Mei Zhenyi: "I can understand the sentence, but I still need the master's guidance on the meaning." ”

Sun Simiao did not explain, and said: "There is a cloud in the "Neijing" that 'the life of things is the transformation, the extremes of things are the change, the yin and yang are unpredictable, and the gods are holy without a way', can you understand?"

Mei Zhenyi: "I understand somewhat, but I can't understand it deeply. ”

Sun Simiao smiled and said again: ""Lao Tzu" has a cloud, 'coming to the world with the Tao, and its ghosts are not gods. It is not a ghost or a god, and its god does not hurt people. 'Can you understand?'. ”

Mei Zhenyi: "Master is talking about too mysterious, but what I want to ask is very simple. When so many people die in the world and we don't see so many ghosts, what is the matter with ghosts? What does God do?

Sun Simiao quoted three sentences from the Book of Changes, the Book of Changes, and the Tao Te Ching to talk about ghosts and gods, which made Mei Zhenyi feel even more confused. The word God has many interpretations and multiple meanings, it can be both an adjective and a noun, and when used as an adjective, it refers to yin and yang. The so-called yin and yang is a very mysterious concept, and it is also the internal opposition and dependence of all things, such as day and night, rigidity and softness, men and women, rise and fall, life and death. When it is used as a noun and is used in conjunction with ghosts and gods, what is the concept? First of all, we have to talk about ghosts.

When people die as ghosts, ghosts also call them "return", which means home. A person is dead, but all the information about him has not completely disappeared, such as the words and writings he left behind, the impact of his actions during his lifetime, people's impressions of him, and the feelings of likes and dislikes. Whether others praise or misunderstand him, nostalgia or resentment, this person's life is over, and the coffin can be closed and there will be no change. But all the information he left behind, the living can still feel, and "ghosts" are born because of induction!

The ghost is the sense of the living to the deceased, and it appears because of the person, so sometimes two people are together, A says I saw the ghost of so-and-so, B says I didn't see it at all, this is completely normal. Because B has no sense, so-and-so's ghost does not exist for him.

After death, the essence and blood are exhausted, and the remains are scattered between heaven and earth and re-enter reincarnation. But this person's life has been determined, so the "ghost" is no longer changing, so it is between yin and yang. There is also a very special situation, that is, this person has not died in his old age, his vitality is not extinguished, or his soul has not died, and his "ghost" can feel that he has become a spirit, and he can also practice with the power of other people's induction, and has the magic power to influence external objects. This kind of ghost who feels like a spirit is called a yin god, and the ghost god served by Ming Chongyan is this kind of yin god.

In this way, the concept of "god" in "ghost" and "immortal" is different, the former is a noun, and the latter is mostly an adjective, and "god" is used to describe "immortal" beyond the cycle of life and death.

God as a noun also has a meaning, it is also a sense of spirit, not only the yin god self-sense, but with external objects to feel the magic power. For example, cultivating into a spirit can sense the power of a mountain and river, called the god of the land, the god of the mountain, etc., and the cultivation into a spirit can sense the power of things, such as the god of flowers. This category of "gods" is called "gods." The god refers to the status of the dojo, for example, the dojo of the mountain god is such a mountain, which is not completely fixed, and the god may also lose the dojo and become a wandering demon.

The status of a god can be high or low, depending on the power he senses to external objects. There is a type of god that is the most important, it is canonized by the emperor who is in charge of the sun, moon, mountains and rivers, has a very respectful dojo status, and is worshiped by incense, and can be practiced by the aura of the dojo and the wish of the worshipper. This kind of god is "god", but whether it is an ordinary god or a high god, it cannot be a human being, and even a human being cannot be a living person.

There is also a very interesting situation, that is, the so-called "gods" themselves do not exist at all, but only arise from the induction of the worshippers, which is similar to the "ghosts" mentioned above.

"God" as a noun, if metaphysical, also has a broad sense, the most familiar concept. For example, Buddha, Taishang Laojun, immortals, bodhisattvas, and even Allah and God are all called gods. The concept of this type of god is "the god of merit." The status of the god of merit is incomparable, and its sacredness is inviolable and profane, and it is respected and worshiped by the world, which is different from the concept of "god" just discussed.

In Sun Simiao's view, as long as people in the world have righteous thoughts and have no loss in what they do, then ghosts and gods will not be troubled, not that ghosts and gods do not do anything, but that there is no harm to ghosts and gods in the world, so there is no need to talk about it. That's why he quoted the sentence of "Lao Tzu": "If you come to the world with the Tao, its ghosts are not gods." It is not a ghost or a god, and its god does not hurt people. Sun Simiao is a master of Chinese studies and metaphysics, but not a contemporary Marxist, and he said such a thing very reasonably and profoundly.

This old man is neither proud nor pretentious, and he can think of what it will be like behind him, which makes Mei Zhenyi even more admirable. Who is the medicine prince? Can the medicine prince collect a few baskets of eggs from the villagers? Can the medicine prince cure He Yougu's illness? Mei Zhenyi couldn't help nodding, and after a long time, he asked again: "Since people die as ghosts, I heard my fellow villagers say that after people die, they have to go to the Netherworld, so is there really a Netherworld Mansion?"

"Yes!" replied Sun Simiao without thinking.

Mei Zhenyi was stunned for a moment, and then asked: "I also heard the nuns in the nunnery say that after death, people enter the six realms of reincarnation, so is there really a hell?"

"Yes!" Sun Simiao replied very simply.

"So what's going on with these? Master didn't mention these when he talked about ghosts and spirits just now. Seeing Sun Simiao's affirmative answer, Mei Zhenyi was very puzzled.

Sun Simiao stood up from the Flying End Rock, patted Mei Zhenyi's head and said, "You don't have to talk about it, you can't talk about it, before the disciple reaches the realm of Dacheng Zhenren, the master has no way to answer this kind of question, and you may understand the truth in the future." ......
