"This is what it is—a thought arises in a person's heart, and the heavens and the earth know it. If good and evil are not rewarded, there will be selfishness.

When the Bodhisattva heard this, he was filled with joy and said to the Great Sage: "The Bible says: 'If your words are good, you will be answered from a thousand miles away, and if your words are not good, you will be violated from a thousand miles away.'" Since you have this heart, when I go to the Eastern Tang Kingdom to find a person to learn the scriptures, teach him to save you. How about you become an apprentice with him, uphold the teachings, enter my Buddhism, and then correct the results?"
