I'm not stupid!
From the perspective of an old author, "The Cultivation of the Holy Land of Martial Arts" is determined to be less than five hundred now, which is obviously a bit of a hit. If the rational choice is to cut it off immediately and open a new book.
I didn't do that.
Am I stupid?
A lot of people think I'm stupid, some author friends, old readers, some new readers, and some people who have nothing to do with me before, now, or even in the future come to the book review area to call me stupid.
I deleted those posts.
Some people say, why do you put martial arts classification in this book?
Some people say, why the hell do you sell dog meat on the head of a sheep, and what about good martial arts? It is written that it is super martial, and it is also a human immortal, an earth immortal, a heavenly immortal, a fairy man, and a fierce beast, does this have the flavor of martial arts?
Some people say, what are the few things written, it's not martial arts, it's not cool to watch, the author is brainless, right?
There are also some people who say, "There are so many ugly things that I can't remember them all, even though every sentence is my glass heart" (hehe).
I can't say if what they're saying is right or wrong, and I don't know if some of my books are right or wrong.
I just want to explain this single chapter today.
I'm not brain-dead!
I'm not stupid either!
I know what I'm writing!
It's true!
Before I wrote this book, I thought - what is martial arts?
Judging from the performance of this book and the market reaction, there is only one martial arts in the eyes of most people, as well as the immortal plots of Jin Gu Huang Liangwen back then.
The scenes and realm descriptions are exceeded, they are not martial arts, they are fantasy, and they are immortals!
That's not how I think so.
What I care more about is the "chivalry" after the word "martial arts"!
I think martial arts are just a means to show the spirit of "chivalry"!
Therefore, the means of "martial arts" can be varied more, the scene is larger, and the level is deeper, because it is only a means, and the ultimate embodiment is "chivalry"!
What is chivalry?
There is a great country for the country and the people!
There is also a promise of gold, happy and revenge!
There's a lot of talk about that, and I don't want to talk about it anymore.
The reason why I wrote "The Cultivation of the Holy Land of Martial Arts" as martial arts and put it in the category of martial arts is because what I want to write is chivalry, not the spirit embodied in the current fantasy and immortal xia.
These questions have only recently become so clear.
Fantasy and Xianxia were born in our era, so it embodies more of a person's struggle, constantly getting better results, and making people's lives better - this is the mainstream spirit of our times, so it has a sense of substitution, and Fantasy Xianxia is also very marketable.
However, the spirit contained in the martial arts of that year was mainly the traditional Chinese national spirit such as loyalty, filial piety, benevolence and righteousness, and there were also some self-sacrificing spirits left over from the century-old national crisis, which was completely different from the spirit of this era.
Therefore, even though there are many people writing about martial arts now, I really don't see anyone writing about the spirit of martial arts back then, but bringing the spirit of our time into it, and using the martial arts of Jin Gu Huangliang Wen to express what people in our time are pursuing.
However, when I wrote "The Cultivation of the Holy Land of Martial Arts", I hoped to express the spirit of martial arts in those years by using super martial arts (even if it is similar to fantasy and fairy tales).
I didn't do it very well because I wanted to write that spirit and feel at the same time, but obviously I didn't do it well.
The book pounced.
Is my perception and opinion of martial arts wrong?
I don't think so.
It's just that I don't think the same way as most people.
Maybe my choice is not in line with the market, but I will stick to it!
Finally, I really know what I'm writing and what I want to write.
So, I'm not brain-dead, and I'm not stupid!
As people who love novels, I hope we all give each other a little respect!
In the end, I believe that there will always be some people who think the same way as me, there will always be some people who can understand why I wrote the way I did, and there will always be some people who are destined for this book "The Cultivation of the Holy Land of Martial Arts".
If you don't have a chance, please go.
Thank you, for meeting you in this book we all love! )
