Shennongqin and Mr. Hongya in the outer chapter

The relevant research results of the Yandi Cultural Research Association pointed out that Zuo Qiu Ming's "Shiben Composition" recorded: "Shennong made the qin. Pen ~ fun ~ Pavilion www.biquge.info Shennong Qin is three feet six inches long. There are five strings on it, called Gong, Shang, Jiao, Zheng, and Yu. Yang Xiong wrote in the book "Yang Zi": "In the past, there were Shennong who made a piano to fix the spirit, forbid obscenity, and remove evil desires, and those who were naïve. The Han Dynasty scholar Huan Tan's "New Treatise on the Qin Dao" clearly said: "The qin is also made by Shennong." It is believed that after the Shennong clan seized power, he once "looked up at the law in the sky, and took the law from the earth." So he began to cut the paulownia for the piano, practice the silk for the strings, with the virtue of the gods, and the harmony of heaven and earth. Shennong's is the five strings of the qin, which is enough to pass through all things and test the chaos. Some experts believe that the five strings on the "Shennong Qin" are called Gong, Shang, Jiao, Zheng, and Yu, which are actually the pentatonic scale referred to in Chinese folk music.

Linglun is also known as Linglun, Mr. Hongya. It is a character in the folklore of the ancient Han people. According to the records of "Lü's Spring and Autumn and Midsummer Chronicles", Ling Lun is the ancestor of Chinese music. According to legend, he was a music official in the era of the Yellow Emperor, and was the ancestor of the ancient Chinese invention of the law and the use of music to make music. "Lü's Spring and Autumn Ancient Music" has a record of "the former Yellow Emperor ordered Linglun as a law", saying that Linglun simulated the sound of phoenix birds in nature, selected a bamboo tube with a well-proportioned growth of the inner cavity and cavity wall, and made twelve laws, implying that "the male song is six", which is 6 yang laws, and "the female song is also six", which is 6 yin Lu. The "Ancient Music" chapter also records the legend of Linglun making music. In the records, only the content of the music and dance of the clan society before the Yellow Emperor is listed, and the name is based on the clan name; after the clan society entered the patrilineal line, there was a special music name since Ling Lun wrote "Xianchi".

See "The Legend of the Immortals: Volume I": Mr. Hongya, an ancient immortal, a close minister of the Yellow Emperor, can sing and dance, and the Three Emperors are also tricks). "Lü's Spring and Autumn Ancient Music" uses him as the inventor of Chinese music rhythms and musical instruments (see "Lü's Spring and Autumn Ancient Sages": "In the past, the Yellow Emperor ordered Ling Lun to make five rules, listen to the song of the phoenix, and do not use the twelve rules; the Yellow Emperor ordered Ling Lun and Rong to cast twelve bells to combine the five tones to give the edict.

Legends

"Qiaoshan gathers the scenery on a moonlit night, and the spring smoke of Fengling surrounds all directions." Fengling is located on the east side of the Yellow Emperor's Mausoleum and is one of the eight scenic spots in HL County.

Legend has it that Fengling is the place where the phoenix falls. At that time, the Yellow Emperor ordered Ling Lun to make music rhythm, and Ling Lun took the bamboo of the lazy valley, and first used the thickness and uniformity of it to make a bamboo pipe.

At first, the tone that was blown out had no distinction between yin and yang, and it was not a rhythm at all. People sarcastically said, "If you don't listen to the bamboo pipe you blow, you will scare the beasts away."

Once the Yellow Emperor was practicing horseback riding, and just stepped on the horse, suddenly there was a strange cry made by Ling Lun blowing bamboo pipes. When the Yellow Emperor's horse heard this strange sound, he was so frightened that his hooves flew into the air, raised his head and neighed, and threw the Yellow Emperor off the horse.

When Ling Lun heard the Yellow Emperor's encouragement, he was ashamed to say to the Yellow Emperor: "I haven't made a musical rhythm for three years, which is a great sin, and the Yellow Emperor still encourages me like this."

The Yellow Emperor said: "You can't say that, an ordinary bamboo pipe, with a few small holes drilled on it, can be blown, this is your invention and credit, how can it be said to be a 'sin'?" After saying that, he led the horse away.

With the encouragement of the Yellow Emperor, Ling Lun became more confident and practiced hard all day long, but he still couldn't blow a harmonious tone.

One day, Ling Lun came to Fengling alone, lay on a stone and meditated, and fell asleep unconsciously. While he was sleeping soundly, he was suddenly awakened by the wonderful sound of birds in the trees. Ling Lun immediately sat up and rubbed his eyes, looked up, only to see two birds with beautiful feathers and beautiful bodies falling on the tree, the sound was tactful and melodious, very beautiful, Ling Lun opened his eyes wide, listened carefully, and couldn't help but pick up the homemade bamboo pipe, imitate the bird's call and blew up, when the blow was strong, the two birds suddenly stopped chirping, spread their wings and flew away. Ling Lun was so anxious that he stomped his feet and beckoned again. However, the bird has flown away without a trace.

After Ling Lun went back, he reported the matter to the Yellow Emperor, and blew the half-baked bird call he had learned to the Yellow Emperor intermittently. After hearing this, the Yellow Emperor said happily: "This bird is called Phoenix, and it is the king of birds." The bridge country can attract the phoenix, which is an auspicious omen."

Since then, the place where the phoenix rests is called "Fengling". Ling Lun came to Fengling every day, sat on a big rock, and waited for the phoenix to chirp. Sure enough, there are constantly phoenixes perched in the Fengling woods. However, the phoenixes that fall here may not all chirp. After a long period of observation, Ling Lun found that among the chirping phoenixes, the phoenix's chirping voice was passionate and high-spirited, and the phoenix's chirping voice was soft and long. After each pair of phoenixes perched, they chirped six times at a time, and then, after a chorus, they flew away.

According to the two six tones of the phoenix's chirp, after a long time of speculation and deliberation, Ling Lun finally created a musical 12-tone rhythm, which was praised by the Yellow Emperor. After that, Ling Lun recorded the cries of all kinds of birds and beasts one by one, constantly enriching the rhythm he created. For example, the sound of a horse's hooves can be expressed with a drum, and the sound of a bird can be expressed with a whistle

At the same time, there is also a legend that Ling Lun discovered the twenty-four solar terms according to the rhythm of music.

In the time of the Yellow Emperor, there was a musician named Ling Lun, who used the bamboo of the Kunlun Mountain Jiegu to make 12 sections of pipes of different lengths but a certain proportion, filled the middle of the pipe with ashes made of reeds, and buried these carefully processed bamboo pipes under the soil, aligned one end of the bamboo pipe on the land plane, and the end of the different lengths was in the ground. Wait until the winter solstice, that is, in the twelve hexagrams, when the first yang of the month is born, the yang energy in the earth qi sprouts and causes physical changes, at this time, the longest pipe has a breath of earth qi to break through the ashes, making a sound, this pipe is nine inches long, set as the palace sound, also called the sound of the yellow bell. According to the different news of the twelve hexagrams of yin and yang, there will be a tube every month that is vibrated by the earth's qi and makes different sounds, people divide these twelve different sounds into two categories of yin and yang according to the different yin and yang of the month, six yang is called law, and six yin is lu, referred to as twelve laws.

The six laws are born for the vibration of yang energy, and the six laws are Huang Zhong, Tai Tuan, Gu Xi, Rui Bin, Yi Ze, and Wu Ji, which are matched with Zi, Yin, Chen, Wu, Shen, and Xuyue, respectively, and are also compatible with the Fu, Tai, Ku, Ji, No, and Peel hexagrams of the 12 hexagrams.

The six yin are born for the vibration of yin qi, and the six lu are respectively Da Lu, Jia Zhong, Zhong Lu, Lin Zhong, Nan Lu, Ying Zhong, and Chou, Mao, Si, Wei, You, Hai Yue, and also coincide with the Lin, Da Zhuang, Qian, Dun, Guan, and Kun hexagrams of the 12 hexagrams.

The ancients believed that heaven and earth are the creators of music, and that the rise and fall of the Yi hexagram, the twelve earthly branches, the December building, and the twelve laws are all interconnected, which is completely in line with the principles of nature, and in the cosmic structure of the trinity of heaven, earth, and man, music is an indispensable bridge between the three to coordinate and connect. The sound has the difference of thickness and lightness, and the sound has the difference of length and voice, so that the palace, Shang, horn, sign, and feather are harmonized, it is necessary to use and harmonize the rhythm to play the most beautiful movement.
