City C, a bustling and romantic metropolis.

At the foot of the picturesque South Mountain, there is a villa area of considerable size, in a white bungalow, where a family of three lives.

It was a moonless night.

Leng Yue, the heroine of the story, is sitting alone on the sofa, holding a book of Tang and Song poems in her hand, but her eyes are fascinated by the rain and mist outside the window.

She is a freelance writer who specializes in writing romance novels, and although she is new to the industry, her love stories are poignant and moving, and they have earned readers tears. But her own married life was dull and boring, like stagnant water.

Her husband Li Min, although he is also good-looking, their personalities are diametrically opposed. Her husband is realistic, proficient in everything worldly, while Leng Yue is dreamy, romantic, and full of bizarre ideas.

They really are people of two worlds. But God mismatched the mandarin duck and pulled the red line by mistake, although the two lacked love, more than ten years passed in a flash, and their son also went to college.

Thinking of her son Siqi, Leng Yue's heart swayed with warmth, and a little smile appeared on her face, but when her eyes shifted to the wallpapers, curtains, carpets, and furniture at home that were too elegantly decorated, her heart was suddenly oppressed by these things, making her uncomfortable and making her breathless.

Why? She couldn't tell.

Was it brought by her tycoon husband who became rich overnight, or was there something wrong with her own psychology?

She shook her head, smiling wryly for some reason.

It was dark, drizzling, and it was raining all the time, and it was slowly increasing.

The open window welcomes the twilight of a room and the loneliness of a room.

Strange, for many years, Leng Yue hardly knew what loneliness was, and she didn't know what loneliness was, because she was too busy, she was busy with work, housework, children, and her writing. She doesn't have time to be alone, and she doesn't have time to be lonely.

Now, her son has gone to college, and she can be regarded as having a successful career and a little fame, but time is too much for her.

Suddenly, she felt that there was no point in doing anything, and she lost interest in everything.

She was quiet, numb, like a hibernating insect, and spent the day long.

It was darker, and the twilight was heavier.

She nestled in the couch, her ankle-length white dressing gown wrapping her graceful body. The impeccable face, still young and beautiful, was a little pale and a little haggard. The pair of big, foggy eyes that looked a little melancholy, half-hidden, the poems of the Tang and Song dynasties, had long been lying on the wide and luxurious leather sofa, and had fallen into a state of semi-sleep with her.

Suddenly, there was a car horn outside the gate, and then the doorbell rang urgently.

Leng Yue woke up suddenly, she rubbed her eyes and stood up.

She turned on the crystal chandelier in the hall to brighten up the room. She took an umbrella, walked down the stairs, and after opening the door, she held up the umbrella and walked out.

"Yue'er, Yue'er, come out, take a look at my new car!"

Immediately, she heard someone outside the gate yelling with their necks straightened. Then there was another car horn.

Leng Yue ran out of the gate, and a cool breeze hit, blowing her shoulder-length hair that was soft and shiny, and the ends of her hair were naturally curled.

She shuddered and saw an imported, dark red sports car parked at the gate. The new, streamlined, shiny body glistened in the drizzle.

Her husband, Li Min, stuck his head out of the car window and shouted happily: "Yue'er, look, I just bought a new sports car! I just bought it today! Do you think this car is cool?" His shining, excited childlike eyes sparkled faintly.

It was indeed a beautiful car, stylish, luxurious, and cute.
