Some scholars believe that the legend of Pangu originated in the local area. After the Yandi, Chiyou and other tribes migrated to the south from the Yellow River Valley, the legend of Fuxi evolved into the Pangu clan, which spread among the ethnic minorities in the south. As far as the 21st century is concerned, the earliest record of Pangu is the "Liutao" written by the Warring States Period, and there is a sentence "Pangu Zhizong" in "Liutao?Daming". Looking at this sentence, it is about heaven and earth morality, that is, state affairs, if you want to be not fierce in state affairs, you can't move the "Pangu Sect". Therefore. The "Pangu Sect" here must be a concept, and some scholars interpret it as sacrificing Pangu. The major affairs of the country are in worship and Rong. In this way, it seems to make a lot of sense.
However, if it is considered that the "Pangu Sect" here is a sacrifice to the Pangu clan, another problem arises - the imperial lineage of the "Liutao Daming" cited in the Northern Song Dynasty's "Tongjian Waiji" is: "Baihuang clan, Li Lu clan, Li Lian clan, Xuanyuan clan, Gonggong clan, Zonglu clan." Zhu Rong, Yongcheng, Chaos, Haoying, Youchao, Zhuxiang, Ge Tian, Yinkang, Wuhuai. If the "Pangu Sect" of "Liutao: Daming" is indeed Pangu, then why did the emperor of the same article forget it?
So what is this "Pangu Sect" that is related to the stability of the country?
"Historical Records: The Records of the Filial Piety Text": Emperor Gao was the prince and the younger brother, and the dog's tooth was in the same system, and the so-called Panshi Sect was also;

The characters of Panshi Pangu are similar, and it is not uncommon for them to make mistakes in copying, such as Chen Menglei's editing of "Ancient and Modern Book Collection", which copied Panshi Mountain in Li Daoyuan's "Notes on the Water Classic" into Pangu Mountain.
And through the decisive evidence in the "Historical Records" and "Book of Han", we can conclude. The "Pangu Sect" in "Liutao: Da Ming" is a forgery of "Panshi Sect".
Therefore, "Liutao: Daming" does not prove that there was Pangu in the pre-Qin period. The earliest record of Pangea. It was still in the Three Kingdoms period.
So let's look at the Three Kingdoms period. In addition to the Wei tablet that is difficult to use as evidence, there are only three records of the Three Kingdoms period, one is Wei Zhao's "Cave Records", and the other two are Xu Quan's "Three Five Calendars" and "Five Fortune Calendar Records".
And we can see that they are two people under the rule of Soochow. The recorded Pangu is very different. Why is this happening? I think it was around this time that the Pangea myth was created.
What Wei Zhao recorded a little earlier was that it was said that according to secular legends, Pangu turned seventy in one day. Although he said secular traditions, these four words are really debatable. During the Han Dynasty and the Han Dynasty, Nuwa also recorded that her image was that of a young woman. Until the late Han Dynasty. Taiyi Baoxi and Chang Yitu gradually evolved from a dragon body to a snake body, their claws were gone, their names changed, and they became Fuxi Nuwa. Therefore, in the late Han Dynasty, what was passed down from generation to generation in the world would not be Pangu one day seventy in any case. So I think that Pangu was originally made by this benevolent brother, as for why it is called Pangu, I think it may be because of the brain-dead after watching "Liutao: Daming", or because of "Yinzi Pangu", or because of the Weishu character Juling Hu got such a name. Of course, this is just an unfounded obscenity, but even if Pangu didn't come out of him, it wouldn't be much earlier than him.
As for Pangu's words of "covering the sky and the earth for the earth" that he remembered, I think it should follow the worldview of the time - "Yi has Taiji, it is the birth of two instruments, the two instruments are not divided, its qi is chaotic, the turbidity is divided, the subdued is the sky, and the Yan is the earth" ("The River Map Brackets the Earth")
Therefore, the Pangu here is the product of combining Nuwa and Chaos Vitality. It's quite nondescript, so Xu Cheng, who is behind Wei Zhao, has changed Pangu a lot. 80,000 years old was changed to 18,000 years, 70 was changed to 9 changes, and the human head snake body was changed to the dragon head snake body - I guess Wei Zhao's record still has the sentence of the head snake body of the ancient people, but it has not been handed down.
Although Xu taught the whole number body, after he changed it like this, he removed the salient characteristics of Nuwa, but he fused the characteristics of the candle dragon and the characteristics of the giant spirit. Everyone knows who the candle dragon is, but the giant spirit may not know much, this giant spirit is not the giant spirit god in Journey to the West, but a giant spirit called "Hu", generally known as "giant spirit Hu", he was born in chaos and can create mountains and rivers.
After Xu Cheng's modification, Pangu's image became the first creature in the chaos, a giant with a dragon's head and a snake body, and a transformer of all things, the original creator god, and the only king. The characteristics of the body include Nuwa, Candle Dragon, Djinn and Fuxi. Why is there Fuxi? Because in the Eastern Han Dynasty, Fuxi also had the shape of a dragon and was the first monarch after the opening up. When Xu Cheng came here, he was borrowed from Pangu.
By the way, the "Interpretation of History" cites the "Annals of the Five Fortunes of the Emperors", and the "Chronicles of the Five Fortunes" cites the "Annals of the Five Movements". The former inherited the "Theory of Yuanqi", but I didn't realize it when I wrote the previous article, and I always thought it was a book.
Although Xu Cheng perfected the Pangu myth, the spread of this Pangu myth is still not very good, and it can even be said that it has not been circulated at all.
Jao Tsung-i argues that Pangu appeared in the Eastern Han Dynasty through the "Records of the Yizhou Academy". He is old and dizzy, so we naturally can't blame him for not seeing the old cloud behind: "In the Taikang of the Western Jin Dynasty, Yizhou Thorn Shi Zhang closed the pen. But some scholars or amateurs have seen it, and it can be inferred from here that Pangu had spread in Sichuan during the Western Jin Dynasty. That's what I thought when I first watched "The Story of Yizhou Academy".
However, "Yizhou Xueguan Ji" is an inscription engraved in the early Tang Dynasty, and its "old clouds" say that the things of the Wei and Jin dynasties are really reliable?
The answer is that it is as unreliable as Wei Zhao's secular traditions.
The painting is very good. His paintings are also very famous, not only recorded in history, but also appreciated by the famous Wang Xizhi. Wang Xizhi had never heard of Zhang Shu, but he had heard of his paintings. However, the paintings that Wang Xizhi heard were different from those engraved in the Tang inscription, which said that Zhang Shu painted "the images of the ancients, Pangu, Li Lao and other gods, as well as the emperors of the past dynasties." Liang also painted the seventy-two disciples of Zhongni and the famous ministers since the Three Emperors". What Wang Xizhi heard was only the portraits of sages since the Three Emperors and Five Emperors. There was no Pangu and others. The portrait of Zhang Shui is also recorded in the Five Books of the Han and Wei Dynasties, which also means that he painted the portraits of sages since the Three Emperors and Five Emperors. There is no mention of Pangu and others.
So I think that what Zhang Shui painted is probably only the sages since the Three Emperors and Five Emperors. The old cloud, after all, is just hearsay.
And from the Zhiwei novels of the two Jin Dynasty, it can also be seen that the spread of Pangu. I'm afraid it hasn't been unfolded yet. According to my personal thoughts, the spread of Pangu spread with the development of Taoism after the Eastern Jin Dynasty.
It is worth noting that the inscription of the "Yizhou School Museum Record" says that the Zhou Gongli Hall had already been destroyed at that time. However, the Southern Song Dynasty's Lou Key's "Secret Stream Complete Text Collection" said, "Close to Liu's family school." Thus obtained its original. Cover from the Pangu clan below, to the seventy sons of the hundred and thirteen people, the painting is extremely exquisite and simple, and now there are more than 1,000 years old without hair and stripping soil suits. ”
Obviously, it is impossible to see the destroyed picture, so the Pangu map seen by the key is only redrawn by later generations.
Therefore, the Pangu diagram mentioned in the Tang inscription may also be redrawn by later generations. And the arrangement of the ancient, Pangu, and Li Lao has some flavor of Sanqing, and I think the picture is about between Qi Liang.
In the records of the Northern and Southern Dynasties, there is only one record of disagreement that exists today, and it is this one that has aroused the suspicion of many scholars. One is because the book "Shu Wei Ji" records the events after the death of its title author Ren Fang, and the other is because there are several entries in it that are similar to "Guan Qi Yu Yu".
My opinion is similar to Li Jianguo's, this book should have been written by Ren Fang, but there are traces of additions. I didn't find any papers from scholars. So here, I'm just going to say a little bit about my arguments.
"The death of the Xipangu clan is also, the head is the four mountains" ("Shu Wei Ji")
"The old saying is that the death of the Pangu clan is also the head of the five mountains" ("Guan Qi Yu Yu")
At first glance, the Pangu entries in these two books seem to be very similar, and in one paper I read, scholars only noticed the latter and concluded that the former copied the latter. But the biggest difference between the two books is in the opening sentence.
That's right, one is the four peaks and the other is the five peaks.
Although the name of the five mountains was determined in the Qin and Han dynasties, the four mountains were still commonly used in the habit since the Wei and Jin dynasties, and the five mountains did not begin to be used in large quantities until the Tang and Song dynasties. If "Shu Yi Ji" plagiarized "Guan Qi Yu Yu", I am afraid that it would not change the five mountains to four Yue, and if it is "Guan Qi Yu Yu" follows the statement since "Shu Wei Ji", after the early Tang Dynasty, it is very likely that the four mountains will be passed on to the five mountains. Therefore, on the basis of this alone, I can conclude that the "Narrative of Differences" is not a forgery by later generations.
However, there are still posterity tampering with the "Narrative of Differences", especially this Pangu entry. From the Middle Tang Dynasty's "Guan Qi Xuan Yu", we can see that it basically quotes the "Shu Wei Ji", and what it quotes does not have the words "said" such as "Qin and Han Dynasty Sayings", "Confucianism Says", and the latter paragraph of "Pangu Husband and Wife ......". Therefore, I think that I am afraid that these words will be added by later generations. And the time of adding it was after the Tang Yuan and Yuan periods.
Wu Chujian said: Pangu husband and wife, the beginning of yin and yang.
This statement reminds me of the story of the combination and reproduction of the gourd brothers and sisters after the Great Flood in southern mythology. After the wars of the Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, the exchanges between the southern tribe barbarians and the Han people in the Central Plains became more and more profound. By the time the two Song Dynasty began to form today's southern ethnic minorities, the two sides gradually became clear about their respective myths. But in the beginning, due to the difference in language, there was a lot of brain supplement.
The most famous is that the gourd brothers and sisters are equated with Fuxi Nuwa. Why? They're all brothers and sisters? Maybe add the similarity of pronunciation. However, if we talk about the similarity of pronunciation, this is what has been verified in modern times. Hearing that I used the gourd and gourd of the southern gourd to say that it was the sound of Fuxi Nuwa, I disagreed and directly denied it.
As for why it is directly denied, the basic basis is the above "Pangu brothers and sisters." ”
Wu Chujian, Kuang gourd, Kuang gourd, and Fuxi Nuwa's character pronunciation are much less similar than those with Pangu. Moreover, the similarity of Kuang Gu and Kuang Gua itself can be called Kuang Gu brothers and sisters in one, and the Han people listen to it. can listen to "Pangu brothers and sisters" even more.
Another reason is that there is also a "coil hook" in the mythology of the south - the myth of the whetstone and gourd in the Liangguang region - this myth is also the continuation of the human race by the brother and sister after the flood. Lao Wen can turn the sound of the gourd into Fuxi, can he turn the sound of Pangou into Fuxi? But it would be very easy for the Han people to listen to the words of Pangu.
Even since the Eastern Han Dynasty has been recorded in the Pan Gu, to the Tang and Song dynasties, the descendants of the self-identified Pan Gu people also began to say that it is the descendants of Pangu - Qian, Jing, Ba, Xia Siyi Miao Zhong, Xiantong three years of spring March 8, because of the thief Zhu Dao ancient camp gate competition day, and the barbarian thief will Daqiang Yang Atouch, Yang Shesheng, Tuodong judge Yang Zhongyi got the name.
