Chapter 663: Tongue Battle (1)

Everyone stopped laughing, but Wu Ziniu was already so ashamed that his face was flushed, and he was embarrassed, and he found that the gap between himself and Gongsun Wuwu was too far, even if he stayed on the stage, it would be useless, so he stood up and turned around and left the wooden platform.

As soon as Wu Ziniu left the wooden platform, the twenty-first Confucian immediately came to the stage, grabbed the golden bell on the table, shook it a few times, and then got off the golden bell, arched his hand to the surroundings, and said loudly: "Under the mountain is Chen Ru, I listened to the words of Gongsun Gongzi just now, and it was really a lotus flower, and his argument was unparalleled." But I don't understand a little bit below, I still have to ask Gongsun Gongzi for advice, and I also ask Gongsun Gongzi to give me advice!"

Gongsun Wuwu smiled slightly and said, "Please say it's okay!"

Chen Ru sorted out his thoughts slightly, and said: "The so-called elders and young have continuation, and monarchs and ministers have Tao, so the Tao gives birth to one, one life to two, two to three, and three to all things." That's why there are people who are the law of the earth, the earth is the law of the sky, the heaven is the law of the Tao, and the Tao is the law of nature.

Therefore, there are jackals, tigers and leopards, pigs, horses, cattle and sheep, chickens, ducks, dogs and rabbits, flowers, birds, fish and insects. Although all this is also the transformation of the Tao, but in the end, it is not the same species, may I ask Brother Gongsun, are chickens, ducks, tigers and leopards equal?"

Gongsun was stunned for a moment, took a piece of paper handed over by Hua Jieyu, looked at it twice, and rattled the bell and replied: "Brother Chen, why do you say this? Chickens, ducks, tigers and leopards are not the spirits of all things, it doesn't matter whether they are equal or unequal, what we are talking about today is human ethics, and it does not involve Taoist metaphysics!"

"Bad, bad!" Chen Ru rattled the bell and said, "Man is also the embodiment of the Tao, the law of man is the earth, the law of the earth is the law of the sky, the law of heaven is the way, the Tao is the law of nature, the human and the way of heaven, how can it not be involved?"

Brother Gongsun also said just now that people have a difference in identity, since there is a difference in identity between people, what is the difference between them and birds and beasts, it is the way of heaven. The difference in identity also determines the gap in each other's status, identity and status are one and two, two and one thing, how can it be said to be equal?

Between heaven and earth, wolves eat sheep, and sheep eat grass, which is a matter of heaven and earth, if it is the other way around, it is a demon. How can there be equality between wolves and sheep, sheep and grass?

Even if it is the same race, there is a wolf king in the wolf, a horse king in the horse, a snake, an insect, a rat and an ant, each has a king, and there is no equality between the same kind.

"Good! Well spoken!" suddenly resounded from under the wooden platform.

"Quiet, quiet! and listen to how Gongsun Gongzi explains!" Supervisor Wang Dashan slapped the shocked wood several times in a row and shouted loudly.

Although Gongsun Wuwu and others had prepared in advance, they did not expect that some people would refute the theory of equality from the perspective of Confucianism but from the perspective of Taoism, and it was difficult to answer for a while, because they knew that every word they said could become a handle for the other party to seize and counterattack.

Gongsun Wuwu arched his hand at Wang Dashan and said, "Let me discuss it later!"

"Accurate!" Wang Dashan nodded expressionlessly, lit another stick of incense, and said, "But it must not exceed the time of one stick of incense!"

Gongsun Wuwu and the others got together and discussed in a low voice the time for most of the incense, before they each returned to their respective positions, Gongsun Wuwu cleared his throat and rattled the bell: "Brother Chen's question just now is very good, but it seems to ignore a premise, people are the spirit of all things, different from pigs, horses, cattle and sheep, and different from jackals, tigers and leopards.

'Man is the law of the earth, the earth is the law of the sky, the heaven is the law of the Tao, and the Tao is the law of nature. This is true, but it is not a simple imitation, but an imitation of its essence.

What is the essence of the existence of the Tao? It is balance and stability, and it is the mutual restraint and coexistence of the five elements. It is precisely because of this that there will be permanence in heaven, not for Yao, not for death, and all things will be born in spring and killed in autumn, and will be endless. This is what we should think about and think about. If it is just a simple imitation, what is the difference between people and pigs, horses, cattle and sheep, and jackals, tigers and leopards?

Pigs, horses, cattle and sheep, jackals, tigers and leopards derive from their nature, they hunt when they are hungry, go to sleep when they are sleepy, and mate when the time comes. Can people do this? When they are hungry, they go to find something to eat, but what if they don't have anything to eat? Do they rob, burn, kill, plunder, or even eat the flesh of their companions? Does Brother Chen think that today's weed-like thieves are the way of heaven? Does Brother Chen think that it is a matter of course for the barbarians on the northern grasslands to come to our Central Plains to plunder? Then what kind of peaceful and prosperous world should be built? Isn't this the most direct manifestation of the way of heaven?

If that's the case, then what's the difference between my human race and my beasts?"

Gongsun Wuwu paused, glanced at the people on and off the stage, and then said: "The difference between humans and beasts is because there are human beings, and it is precisely with human ethics to regulate the relationship between people, which will make the human world stable."

Without stable human relations, the world will become

However, what kind of human ethics should we build? This is a question worth considering, and it is by no means decided by any one person with a pat on the head.

The theory of equality is an idea, an idea of how to establish a balanced and stable human ethics, and it is also a principle, a principle on which a stable human ethics should be based.

Of course, there may be something missing, and now it is still extremely simple, and it needs to be constantly supplemented and developed, but this son believes that the nine-story platform, starting from the soil, the journey of thousands of miles, begins with a single step, sooner or later, maybe we can't see this day, the human ethics established on the basis of equality, must be presented in this world!

The road is long, I will go up and down and seek!

Today's Lingering Garden Feast, is not to compete with all of you from afar for a short and long, nor is it necessarily to talk about a win or lose, the so-called stone of other mountains, you can attack jade, this Lingering Garden Feast is to hold an attitude of discussion, absorb the opinions of all parties, and gradually improve the theory of equality. The cornerstone of this discussion is also based on the principle of equality, as long as anyone does not deliberately disturb the feast, they can speak their minds freely, and no one can retaliate under any other pretext!"

Gongsun Wuwu's words not only made many Confucian scholars on the spot fall into contemplation, but even Li Fengyun also fell into contemplation. Although he was the first to put forward the theory of equality, now it seems that Gongsun Wuwu, Hua Jieyu and others have far surpassed him in their understanding of the phrase "all men are created equal".

As Gongsun Wuwu said, this road is still very long, the road is long, and it is very difficult, which can be seen from the fact that there are only seventeen people behind Gongsun Wuwu, not to mention other people, even among the people who came out of the original Tibetan Army Valley, how many people really believe and truly understand the theory of equality?

"Amitabha, good and good, Li Shizhu and Gongsun Shizhu are really people with great wisdom, great wisdom, and great compassion, and they make such a grand wish, and the old man is really ashamed of himself.
