If we look at the composition and reproduction of the race alone, in order to ensure the stability of the race, it is often necessary to compress this extreme desire, or to detract from the behavior of some people to satisfy their desires, so as to satisfy another part of the people.
The way of heaven is to make up for the deficiency when there is more than is lost. The way of man is to lose more than enough.
Heaven has no kinship, selfishness, good and evil, and all right and wrong, right and wrong, right and evil, are all based on the judgment between humanity's "insufficiency" and "excess".
Whether it is the budding evolution of humane civilization or the foundation of Taoism practice, it is indeed compressing this kind of extreme desire. Because the real world in front of us does not allow a single self to exist to completely dominate the whole world, and each independent self is also another person in the eyes of others, and humane civilization is the sum of the experiences of countless independent selves learning to get along together, even if this "sum" is sometimes more and sometimes less.
It's just that the practice of Taoism has an additional layer of enlightenment on this foundation, and in addition to the immediate world within reach, each independent self has another spiritual world. But this world can be completely dominated by the self, and even the desire itself is constantly derived from this world.
Starting from this, the cultivation system of the world emerges in a variety of forms, and because the foundation of the heart is implemented throughout the Taoist practice, it is inevitable that the ordinary people outside the door mistakenly think that the cultivation of the immortal path is to cut off the worldly desires, but they do not know that regulating the desires of the mind and mind is more clever and subtle than breaking the desires of the world.
A stone is ruthless, desireless, unrelated and selfless, is it possible that it has already proved that the path of immortality is not successful? Ascending and transcending will eventually have to be verified step by step, and the spiritual world of independence and self needs to be constantly adjusted and transformed to make it more and more heavenly way.
For the sake of learning day by day, for the Tao day by day, loss after loss, so that inaction. When the world of one's own mind has perfected the Tao and is natural, quiet and inactive, then the immortal path is not far away.
