This first realm is: the leaves are full of empty mountains, where to find the traces;

The second realm: the empty mountains are uninhabited, and the water flows and flowers bloom;

The third realm: the eternal sky, once the wind and the moon.

It's the same with the two poems I wrote!"

Without waiting for everyone to ask, Wang Dazhi spoke again: "Everything is from shallow to deep, and the same is true of the three realms of Zen Buddhism, and the two poems I wrote are also like this.

The first poem: The body is a Bodhi tree, the heart is like a mirror, always wipe diligently, don't make dust.

It is suitable for monks who are just beginning to understand the Dharma, because they are still in the state of first practicing the Dharma when they first enter the monastery and have a clear understanding of Zen principles. Profound Zen principles naturally need time to be thoroughly understood, so only by having a good attitude and diligent Zen as mentioned in the first poem can we slowly enter the ranks of advanced Buddhism. ”

Seeing this, Wang Dazhi continued: "The second poem is for the masters who have reached the realm of perfection of Buddhism, and when they reach this realm, everything has returned to its true nature.

Then the second poem: Bodhi has no tree, the mirror is not a platform, there is nothing originally, where to stir up dust. What's wrong with what you say, because in the eyes of the great monks, everything has already been repaid, and everything passes by the heart without leaving a trace!"

Hearing Wang Dazhi's explanation, the monks on the viewing platform were immediately brought into the artistic conception of the two poems by Wang Dazhi's words, and they were indeed like this after savoring it.
