Prologue The dragon of death in the starry sky

Next Chapter

In the cold, dark depths of the universe, an unmanned space probe is flying slowly.

This is the New Horizon 1 probe launched by NASA from Cape Canaveral Air Force Base in Florida in 2006. After nine years of lonely travel, it is now infinitely close to Pluto, the farthest planet in the solar system that has not yet been explored by humans.

July 12, 2015, Hawkins University Physics Laboratory Control Center, USA.

"The MVIC facility is normal and the detection mission has begun. ”

"Radio wave data has been recorded, and the survey imager has produced high-resolution images that are being sent back to Earth and are expected to arrive in four hours. ”

"A dust counter is collecting and sampling atmospheric dust particles, and the probe will be flying at high speed about 6,000 miles across Pluto's southern hemisphere. ”

The staff of the laboratory were methodically carrying out various data collection work, and the huge control hall was quiet except for the "crackling" keyboard click.

"God, can anyone tell me, what is this?"

"My God.....

"Is this real?"

When the transmitted data is returned to Earth, it reaches the computer in the laboratory. As the screen appeared to be turned on little by little, a surprising picture shocked everyone!

In the vast starry sky, in the dark universe, a black dragon floated in the dust with a hideous face.

It was evident that it had been dead for a long time, and was covered in silver bows and arrows. His chest was pierced by a sharp sword, and his twisted body seemed to want to get rid of the endless pain and torment.

Most of the black scales had fallen off, and the vast expanses of blood and mutilated dragon claws spoke of the fierceness and cruelty of the battle. Its eyes looked so frightened that its blood-colored eyes lost their due domineering and were replaced by gray and dull. The stunned expression was like an unimaginable impact that directly shattered the dragon's heart.

Images were still streaming in, the lab receiver's fingers trembling, and a cold aura condensed on the ceiling. Several young female staff members hugged each other directly, screaming loudly!

Behind the corpse of the black dragon, it turned out to be a blue planet. At an average distance of 5,913,520,000 kilometers from the Sun, there are planets full of life.

However, what is observed on Earth is a different picture, with a faint halo, a temperature below -220°C, and a layer of solid methane ice on the surface, which is yellow and gray.

What is the force that envelops this mysterious planet?

And what is it that obscures the surface of Pluto and deceives the human eye?

The picture was transmitted again, and this time the picture was even more shocking! The five companion stars around Pluto were only Charon, Charon, and Helldog, and the other two disappeared from the universe. The remaining three grew ladders and stretched countless lengths directly into Pluto's sphere. It's just that compared to the blue planet, these three companion stars are very dim. The pitch-black sphere was filled with black smoke that covered the sky, as if it wanted to swallow Pluto.

When all the images were transmitted, the lab fell silent for a long time. When the incredible feeling swept over again, the hall suddenly boiled.

"This is the Hawkins University Physics Laboratory Control Center. Please connect me to Earth. ”
