seng looking at the world with the eyes of Buddha, seeing that their respective cultivation realms are different, giving maximum tolerance, allowing others to make mistakes, and not retributing for their own harm.

Four. Be humble and take the Tao as your teacher. In Journey to the West, Wukong often robs Master Bai as an apprentice, according to general secular etiquette, it is a great rebellion, but fortunately, they are people who seek the Tao, and they understand in their hearts that they take the Tao as their teacher.

For example, when Tang Seng is often frightened, Sun Wukong will always remind him, Master, you have forgotten what is said in the Heart Sutra again.

It can be seen that Tang Seng takes anyone as a teacher and the truth as a teacher, as long as you are right, he will gladly accept it and change it immediately.

If you really do a threesome, you must have my teacher. Such a teacher, so humble, rare in the ages, no wonder he became a Buddha.

Attached [The eighty-fifth chapter of "Journey to the West", but it is said that Tang Seng said goodbye to King Qinfa, and the four masters and apprentices happily went on the road.

In the place of joy, he suddenly saw a high mountain, which was a little fierce, and Tang Seng saw it, and gradually felt frightened, numb, and uneasy.

Wukong smiled:

"Have you forgotten Wuchao Zen Master's "Many Heart Sutras"?" Tang Seng said:

"I remember. Wukong said:

"The Buddha is not far away in the spiritual mountain, and the spiritual mountain is only in your heart. Everyone has a Lingshan Tower, so they can repair to the Lingshan Tower. Tang Seng said:

"Apprentice, don't I know? If you follow these four sentences, there are thousands of scriptures, and you are only cultivating the mind. Wukong said:

"Needless to say, the heart is pure and lonely, and the heart is clear. Mistakes become laziness and lack success for thousands of years. But to be sincere, Lei Yin is only for now. Like you, you are so frightened and frightened, your mind is restless, the road is far away, and the thunder is far away. Don't be suspicious, follow me. When Tang Seng heard this, his heart was refreshed, and all his worries were rested.

Therefore, when we study Buddhism, we learn that quality, that tolerant and generous heart, and that altruistic and grateful feelings.

It's not about memorizing Buddhist scriptures backwards, it's not saying one thing, doing another, and it's not sitting still. It's about trying to serve, to act.

Forgive yourself for not doing well; If you do well, you are grateful for the opportunity to serve and grow. In this way, on the road to goodness, overcome one's own laziness and fear of difficulties, overcome one's self-interested habits of thinking, and gradually approach perfection.

If you can do it, you will become a Buddha!
