"There is a mixture of things, and they are born from nature. Lonely, independent and unchanging, Zhou Xing without dying, can be the mother of the world. I don't know its name, the strong word is called "Tao", and the name of strong is called "big". The big is gone, the past is far away, and the far is reversed. Therefore, the road is big, the sky is big, the earth is big, and the people are big. There are four major domains, and people live in one of them. Man is the law of the earth, the earth is the law of the sky, the heaven is the law, and the Tao is the nature. ”

"Heaven and earth are unkind, and all things are dogs, and saints are unkind, and people are dogs. Between heaven and earth, it is like a void but not a faint, moving and coming out. It is better to keep in the middle than to hear more and be poor. ”

"The way of heaven is like a bow, the higher one suppresses it, the lower one lifts it, the surplus loses it, and the insufficient one makes up for it." The way of heaven is to make up for the deficiency when there is more than is lost. The way of man, otherwise, the loss is not enough to give more than enough. Who can have more than enough to serve the world? It is not to be ashamed of the saints, and to succeed and not to be punished. ”

This sermon is a mixed way, and those who are not enough in cultivation cannot be allowed, those who are not wise enough, those who are not strong enough are not, and those who are not in the body can be gained. There were 3,000 people who listened to the sermon in Zixiao Palace, only Li Er's original two got four and a half, Tongtian got five into eight, Nuwa got three into two, received three into eight, and Zhun Ti got two into nine. As for the people in the audience, Zhen Yuanzi, Styx, Fuxi, and Mu Yuan got five out of one, and Emperor Juntai and other quasi-saints got seven or eight points. Nothing else is gained.
