Thanks to the helpful readers, and of course the editor at the beginning, I will be officially entering the paid chapter on September 16th. Pen "Fun" Pavilion www.biquge.info

As many long-time readers speculated, this book is a sequel to my last book, "Maggots, Flies, Corpses, and Sea Swords". But usually you don't need to read the previous one, you can read this book "Ten Thousand Ghosts and Ten Thousand Immortals" without barriers.

This book was originally just the final volume of the Corpse Sea Sword, telling the story of Taiyi's past and present lives, as well as the stories of ten thousand ghosts and ten thousand immortals related to him. But in the end, I overturned my original idea, because this volume is so long that even if I add a million words, I can't tell the story of Wan Gui, Wan Xian, Chi You, and Shanhaimen.

Then simply write another book of ten thousand ghosts and immortals.

Readers who are a little longer will find that there is a figure of Zhang Qianfeng in "Portrait of a Mask", and he confided in some clues about ten thousand ghosts and ten thousand immortals. But I hope readers don't pay attention to these clues, because I really can't make it.

In the oriental vampire setting in Europe and the United States, Wan Xian degenerates into ten thousand ghosts, and ten thousand ghosts degenerate into ghosts, and they are also Kuijing, the vampires of the East. These vampires are quite interesting, they feed on humans, but they are afraid of the twelve Hades (some Chinese and some Japanese) in the Yellow Springs, and when the infighting between the Hades ends, a demon emperor will be born, and the demon emperor will bring eternal peace, which means the demise of vampires and humans. In addition to fighting humans, vampires also fight against the demons of Hades.

I borrowed part of the setting, but abandoned the idea of using a vampire theme, which was too restrictive and incompatible with Chinese Xianxia. I gave up the twelve Hades of the Europeans and Americans and made up another Hades myself, of course, borrowing ancient Chinese mythological stories.

Taiyi (or coiled) is a very different character from the goshawk. Taiyi is essentially a conspirator with darker evil thoughts and sins. Goshawk is actually still a good person, although he is weak in his heart, he wants to stop the powerful demons, but what about Taiyi? He is also afraid, but more often than not, he hates, waits, and is hungry.

So it's going to be a protagonist with a lot of flaws, but his complexity makes me feel refreshed to write. Taiyi will struggle unwitnessed between good and evil, and I will do my best to ensure that he does not go down the wrong path.

I used to keep admonishing myself to be more cruel and to write some characters to death, especially the female characters, whose presence brought the theme of the story to the surface. Let the living live, let the mortal die, this is the author's job. But in fact I couldn't do it the first few times, and I couldn't do it to subjecte these characters to inhuman abuse and humiliation, because traditional martial arts writers don't seem to do that: they all uphold some justice and fairness.

I also can't get the protagonist to adopt female characters and be happy like the emperor, because I always feel that the characters are alive, independent, have their own ideas and freedom, and pursue their goals, rather than being submissive like ancient Chinese women. So I kept the goshawk suffocating from beginning to end, and even if the reader said that he couldn't get up again, I held back until the end.

Let's hope that won't be the case. In fact, it won't.

Please forgive me for not liking the character's unchanging character, all characters, from young to middle-aged, from pawns to nobles, have different experiences, everyone will change (in fact, in reality), maybe it's a petty profit, maybe it's a revenge for killing relatives, maybe it's unbelievable, maybe it's not being able to chase, if there's a fuse, I'll make the character black, or whitewashed, even if it unfortunately destroys the original outline.

This book takes place in an extraordinary world, where martial arts become ethereal and fantastical, but it will still be a river and lake. It is full of living, happy revenge, licking blood with knives, and vying for power and profit, swaying between the forces that call themselves immortals and those who are willing to fall into demons.

I prayed to Heaven that I would not be a eunuch, even if I was always told that I was bad.

Thank you for your continued support. (To be continued.) )
